Promise of Jesus: eternal life....

You shall live for ever and ever.... But life can only be promised to you by Him Who is lord over life and death, Who Himself is life from eternity and Who has conquered death.... Jesus Christ, the son of God and redeemer of the world, Who came forth from the strength of the most high as an independent being, equipped with strength in full measure, Whose love moved Him to bare His strength and, as a weak helpless human being on earth, Who was subject to the law of death, to fight against death and to defeat it in order to liberate all people held captive by satan from his bondage. For death had been brought into the world by satan. Death is a powerless dark state that is the consequence of the former sin against God.... Light and strength mean life, powerlessness and darkness, on the other hand, condemn the being to stagnation in inactivity. People on earth would have to expect this rigid state after their physical life, they would sink hopelessly into darkness and would not be able to free themselves from it.... they would face eternal death unless a saviour approached them Who was stronger than death, Who was able to defeat it and give people the life again which they had possessed in the beginning as spiritual beings and which they had lost through the sin of their former rebellion against God.... (16.11.1951) Life had been lost to them, i.e. everything that enabled them to be happily active, for life is incessant activity according to wise law; life is the use of divine strength according to divine principle and therefore a state of unlimited bliss.

Jesus Christ promises this life to all people, but under certain conditions. He can certainly give life, but people must also desire it and do everything to make themselves worthy of true life, of life in the spiritual kingdom. They must want out of the state of death, they must take possession of the strength which secures eternal life for them, they must make contact with the source of strength, they must fight the death of their souls with Jesus Christ and defeat it, which is only possible with Jesus Christ. For it is the death of the soul they must fear, because the death of the body is unimportant, but the soul, the essence in the human being, does not perish, only in a state of complete lack of strength and light, i.e. spiritual death, it can become a slave to immeasurable, endless torment....

But you shall live.... What comforting words these are for you humans.... Jesus Christ does not want you to meet death, He wants you to live, and He has promised you this life.... because He alone can give it to you, Who has overcome death. But your will is free.... Don't forget that you can achieve everything, that there is nothing impossible, that Jesus Christ has also shown you all ways and means, but that you must want it yourselves, because what is to make you blissfully happy cannot be given to you against your will. Eternal life is the most beautiful promise He could give you, that all fear of death will disappear, that an unspeakably blissful future lies ahead of you which will last forever if you want it yourselves and fulfil the conditions Jesus Christ attached to His promise.... that you believe in Him.... For then you will comply with all His words, you will fulfil His commandments, you will live according to His divine teaching of love and accumulate divine strength within yourselves, love will awaken you to life even if the body's strength weakens and your shell approaches bodily death. The soul will then release itself, it will break through the barrier of death with all its strength, it will free itself from the bonds of the one who wanted to give you death, it will become blissfully aware of its strength and now be able to be constantly active, the spiritual kingdom will receive it where there is only life, where all beingness is active in God's will, where new life is constantly generated, where there is eternally no more death.... where everything is blissfully happy in and with Jesus Christ....

Verheißung Jesu: Ewiges Leben....

Ihr sollet leben in Ewigkeit.... Leben verheißen kann euch aber nur Der, Der ein Herr ist über Leben und Tod, Der Selbst das Leben ist von Ewigkeit und Der den Tod überwunden hat.... Jesus Christus, der Sohn Gottes und Erlöser der Welt, Der hervorgegangen ist aus der Kraft des Allerhöchsten als selbständiges Wesen, ausgerüstet mit Kraft im Vollmaß, Dessen Liebe Ihn bewog, Sich Seiner Kraft zu entblößen und als schwacher hilfloser Mensch auf Erden, Der dem Gesetz des Todes unterworfen war, wider den Tod zu kämpfen und ihn zu besiegen, um aus der Knechtschaft des Satans zu befreien alle Menschen, die dieser gefangenhielt. Denn der Tod war vom Satan in die Welt getragen worden. Der Tod ist ein kraftloser finsterer Zustand, der Folge ist der einstigen Sünde wider Gott.... Licht und Kraft bedeutet Leben, Kraftlosigkeit und Finsternis dagegen verurteilt das Wesen zu einem Erstarren in Untätigkeit. Die Menschen auf Erden hätten diesen starren Zustand nach ihrem Leibesleben zu gewärtigen, sie versänken hoffnungslos in die Finsternis und könnten sich selbst nicht daraus befreien.... sie gingen dem ewigen Tode entgegen, wenn sich ihnen nicht ein Retter nahte, Der stärker war als der Tod, Der ihn besiegen konnte und den Menschen wieder das Leben gab, das sie uranfänglich als geistige Wesen besessen hatten und das ihnen durch die Sünde der einstigen Auflehnung gegen Gott verlorenging.... (16.11.1951) Das Leben war ihnen verlorengegangen, d.h. alles, was sie zu beglückender Tätigkeit befähigte, denn Leben ist unentwegte Tätigkeit nach weisem Gesetz; Leben ist Verwenden göttlicher Kraft nach göttlichem Prinzip und darum ein Zustand unbegrenzter Seligkeit.

Dieses Leben nun verheißet Jesus Christus allen Menschen, jedoch unter gewissen Bedingungen. Er kann wohl das Leben geben, doch die Menschen müssen es auch begehren und alles tun, um sich des wahren Lebens, des Lebens im geistigen Reich, würdig zu machen. Sie müssen aus dem Zustand des Todes heraus wollen, sie müssen die Kraft, die ihnen ein ewiges Leben sichert, in Besitz nehmen, sie müssen mit dem Kraftquell in Verbindung treten, sie müssen mit Jesus Christus gegen den Tod ihrer Seelen ankämpfen und ihn besiegen, was nur mit Jesus Christus möglich ist. Denn es ist der Tod der Seele, den sie fürchten müssen, weil der Tod des Leibes unwichtig ist, aber die Seele, das Eigentliche im Menschen, vergeht nicht, nur kann sie im Zustand völliger Kraft- und Lichtlosigkeit, also dem geistigen Tode verfallen sein zu unermeßlicher, endloser Qual....

Ihr aber sollet leben.... Welch trostreiche Worte sind dies für euch Menschen.... Jesus Christus will nicht, daß ihr dem Tode entgegengehet, Er will, daß ihr lebet, und Er hat euch dieses Leben verheißen.... weil Er allein es euch geben kann, Der den Tod überwunden hat. Doch euer Wille ist frei.... Das vergesset nicht, daß ihr alles erreichen könnet, daß es nichts Unmögliches gibt, daß Jesus Christus euch auch alle Mittel und Wege angezeigt hat, daß ihr aber selbst wollen müsset, weil euch nicht wider euren Willen gegeben werden kann, was euch selig machen soll. Ein ewiges Leben ist die schönste Verheißung, die Er euch geben konnte, daß jegliche Furcht vor dem Tode schwindet, daß vor euch eine unsagbar selige Zukunft liegt, die endlos währet, so ihr selbst es wollet und die Bedingungen erfüllet, die Jesus Christus an Seine Verheißung geknüpft hat.... daß ihr an Ihn glaubet.... Denn dann werdet ihr allen Seinen Worten Folge leisten, ihr werdet Seine Gebote erfüllen, ihr werdet nach Seiner göttlichen Liebelehre leben und in euch die göttliche Kraft anhäufen, die Liebe wird euch zum Leben erwecken, auch wenn die Körperkraft nachlässet und eure Hülle dem leiblichen Tode entgegengeht. Die Seele wird sich dann lösen, sie wird in aller Kraft die Schranke des Todes durchbrechen, sie wird sich frei machen aus den Banden dessen, der euch den Tod geben wollte, sie wird sich seligst bewußt werden ihrer Kraft und nun unentwegt tätig sein können, das geistige Reich wird sie aufnehmen, wo nur Leben ist, wo alles Wesenhafte im Willen Gottes tätig ist, wo ständig neues Leben erzeugt wird, wo es ewig keinen Tod mehr gibt.... wo alles in und mit Jesus Christus selig ist....
