Promise of Jesus: eternal life....

You shall live for ever and ever.... But life can only be promised to you by Him Who is lord over life and death, Who Himself is life from eternity and Who has conquered death.... Jesus Christ, the son of God and redeemer of the world, Who came forth from the strength of the most high as an independent being, equipped with strength in full measure, Whose love moved Him to bare His strength and, as a weak helpless human being on earth, Who was subject to the law of death, to fight against death and to defeat it in order to liberate all people held captive by satan from his bondage. For death had been brought into the world by satan. Death is a powerless dark state that is the consequence of the former sin against God.... Light and strength mean life, powerlessness and darkness, on the other hand, condemn the being to stagnation in inactivity. People on earth would have to expect this rigid state after their physical life, they would sink hopelessly into darkness and would not be able to free themselves from it.... they would face eternal death unless a saviour approached them Who was stronger than death, Who was able to defeat it and give people the life again which they had possessed in the beginning as spiritual beings and which they had lost through the sin of their former rebellion against God.... (16.11.1951) Life had been lost to them, i.e. everything that enabled them to be happily active, for life is incessant activity according to wise law; life is the use of divine strength according to divine principle and therefore a state of unlimited bliss.

Jesus Christ promises this life to all people, but under certain conditions. He can certainly give life, but people must also desire it and do everything to make themselves worthy of true life, of life in the spiritual kingdom. They must want out of the state of death, they must take possession of the strength which secures eternal life for them, they must make contact with the source of strength, they must fight the death of their souls with Jesus Christ and defeat it, which is only possible with Jesus Christ. For it is the death of the soul they must fear, because the death of the body is unimportant, but the soul, the essence in the human being, does not perish, only in a state of complete lack of strength and light, i.e. spiritual death, it can become a slave to immeasurable, endless torment....

But you shall live.... What comforting words these are for you humans.... Jesus Christ does not want you to meet death, He wants you to live, and He has promised you this life.... because He alone can give it to you, Who has overcome death. But your will is free.... Don't forget that you can achieve everything, that there is nothing impossible, that Jesus Christ has also shown you all ways and means, but that you must want it yourselves, because what is to make you blissfully happy cannot be given to you against your will. Eternal life is the most beautiful promise He could give you, that all fear of death will disappear, that an unspeakably blissful future lies ahead of you which will last forever if you want it yourselves and fulfil the conditions Jesus Christ attached to His promise.... that you believe in Him.... For then you will comply with all His words, you will fulfil His commandments, you will live according to His divine teaching of love and accumulate divine strength within yourselves, love will awaken you to life even if the body's strength weakens and your shell approaches bodily death. The soul will then release itself, it will break through the barrier of death with all its strength, it will free itself from the bonds of the one who wanted to give you death, it will become blissfully aware of its strength and now be able to be constantly active, the spiritual kingdom will receive it where there is only life, where all beingness is active in God's will, where new life is constantly generated, where there is eternally no more death.... where everything is blissfully happy in and with Jesus Christ....

La Promessa di Gesù: la Vita eterna

Dovete vivere nell’Eternità. Ma promettervi la Vita può soltanto Colui, il Quale E’ il Signore sulla Vita e sulla morte, il Quale Egli Stesso E’ la Vita dall’Eternità, Che ha vinto la morte. Gesù Cristo, il Figlio di Dio e Redentore del mondo, il Quale è proceduto dalla Forza dell’Onnipotente come Essere autonomo, provvisto di Forza in piena misura, il Cui Amore Lo ha mosso a privarsi della Sua Forza, e da Uomo debole inerme sulla Terra, che era sottoposto alla legge della morte, a combattere contro la morte e di vincerla, per liberare dalla schiavitù di Satana tutti gli uomini che costui teneva prigionieri. Perché la morte era stata portata nel mondo da Satana.

La morte è uno stato oscuro d’impotenza, che è la conseguenza del peccato d’un tempo contro Dio. La Luce e la Forza significano la Vita, l’assenza di Forza ed oscurità invece condanna l’essere ad un irrigidimento nell’inattività. Gli uomini sulla Terra avrebbero da aspettarsi questo stato irrigidito dopo la loro vita terrena, sprofonderebbero senza speranza nell’oscurità e non potrebbero liberarsene, andrebbero incontro all’eterna morte, se non si avvicinasse loro un Salvatore, Che Era più forte della morte, il Quale la poteva vincere e Che ha dato agli uomini di nuovo la Vita, che nel principio avevano posseduta come esseri spirituali e che è andata perduta tramite il peccato della ribellione d’un tempo contro Dio. Avevano perduto la Vita, cioè tutto ciò che li rendeva capaci alla felice attività, perché la Vita è ininterrotta attività secondo la saggia Legge; la Vita è l’impiego della divina Forza secondo il Principio divino e perciò uno stato di illimitata Beatitudine.

Ora Gesù Cristo promette questa Vita a tutti gli uomini, ma a certe condizioni. Egli può bensì dare la Vita, ma gli uomini la devono anche desiderare e fare di tutto, per rendersi degni della vera Vita, della Vita nel Regno spirituale. Devono voler uscire dallo stato di morte, devono prendere in possesso la Forza che assicura loro una Vita eterna, devono entrare in contatto con la Fonte di Forza, devono combattere con Gesù Cristo contro la morte delle loro anime e vincerla, che è possibile soltanto con Gesù Cristo. Perché è la morte dell’anima che devono temere, perché la morte del corpo non è importante, ma l’anima, il reale nell’uomo, non passa, può soltanto cadere nello stato di totale assenza di Luce e Forza, alla morte spirituale per un tormento incommensurabile, infinito.

Ma voi dovete vivere. Quali Parole confortanti sono queste per voi uomini! Gesù Cristo non vuole che andiate incontro alla morte, Egli vuole che voi viviate, ed Egli vi ha promesso questa Vita, perché unicamente Lui ve la può dare, il Quale ha vinto la morte. Ma la vostra volontà è libera. Non dimenticate che potete ottenere tutto, che non esiste nulla di impossibile, che Gesù Cristo vi ha anche indicato tutti i mezzi e vie, ma che voi stessi dovete volere, perché ciò che vi deve rendere beati, non vi può essere dato contro la vostra volontà.

Una Vita eterna è la più bella Promessa che Egli vi può dare, che sparisce ogni paura della morte, perché davanti a voi si trova un futuro indicibilmente beato, che dura all’infinito, se voi stessi lo volete ed adempite le condizioni che Gesù Cristo ha legato alla Sua Promessa, che voi crediate in Lui. Perché allora seguirete tutte le Sue Parole, adempirete i Suoi Comandamenti, vivrete secondo la Sua divina Dottrina dell’Amore ed accumulerete in voi la Forza divina, l’amore vi risveglierà alla Vita, anche quando la forza corporea diminuisce ed il vostro involucro va incontro alla morte corporea.

Allora l’anima si staccherà, spezzerà con tutta la Forza la barriera della morte, si libererà dai legami di colui, che vi voleva dare la morte, si renderà conto nello stato più beato della sua Forza ed ora potrà essere ininterrottamente attiva, il Regno spirituale l’accoglierà, dov’è soltanto la Vita, dove tutto l’essenziale è attivo nella Volontà di Dio, dove viene generata continuamente nuova Vita, dove non esiste più in eterno nessuna morte, dove tutto è beato in e con Gesù Cristo.
