The human being’s destiny.... Desire for truth....

The human being's destiny is the perfection of his soul on earth.... You humans were given the goal of spiritual maturity, which you should strive for and accomplish voluntarily, so that you will be suitable for the spiritual kingdom at the end of your earthly life. However, this irrefutable truth is only accepted by a few who will live their earthly lives accordingly.... Most people's thoughts are still deluded, they are spiritually blind and will not allow themselves to be disturbed when they are confronted by the truth.... They are only able to demonstrate their soul's low degree of development but do nothing in order to improve it.... they do not believe.... neither in a purpose of earthly life nor in accountability. Nor do they believe in a connection between creation and Creator.... and do not look for any clarification of what is tremendously important: what will happen to them after they have left their earthly body.... since they do not believe in life after death either....

Nevertheless, their unbelief will not protect them from their responsibility because they have free will and are not forced into unbelief, into their attitude towards God.... to Whom they could have given themselves voluntarily in order to then be constantly guided in their thoughts and actions as a result of their right attitude for God.... Because every person can turn to God, and he has no valid excuse for turning away from him other than that he doesn't want to.... Because as soon as he wants to know the truth it will be given to him by God, and then the human being himself will establish the right relationship with God.... That people's thoughts and wants differ is their own doing since the desire for truth assures correct thinking. Hence everyone should scrutinise himself as to how much he himself wants the truth.... If he indifferently accepts everything given to him as credible he will have no desire for truth himself or else he would scrutinise it.... And if he rejects everything given to him it could equally be an indifference to truth, which he is not seeking and which he therefore will never be able to recognise as truth either.

It is a person's own fault if he is ignorant, if he walks in spiritual blindness, because there is no desire for truth in him.... And no person can use the excuse that he does not know what truth is and could never assess it himself either.... on account of which he will reject everything. It is undeniably impossible for him to examine whether any information is based on truth, because he has to request God's support for it.... since his intellect alone is unable to carry out such an investigation. However, as soon as he turns to God Himself for support, for spiritual enlightenment, he will clearly know and be able to differentiate between truth and error.... But this requires faith in God.... And even the intellect will be able to affirm this faith if the person's will is good.... because all of creation is witness to the existence of a wise, omnipotent Creator and every intelligent human being wanting to penetrate the truth should be able to call upon this creative Spirit of eternity for help.... And he will soon receive clarification about his task on earth; he will give the right meaning to his life on earth and no longer live carelessly. He will be conscious of his responsibility for his soul and enable it to achieve the highest possible level of perfection....

De bestemming van de mens

De bestemming van de mens is het rijp worden van zijn ziel op aarde. Een geestelijk rijp worden is u als doel gesteld waar u in vrije wil naar moet streven. U kunt dit ook volbrengen om aan het einde van uw aardse leven geschikt te zijn voor het rijk hierna. Heel weinig mensen nemen echter deze onweerlegbare waarheid aan en stellen hun levenswijze daarop in. Het merendeel van de mensen is nog geestelijk blind en zij laten zich niet overhalen wanneer ze nader tot de waarheid worden gebracht. Hun ziel heeft nog een lage ontwikkelingsgraad maar ze doen niets om deze te verhogen. Zij geloven noch aan een levensdoel van het geschapene op aarde noch aan een Schepper, en trachten ook geen opheldering te verkrijgen over wat heel belangrijk is, bijvoorbeeld wat met hen zal gebeuren wanneer zij het aardse lichaam verlaten hebben. Zij geloven dus ook niet aan een voortleven na de dood.

Maar hun ongeloof neemt hun verantwoording niet weg. Want zij hebben een vrije wil, ze zijn niet gedwongen tot hun ongelovigheid, tot hun instelling tegenover GOD, aan WIE zij zich konden overgeven om dan door een juiste houding tegenover GOD gestadig door HEM geleid te worden in hun denken en handelen. Want ieder mens kan zich tot GOD keren en heeft voor zijn afwenden van HEM geen andere verontschuldiging dan die, dat hij niet wil. Want zodra hij de waarheid wil weten wordt ze hem ook gegeven, en dan brengt de mens zelf weer de juiste verhouding tot GOD tot stand.

Dat de mensen zo verschillend denken en willen ligt aan hen zelf, want het verlangen naar de waarheid waarborgt ook het juiste denken. Daarom moet ieder zich afvragen hoezeer hijzelf naar de waarheid verlangt. Neemt hij alles onverschillig als geloofwaardig aan wat hem geboden wordt dan heeft hij zelf geen verlangen naar de waarheid, want anders zou hij die onderzoeken. En weert hij alles af wat hem aangeboden wordt dan kan dat eveneens onverschilligheid zijn tegenover de waarheid die hij niet zoekt, en daarom ook nooit als waarheid zal inzien.

Wanneer de mens onwetend is en geestelijk blind voortgaat, is dat zijn eigen schuld, omdat in hem geen verlangen naar de waarheid is. En geen mens kan zich verontschuldigen dat hij niet weet wat waarheid is en dat hij die zelf niet beoordelen kan, om welke reden hij alles afwijst. Wel is het hem uit zichzelf niet mogelijk kennis op waarheid te onderzoeken omdat zijn verstand alleen zo'n onderzoek niet kan ondernemen, en hij daartoe GOD's hulp vragen moet.

Maar zodra hij zich tot GOD Zelf wendt om hulp en om geestelijke opheldering, zal hij ook duidelijk waarheid van dwaling kunnen onderscheiden. Daar is echter het. geloof in GOD voor nodig, en dit geloof kan zelfs het verstand accepteren wanneer de wil van de mens goed is. Want de gehele schepping getuigt van de aanwezigheid van een wijze en almachtige GOD en Schepper, en deze scheppende GEEST van eeuwigheid om hulp te bidden zal voor ieder wijs en denkend mens mogelijk zijn die in de waarheid binnen wil dringen. Die mens zal ook spoedig opheldering ontvangen over zijn bestemming op aarde en hij zal dan zijn levensloop de juiste betekenis toekennen, en niet meer lichtvaardig verder leven. Hij zal zich dan de verantwoording voor zijn ziel bewust zijn en haar tot de hoogst mogelijke volmaaktheid trachten te brengen.
