The spirit's efficacy....

It is the effectiveness of the spirit that you strive towards Me again and again, that you have made it your task to fulfil My will and now also adjust your earthly life according to this task, that you don't just live for the world but feel a spiritual life in this world which brings you ever closer to Me. The spirit from Me is active in you, and everything you now want, think and do has been influenced by the spirit in you. Thus you must now mature spiritually, for My working of the spirit is a strength which inexorably pushes you upwards. All people who are serious about the fulfilment of My will can therefore feel inspired by My spirit, I Myself can now be active in them because My spirit is My share from eternity.

It is a sure sign of My working in a person when he listens to spiritual speeches, engages in spiritual debates and often mentally occupies himself with Me, the creator and sustainer of everything that surrounds the human being. Anyone who thinks of Me and tries to fathom Me will also be influenced by My spirit, for I take hold of every person who turns his thoughts towards Me and he will hardly be released from My hands again, for they hold him with love and bestow gifts upon him which he will no longer want to miss once he has received them. And to confirm this I also speak to him when he listens within and asks Me questions in his thoughts. Then he certainly believes that he can answer his own thoughts and does not know that I Myself give him the thought because he seriously longs for the truth. And thus a person can build up a spiritual kingdom within himself in the midst of the world, provided he pays more attention to this kingdom than to the world.... provided he therefore seeks Me and My kingdom.... Then he also takes possession of My kingdom, only in the belief that he has to set himself a task which entitles him to feel like an aspirant of My kingdom. And this thought, too, is the working of My spirit, because it stimulates the human being's will into right activity. Then his thinking will be bright and clear, and he will also receive according to his achievement and his will to achieve.... spiritual good in abundance.... His thinking will correspond to truth, and therefore he will also be able to transfer it to his fellow human beings, and thus his task has now also become comprehensible to him: to impart spiritual good to his fellow human being which My spirit has supplied to him. And this task delights and satisfies him. His whole life is now filled with the endeavour to be active for Me and My kingdom, to help his fellow human beings attain the brightness of spirit which makes him so happy that he is urged to provide his fellow human beings with the same happiness. For where My spirit is active there is no standstill of activity, instead, constant work begins for Me and My kingdom in order to make contact with Me Myself, because the spirit constantly pushes out of Me towards Me....

Des Geistes Wirksamkeit....

Das ist des Geistes Wirksamkeit, daß ihr immer wieder aufs neue Mir zustrebt, daß ihr es euch zur Aufgabe gesetzt habt, Meinen Willen zu erfüllen, und nun dieser Aufgabe gemäß auch euer Erdenleben einstellt, daß ihr nicht nur für die Welt lebt, sondern ein geistiges Leben in dieser Welt fühlt, das euch immer näherbringt zu Mir. Es ist der Geist aus Mir in euch tätig, und alles, was ihr nun wollet, denkt und tut, ist durch den Geist in euch beeinflußt worden. Somit müsset ihr nun geistig reifen, denn Meines Geistes Wirken ist eine Kraft, die unaufhaltsam zur Höhe treibt. Alle Menschen, denen es ernst ist um die Erfüllung Meines Willens, können sich also von Meinem Geist angeregt fühlen, Ich Selbst kann nun in denen tätig sein, weil Mein Geist Mein Anteil ist von Ewigkeit.

Ein sicheres Zeichen Meines Wirkens im Menschen ist es, wenn dieser geistigen Reden lauschet, geistige Debatten führt und sich oft gedanklich mit Mir befasset, dem Schöpfer und Erhalter dessen, was den Menschen umgibt. Wer an Mich denkt und Mich zu ergründen sucht, in dem wirket auch Mein Geist, denn Ich erfasse einen jeden Menschen, der Mir seine Gedanken zuwendet, und er wird schwerlich wieder aus Meinen Händen freikommen, denn sie halten ihn mit Liebe und teilen ihm Gaben aus, die er nicht mehr missen will, so er sie einmal empfangen hat. Und zur Bekräftigung dessen spreche Ich ihn auch an, wenn er nach innen horchet und Mir Fragen in Gedanken stellt. Dann glaubt er wohl, sich selbst die Gedanken zu beantworten, und weiß es nicht, daß Ich Selbst ihm den Gedanken eingebe, weil er ernstlich nach der Wahrheit verlangte. Und so kann ein Mensch inmitten der Welt ein geistiges Reich in sich aufbauen, sofern er diesem Reich mehr Aufmerksamkeit schenkt als der Welt.... sofern er also Mich und Mein Reich suchet.... Dann nimmt er auch von Meinem Reich Besitz, erst im Glauben, sich selbst eine Aufgabe setzen zu müssen, die ihn berechtigt, sich als Anwärter Meines Reiches zu fühlen. Und auch dieser Gedanke ist Wirken Meines Geistes, weil dadurch der Wille des Menschen angeregt wird zu rechter Tätigkeit. Dann wird sein Denken hell und klar sein, und er wird entsprechend seiner Leistung und seinem Leistungswillen auch empfangen.... geistiges Gut im Übermaß.... Sein Denken wird der Wahrheit entsprechen, und darum wird er es auch übertragen können auf die Mitmenschen, und also ist ihm nun auch seine Aufgabe verständlich geworden: dem Mitmenschen geistiges Gut zu vermitteln, das ihm Mein Geist zugeführt hat. Und diese Aufgabe erfreut und befriedigt ihn. Sein ganzes Leben ist nun ausgefüllt von dem Bestreben, tätig zu sein für Mich und Mein Reich, den Mitmenschen zu verhelfen zur Helligkeit des Geistes, die ihn selbst so beglückt, daß es ihn drängt, das gleiche Glück den Mitmenschen zu verschaffen. Denn wo Mein Geist wirket, dort ist kein Stillstand der Tätigkeit, sondern ein unentwegtes Arbeiten setzt ein für Mich und Mein Reich, um mit Mir Selbst in Verbindung zu treten, weil der Geist aus Mir unaufhörlich Mir entgegendrängt....
