Fate in the beyond corresponds to thoughts and wishes on earth....

Your thoughts and wishes on this earth will be your fate in the spiritual kingdom after the death of your body. If you searched for light and truth on this earth, light will be waiting for you over there.... if you preferred the darkness because earthly matter had deluded you, then you will stay in dark surroundings over there too, in a realm where you feel unhappy for lack of light. Yet it happens in accordance with your will.... Light is constantly made available to you on earth and the path to eternal life is clearly and brightly illuminated, you need only enter it to find the kingdom of light after the death of your body.... If, however, you escape the light, if you walk the dark path, then you can only arrive in dark regions too....

You humans occupy yourselves very little indeed with what happens to you after your physical death.... You dismiss such thoughts from your mind when they occur to you, you constantly turn towards the world and its matter, and since this is transient you cannot take it with you into the spiritual realm. If material goods are your only riches on earth you will indeed arrive poor and naked in the spiritual kingdom.... Why do you not gather possessions on earth which are long-lasting, which accompany you on your way into the beyond.... why do you only lust after the transient possessions of this world?

The consequences of your way of life are presented to you time after time, your attention is drawn to your fate after your departure from this earth.... yet you pay little attention to the warnings and reprimands, you scrupulously carry on living from day to day even though you could be called to your final resting place tomorrow.... And then you receive what you desire on earth.... light or darkness.... you can’t be given anything else but what you have acquired during your life on earth. Consequently, as long as you live on earth think of the time after your death, think of your soul which is immortal and whose fate in the beyond you prepare while you live on earth.... strive towards the light on earth and create your soul’s happiness in the spiritual realm....

Het lot in het hiernamaals beantwoordt aan het denken en streven op aarde

Zoals uw denken en streven op deze aarde is, zo zal ook uw lot na uw lichamelijke dood in het rijk hierna zijn. Zoekt u het licht en de waarheid op deze aarde, dan zal ook ginds het licht u verwachten. Gaf u echter de voorkeur aan de duisternis omdat het aardse stof u de ogen verblindde, dan is uw verblijf daarginds ook in een donkere omgeving, in een sfeer waarin u zich ongelukkig voelt omdat het licht u ontbreekt. Maar u krijgt het loon dat u wenst.

Hier op aarde wordt u voortdurend in contact gebracht met het licht en wordt u de weg tot het eeuwige leven helder en klaar beschenen, zodat u die slechts behoeft in te slaan om na uw lichamelijke dood in het rijk van het licht aan te komen. Wanneer u echter het licht ontvlucht, wanneer u donkere wegen gaat, kunt u ook alleen maar in donkere gebieden terecht komen.

Dat u, mensen zich toch zo weinig bezig houdt met wat na uw dood met u geschiedt. U gooit deze gedachten, wanneer ze in u opkomen, van u af en richt uw ogen steeds weer op de wereld en op de materie ervan. Daar zij echter vergankelijk is kunt u er niets van meenemen in het rijk hierna. En als stoffelijke goederen uw enige rijkdom zijn op aarde, komt u in het rijk hierna arm en naakt aan.

Waarom verzamelt u op de aarde geen bezittingen die blijven bestaan, die u begeleiden op de weg in het rijk hierna? Waarom bent u alleen maar begerig naar de vergankelijke goederen van deze wereld? Steeds weer wordt u het resultaat van uw levenswandel onder ogen gebracht, u wordt opmerkzaam gemaakt op uw toestand na uw sterven op deze aarde. U schenkt heel weinig aandacht aan waarschuwingen en vermaningen, u leeft zonder last van uw geweten van de ene dag in de andere en toch kunt u morgen reeds opgeroepen worden om uw laatste gang te moeten gaan. En dan ontvangt u wat u hebt nagestreefd op aarde, licht of duisternis.

Er kan u niets anders gegeven worden dan wat u zich door uw aardse levenswandel verworven heeft. Maar zolang u op aarde leeft: denk aan de tijd na uw dood, denk aan uw ziel die onvergankelijk is en ook aan het lot in het hiernamaals dat u haar op aarde bereidt. Streef op aarde naar het licht en bezorg uw ziel de zaligheid in het geestelijke rijk.
