Purpose of the pests.... motive of the destructions....

Everything earthly only serves the perfection of the spiritual.... The course of upward development is My plan from eternity, which shall one day bring about that only the most perfect spiritual things move close to Me.... that everything is deified, as My love longs for it.... Innumerable transformations are necessary for this, innumerable stages of development shall bring about this work of divinization, as My wisdom recognized as once bringing success. This plan required eternities, and it can take a being eternities until it can stay close to Me as deified. Earthly life as a human being is only a tiny fraction of this time of development, yet for you humans an inconceivably long time preceded this existence as a human being, during which the soul substances first had to find each other and unite, for the creation of nature previously kept all these little particles inside and did not release them until My eternal plan of salvation allowed it.... Although the spiritual was bound by My will in My creation, yet this spiritual itself determined the duration of its stay in each individual work of creation through its resistance or the relinquishment of its resistance, and accordingly I loosened its fetters.... I bound it into ever more easily dissolvable forms, until finally the change of external forms followed one another ever more rapidly.... which becomes explainable through the constant becoming and passing away in the animal and plant world, whose new creations again and again take up the spiritual, which is close to the last embodiment as a human being.... In these last phases before the embodiment as a human being, the spiritual itself already pushes towards its liberation from form and also serves, even if not yet fully consciously. This degree of development can be recognized in the 'life' in nature.... For everything that testifies to life is active and uses the power flowing towards it..... And thus everything 'living', but especially the animal world, has reached this degree of development, which reveals reduced resistance.... which allows the deformation as a human being to take the final test of will....

(24.10.1953) But now every living being is also given a serving task.... no matter in which degree of development it stands.... Every spiritual being that walks through creation in the law of compulsion fulfils a serving purpose.... it contributes to the preservation and existence of other works of creation and is therefore active in a constructive sense, but it can also still serve with the dedication of its form, which at the same time earns it a higher level of development.... a new deformation for the purpose of faster maturing.... A constant coming into being and passing away can be observed in creation, partly due to nature, partly due to natural instincts which are placed into the living beings as divine law, but which.... because they correspond to My eternal plan, must not be regarded negatively, even if it appears to be cruelty and a threat to the weak creature which is unable to defend itself.... As long as the spiritual being is in a state of compulsion, any destruction of the outer form means for it liberation from the bondage and progress in the course of development. However, it must be taken into account which motive underlies the destruction of a form.... Every transformation of matter which contains spiritual things must be able to show the motive of expediency for the good of fellow human beings, otherwise it is an unlawful destruction which has an unfavourable effect on the spiritual and serious consequences for the destroyer.... The purpose and aim of the transformation of an external form must always testify to the human being's love for his fellow human being.... Then the process of transformation will also have a beneficial effect.... And likewise outer forms of living beings can also be destroyed, entirely in accordance with My principle of love, if the purpose of this is to gain constructive substances which again secure the life of other beings.... For My creations were created for each other so that one may serve the other for preservation.... Every work of creation, including the living beings, has been assigned a purpose which therefore also ensures the spiritual's progress. No work of creation is only created for itself, and the first and last purpose is the spiritual's ascent development, which is why a dissolution of the respective form is an imperative necessity.... which I certainly also determined in terms of time, but My wisdom also gave these dissolutions infinitely many causes.... and also determined the living beings themselves to be executors of My plan.... that therefore not infrequently one ends the life of the other. (25.10.1953) No process takes place in the whole universe without My knowledge, and all processes in natural life.... in creation, which contains the spiritual that still walks in the law of compulsion.... are determined by My will; whereas in the state of free will the human being himself is now also determining and he now acts more or less in accordance with My will, yet he is also not prevented from carrying out what he wants.... And now, therefore, forms can be dissolved again through human will which still envelop the bound spiritual.... be it hard matter or also plants and animals.... in fact everything that does not yet have free will itself. And now the motive of these dissolutions is decisive, whether they are approved by Me, whether they correspond to My will.... Every work of creation is intended to be of service, every work of creation is intended to benefit another.

But how do you explain the innumerable small and smallest living creatures which literally mean a plague for people? And yet they are also My works?.... These living beings also have a task: To receive spiritual substances into themselves which are still unwilling to serve.... which have certainly already covered an infinitely long course of development, thus in terms of time they have reached the stage where they should be active, which still offer resistance which they now express in a certain kind of negative activity by being destructively active.... by accelerating the passing away of works of creation.... and indirectly contributing again to the dissolution of form.... But such destructions, caused by so-called pests, appear unlawful to people and therefore they take action against them.... which is also in My will again, because they only aim for an improvement, because they want to protect themselves and their fellow human beings against unfavourable effects and at the same time they now dissolve the deformation of these substances again. The dissolution of every form in order to release the bound spiritual substance is necessary for its course of development, only the motive has to be good, it has to be connected with a serving purpose again, then it has My approval and is a blessing for humanity. For everything that is recognized as harmful, everything that causes havoc in the plant or animal kingdom, is the bearer of still evil spiritual substances which want to let off steam and are therefore repeatedly bound into new forms until they have calmed down, and which is therefore ultimately grateful for the destruction of the form through human will.... It was not arbitrariness which moved Me to create those harmful living beings.... These, too, are active as power stations in the great process of redemption, and they also serve to repel bad impulses, whereby other creations, including the human being, can indeed be affected in a painful or unpleasant way, but they, in turn, can now also mature again as soon as they react correctly to it.... thus help when it is necessary to protect other people or animals from it or to patiently and devotedly take on the small mishaps of life. Everything happens according to the law in the universe, even if it appears to people that they themselves act differently, i.e. take unlawful precautions.... Only the will of the human being is decisive as to how his thoughts and actions will one day be accounted to him.... Yet the course of development of every being has been predetermined since eternity, and even the human being's works of wrong will are taken into account and their effect is always guided by Me such that it serves the best of the upwardly striving spirits....

해충의 목적. 파괴의 동기.

이 땅의 모든 일은 단지 영적으로 온전하게 되는 일에 도움을 준다. 높이 성장하는 과정은 언젠가 성취가 될 내 영원한 계획이고, 이 계획은 단지 온전한 영적인 존재가 내 가까이에서 살게 하는 일이고, 내 사랑이 갈망하는 대로 모든 존재가 하나님처럼 되게 하는 일이다. 이를 위해 무수히 많은 변형이 필요하고, 내 지혜가 언젠가 성공할 것으로 깨달은 수많은 성장 단계가 이런 하나님처럼 되게 하는 일을 이룰 것이다. 이 계획을 위해 영원한 시간이 필요하고, 존재는 하나님처럼 되어 내 가까이에서 거하는 일을 이룰 때까지 이 영원한 시간을 활용할 수 있다. 인간으로 이 땅에서 사는 기간은 성장기간의 아주 작은 일부분에 불과하지만, 너희가 인간으로 존재하기까지 너희 사람들이 이해할 수 없는 오랜 기간이 존재했다.

비록 영적인 존재가 내 의지에 의해 내 창조물 안에 묶여 있지만, 영적인 존재 자신이 그의 저항을 통해 또는 그의 저항을 포기하는 일을 통해 각각의 창조물 안에서 머무르는 기간을 정하고, 이에 따라 그 속박이 느슨해지게 된다. 나는 존재가 항상 더 분해하기 쉬운 형체 안으로 묶임을 받게 하고, 결국에는 겉 형체의 계속되는 변화가 더 빠르게 진행되게 한다. 이를 통해 동물의 세계와 식물의 세계에서 끊임없이 성장하고 쇠퇴하는 일을 설명할 수 있고, 존재가 인간으로 최종적으로 육신을 입는 일에 가까이 다가가기까지 새로운 창조물이 항상 또 다시 영적인 존재를 받아드린다.

인간으로 육신을 입기 전의 마지막 단계에서 영적인 존재 자신이 형체로부터 자유롭게 되는 일을 향해 다가가고, 영적인 존재 자신이 이미 완전히 의식하지 못할지라도 형체로부터 자유롭게 되는 일을 위해 섬긴다. 이 정도의 성장을 자연의 생명에서 깨달을 수 있다. 왜냐면 생명을 증거하는 모든 것은 활동하고, 그에게 흐르는 힘을 사용하기 때문이다. 그러므로 생명이 있는 모든 존재는, 특히 동물의 세계에서는 저항이 감소되는 수준의 성장에 도달하고, 이런 수준이 마지막 의지의 시험을 치르기 위해 인간으로 형체를 입도록 허용받게 한다.

(1953년 10월 24일) 그러나 생명체가 어떤 성장정도에 있는 지와 관계가 없이 모든 생명체에게 이제 섬기는 과제가 주어지고, 의무의 단계 아래 섬기는 목적을 위해 창조물의 과정을 가는 모든 영적인 존재가 이 과제를 성취시킨다. 영적인 존재는 다른 창조물을 보존하고 유지하는 일에 기여한다. 그러므로 영적인 존재는 건설적인 의미로 활동하고, 자신의 형체를 희생하는 일을 통해 섬길 수 있고, 동시에 영적인 존재가 더 높은 성장 단계에 들어가게 된다. 즉 영적인 존재가 빠른 성장을 위해 새로운 형체를 입게 된다.

창조물이 부분적으로는 자연에 의해, 부분적으로는 하나님의 법대로 생명체 안에 넣어준 자연의 본능에 의해 지속적으로 존재하다가 사라지는 일을 관찰할 수 있다. 이런 일은 영원한 내 계획과 일치하고, 비록 존재하다가 사라지는 일이 잔인하고, 방어할 능력이 없는 연약한 존재들에게 위태롭게 보일지라도, 부정적으로 여겨서는 안 된다. 영적인 존재가 의무의 상태에 있는 동안에는, 겉 형체의 모든 파괴는 영적인 존재에게 속박에서 벗어나 성장과정에서 진보하는 일을 의미한다. 그러나 어떤 동기로 형체를 파괴하는 지에 주의를 기울여야만 한다.

영적인 존재를 담고 있는 물질의 모든 변형의 목적이 이웃의 유익을 위한 것임을 보여줄 수 있어야만 한다. 그렇지 않은 불법적으로 물질을 파괴하는 일은 영적인 존재에게 불리한 일이고, 파괴하는 일이 심각한 결과를 초래하게 된다. 겉형체를 변화시키는 목적과 목표가 항상 이웃을 향한 인간의 사랑임을 나타내야만 하고 그러면 변화시키는 과정이 유익한 영향을 미칠 것이다. 마찬가지로 파괴하는 목적이 다른 존재의 생명을 다시 보장하는 물질을 얻기 위한 일이면, 전적으로 내 사랑 원칙에 따라 생명체의 겉형체가 파괴될 수 있다. 왜냐면 내 창조물은 서로를 위해 한 존재가 다른 존재의 보존을 위해 섬기도록 창조되었기 때문이다.

생명체를 포함한 모든 창조물에게 사명이 부여되었고, 이로써 또한 영적인 존재의 성장이 보장받는다. 어떤 창조물도 자신을 위해서만 창조되지 않았고, 첫 번째 목적과 마지막 목적은 영적인 존재의 성장을 위한 일이었다. 그러므로 각각의 형체가 해체되는 일은 필수적인 일이고, 내가 또한 기간을 정해주었고, 내 지혜가 또한 이런 해체되는 일에 많은 원인을 제공하고, 생명체 자신이 또한 내 계획을 수행하는 일을 행한다. 즉 드물지 않게 한 생명체가 다른 생명체의 삶을 끝낸다.

(1953년 10월 25일) 우주 전체에서 내가 알지 못하는 가운데 어떤 일도 일어나지 않는다. 자연의 삶의 모든 과정과 의무의 법 아래 있는 영적인 존재를 품고 있는 창조물 안의 모든 과정이 내 의지에 의해 정함을 받는다. 반면에 자유의지의 상태에 있는 사람은 이제 스스로 결정을 하고, 그는 이제 크거나 적게 내 의지를 따라 행한다. 그러나 그가 원하는 일을 수행하는 일을 막을 수 없다. 굳은 물질이거나 또는 식물이거나 동물이든지 간에 아직 묶임을 받고 있고, 아직 자유의지가 없는 모든 영적인 존재를 담고 있는 겉형체가 이제 인간의 의지를 통해 다시 해체될 수 있다. 이런 해체를 내가 좋게 여길지, 내 뜻에 일치하는 지는 해체하는 동기가 결정적인 역활을 한다.

모든 창조물은 섬기는 일을 하도록 정함을 받고, 모든 창조물은 다른 창조물에게 유익을 줘야 한다. 그러나 너희는 사람들에게 진정한 의미로 해를 끼치는 무수히 많은 작고, 가장 작은 생명체를 어떻게 설명해야 하느냐? 이런 작은 생명체들도 또한 내 작품이 아니냐? 이런 생명체들에게도 또한 사명이 부여되어 있고, 그들의 사명은 아직 섬기기를 꺼려하는 영적인 존재를 흡수하는 일이다. 이런 영적인 존재는 이미 끝없이 긴 성장과정을 거쳤고, 시간적으로 그들이 활동해야 할 단계에 도달했지만, 그러나 아직 저항하고, 그들이 어떤 의미에서 파괴적인 일을 하고, 창조물이 해체되는 일이 빠르게 일어나게 하고, 간접적으로 형체가 분해되는 일에 이제 기여하면서 부정적인 효력을 나타낸다.

그러나 사람들에게 소위 해충으로 인한 파괴가 불법적으로 보이고, 사람들은 해충을 퇴치한다. 이런 일은 또한 내 뜻이다. 왜냐면 사람들이 또한 단지 개선을 목표로 하기 때문이고, 사람들이 자신과 이웃을 불리한 영향으로부터 보호하고, 동시에 사람들이 이런 입자들의 형체를 분해시키기 때문이다. 그 안에 거하는 묶임을 받은 영적인 존재의 해방을 위해 형체를 해체시키는 모든 일은 영적인 존재의 성장과정을 위해 필요한 일이다. 해체하는 일의 동기가 단지 선해야만 하고, 다시 섬기는 목적과 연관되어 있어야만 하고 그러면 내 동의를 얻고 인류를 위해 축복이 된다. 왜냐면 피해를 입히는 것으로 인식되는 모든 것과 식물의 세계와 동물의 세계를 파괴하는 모든 것은 아직 악한 영적인 존재를 담고 있는 것이기 때문이다. 악한 영적인 존재는 날뛰기를 원하고 그러므로 그들이 온순해질 때까지 항상 또 다시 새로운 형체 안으로 묶임을 받게 되고, 그러므로 악한 영적인 존재는 사람의 의지에 의해 형체가 파괴되는 일에 결국에는 감사한다.

내가 그 해로운 생명체를 창조하게 만든 일은 내가 맘대로 행한 일이 아니었다. 이런 생명채들도 큰 구원의 과정에서 힘의 저장소로서 활동하고, 그들은 또한 악한 본능을 물리치게 하는 역할을 한다. 이를 통해 인간을 포함한 다른 창조물들이 고통스럽게 되거나 또는 불쾌하게 될 수 있지만 그러나 그들이 이에 올바르게 반응하면, 그들 편에서 또한 다시 성장할 수 있다. 즉 이웃이나 동물을 피해로부터 보호하기 위한 일이거나 또는 삶의 작은 불편함을 인내하고 헌신적으로 감당하는 일이면, 그들에게 도움을 줄 수 있다.

비록 우주의 모든 일이 다르게 행동하는 것처럼 보일지라도, 즉 불법적인 조치를 취하는 것처럼 보일지라도, 우주의 모든 일은 법칙에 따라 일어난다. 사람의 생각과 행동이 언젠가 그에게 어떤 인정을 받을 지는 단지 그의 의지가 결정적인 역활을 한다. 그러나 모든 존재의 성장과정은 영원으로부터 예정되어 있고, 또한 잘못된 의지로 행해진 인간의 역사도 고려되어 있고, 내가 항상 그런 역사의 효과가 높이 성장하기 위해 추구하는 영적인 존재에게 최선이 되게 인도한다.
