Awakening the spiritual spark in man - love....

The divine spark in the human being has no igniting power as long as it rests in a heart that is cold with love. For it is only the warmth of love that awakens it to life, it is, as it were, ignited by love, thus only a person who is active in love can awaken this spark in himself. And thus it is also understandable that in the last time before the end, in which people are already standing, there are only few spirit-awakened people, because only little love is practiced and thus the human being remains without life, even though he still dwells on earth. For to live means to be active through the impetus of the spiritual spark in the human being, and always in accordance with God's will, because the spiritual spark in the human being is in contact with the father-spirit from eternity and thus will only present to the human being what is truly truth, thus also corresponds to God's will. But once the spiritual spark has awakened in the human being it constantly drives him towards the aim, for the spark, once it flares up into a flame, can no longer go out because God Himself now feeds the flame and something purely divine, once it has become effective, can never sink back into the state of death because the connection with the father-spirit was established when the spiritual spark awakened to life. This bond is no longer dissolved but becomes ever firmer and more intimate through the love to which the divine spirit constantly impels. The awakening to spiritual life is the most important thing in earthly life, for then a change occurs, the path which was previously flat or led into the abyss now goes upwards to the height and leads towards the most glorious aim. But it is a long way to perfection, because first the dross around the soul has to be dissolved before the spiritual spark can be so effective that it is recognized without doubt as God's emanation. The spiritual rebirth has therefore certainly taken place as soon as the spiritual spark awoke to life, but now it first has to unite with the soul until it completely hands itself over to divine guidance, thus eagerly seeks to fulfil God's will. Thus the human being now leads a second life next to the earthly life.... and this is the soul's actual life, which only comes to full development in the spiritual kingdom and signifies undreamt-of activity. The activity of a perfected soul in the kingdom of light will always be an insertion into divine will, which is constantly revealed to the soul through the spirit. Spirit and soul have then become one and stand in indissoluble connection with God, the father-spirit from eternity. This is then eternal life, for an enormous field of activity now lies before such a soul, yet since it is now filled with light and strength because its spirit is constantly fed by the father-spirit its activity is indescribably blissful, for it feels united with the one Whom it loves and works and creates for Him by seeking to lead everything to Him which is still distant from God. A soul which has entered eternal life will lose all weakness, it will be in the original state again where it was able to create and shape without restriction because it has become as perfect again as it once was when it came forth from God....

사람 안의 영의 불씨가 깨어나는 일. 사랑.

하나님의 불씨는 사랑이 차가운 사람의 심장 안에 머무르는 동안에는 불을 붙일 능력이 없다. 왜냐면 사랑의 온기가 비로소 하나님의 불씨가 깨어나게 하고, 사랑을 통해 불타오르기 때문이다. 그러므로 사랑을 행하는 사람이 단지 불씨를 깨어나게 할 수 있고, 사람들이 이미 서있는 종말 전의 마지막 때에 영이 깨어난 사람이 단지 적은 이유를 이해할 수 있다. 왜냐면 사람들이 사랑을 적게 행하고 이로써 비록 그가 이 땅에 거할지라도 사랑이 없이 머물기 때문이고, 생명은 사람 안의 영의 불씨에 이끌려 항상 하나님의 뜻대로 활동하는 일을 의미하기 때문이다. 왜냐면 사람 안의 영의 불씨가 영원으로부터 아버지의 영과 연결되어 있고, 그러므로 사람들에게 단지 진정한 진리를 전할 것이고, 따라서 하나님의 뜻에 합당하기 때문이다.

그러나 사람 안에 영의 불씨가 깨어나면, 영의 불씨가 쉬지 않고 사람을 목표로 인도한다. 왜냐면 한번 불씨가 타오르면, 더 이상 꺼트릴 수 없기 때문이다. 왜냐면 하나님 자신이 이제 불이 계속 타게 하고, 순수한 신적인 것으로 키워 한번 효력을 발휘하면 절대로 죽음의 상태로 돌아갈 수 없기 때문이다. 왜냐면 영의 불씨가 생명으로 깨어날 때, 아버지 영과의 연결이 이뤄지기 때문이다. 이런 연결은 더 이상 끊어지지 않고, 사랑을 통해 항상 더 굳게 되고 긴밀하게 되어 끊임없이 하나님의 영에게 이끌기 때문이다.

영적인 삶으로 깨어나는 일은 이 땅의 삶에서 가장 중요한 일이다. 왜냐면 전에는 평탄했거나 또는 심연으로 인도하는 길이 이제 높이 성장하고 가장 영광스러운 목표를 향해 가는 변화가 일어나기 때문이다. 그러나 온전함에 이르는 길은 먼 길이다. 왜냐면 영의 불씨가 역사하여 의심하지 않고 자신을 하나님의 발산으로 깨달을 수 있게 되기 전에 먼저 혼에 붙은 모든 불순물을 제거해야만 하기 때문이다. 그러므로 영의 불씨가 깨어나면, 영의 거듭남이 실제 일어난 것이다. 그러나 혼이 자신을 전적으로 하나님의 인도에 맡길 때까지 영의 불씨가 이제 혼과 연합해야만 한다. 즉 하나님의 뜻을 이루기 위해 가장 열심히 노력해야만 한다. 그러므로 인간은 이제 이 땅의 삶에 더하여 두 번째의 삶을 살고, 두번째의 삶이 혼의 실제의 삶이고, 영의 나라에서 비로소 전적으로 성취되는 삶이 되고 예상할 수 없는 일을 하게 된다.

온전하게 된 혼이 빛의 나라에서 하는 일은 영이 항상 혼에게 계시해주는 하나님의 뜻에 순종하는 일이다. 그러므로 영과 혼이 하나가 되었고, 영원으로부터 아버지 영인 하나님과 끊을 수 없는 관계를 맺게 되고, 이런 관계가 영원한 생명이다. 왜냐면 그런 혼에게 이제 아주 큰 활동할 영역이 주어지지만 그러나 혼이 빛과 능력으로 충만하기 때문이다. 왜냐면 혼의 영은 계속해서 아버지의 영에 의해 공급을 받고, 그러므로 혼이 하는 일이 말할 수 없을 정도로 축복된 일이기 때문이다. 왜냐면 혼이 자신을 사랑하는 분과 연합이 된 것을 느끼고, 그 분을 위해 아직 하나님으로부터 멀리 있는 모든 존재들을 하나님께 인도하려고 노력하면서 역사하고 창조하기 때문이다. 영원한 생명에 도달한 혼은 모든 연약함을 벗고, 혼이 제한이 없이 역사하고 창조할 수 있었던 원래 상태가 된다. 왜냐면 혼이 한때 하나님에 의해 창조될 때처럼 다시 온전하게 되었기 때문이다.
