Patience with fellow human beings who do not strive spiritually....

Be patient.... Many a soul takes its path through life in secret opposition to Me but does not openly express its rejection and therefore first has to be urged to make an open decision. But love is and remains the only path to realization, and therefore no soul can find its way to Me which does not have love within itself. And thus you need not be surprised if a person lacks understanding for the divine word who is not permeated by love for Me and his neighbour, because he also lacks wisdom, the knowledge about the strength of love, which increases ever more the less the human being is a slave to matter.

(25.10.1950) I certainly often approach people to urge them onto the path of love, yet I respect free will at all times, and you should do the same.... always show love to each other but leave your fellow human being free to decide, for often the will to convince is precisely what determines him to reject. Anyone who has no inner connection with Me or with the spiritual kingdom through good actions or good thoughts will never be able to hear the voice from there either. For good is only that which is done completely selflessly, where no calculation or earthly advantage is striven for. The goodness of the heart inevitably leads to Me and also recognizes the father's voice, but where the intellect only examines, the judgement is not very satisfactory. Nevertheless, I say again and again: Be patient with your fellow human beings whom you cannot convince of My word. So much escapes them that you have to show them love again and again, that you should bear their faults and weaknesses with forbearance.... But persevere on your path.... Through love you gain much strength, and although strength cannot be transferred to a fellow human being at will it nevertheless enables you to do unusual deeds spiritually and earthly. And thus you must influence those by your example who are not yet as far advanced as you, and you will achieve much. Even where you are hindered in the execution of your will, your will will be valued by Me and earn you spiritual progress. But your destiny is predetermined for all of you, and truly, you can mature on earth if you don't fail of will yourselves. And precisely where you overcome resistance you will mature most quickly and one day sing praise and thanks to Me for the many opportunities I have offered you for the purpose of maturing. The will towards Me alone is decisive for the soul's degree of maturity it achieves on earth. And this will is so often tempted because the adversary does not slacken in his effort to wrest souls from Me which have already decided in favour of Me. But where the will is good, victory will also not fail to come....

영을 추구하지 않는 이웃사람들에 대한 인내.

인내하라. 많은 혼들이 비밀리에 나에게 저항하면서 그들의 인생의 길을 가고 있다. 그러나 그들은 자신의 거부를 공개적으로 말하지 않는다. 그러므로 먼저 그들에게 공개적으로 결정하도록 요구해야만 한다. 그러나 사랑은 깨달음에 도달하기 위한 유일한 길이다. 그러므로 그 안에 사랑이 없는 어떤 혼도 나를 찾을 수 없다. 그러므로 나를 향한, 이웃을 향한 사랑으로 충만하지 않은 사람이 하나님의 말씀을 이해하지 못하는 일에 대해 너희는 놀랄 필요 없다. 왜냐면 그에게 지혜가 부족하기 때문이다. 이 지혜는 사랑의 능력에 대한 지식이고, 이 사랑은 사람이 더 적게 물질의 노예일수록 항상 더 증가한다. (1950년 10월 25일)

나는 자주 사람들을 사랑의 길로 인도하기 위해, 사람들에게 다가간다. 그러나 나는 언제든지 자유의지를 존중한다. 너희도 마찬가지로 행해야 하고 항상 또 다시 사랑을 서로 간에 나눠야 한다. 그러나 사람에게 자유롭게 결정할 수 있도록 해주어야 한다. 왜냐면 확신을 갖게 해주기 원하는 일이, 오히려 자주 사람이 거절하게 만들기 때문이다. 스스로 나와 깊은 연결이 되지 않은 사람과 선한 행동과 선한 생각으로 영의 나라와 연결이 되지 않은 사람이 절대로 영의 나라로부터 오는 음성을 들을 수 없다. 선한 것은 단지 자신을 생각하지 않고 어떤 계산도 하지 않고 세상 유익을 구하지 않고 행한 일이 선한 것이다.

선한 심장은 거부할 수 없게 나에게 인도하고, 이성이 단지 시험해 보고 만족하지 못하는 곳에서 아버지의 음성을 깨닫는다. 그러나 나는 항상 다시 말한다: 너희가 나의 말에 확신을 갖게 해줄 수 없는 너희 이웃에 대해 인내하라. 그들은 많은 것을 놓쳤고 그러므로 그들에게 항상 또 다시 사랑을 베풀어야만 한다. 너희가 전적인 관대함으로 그들의 실수와 연약함을 감당해야 한다. 그러나 너희의 길을 끈기 있게 계속가라.

너희는 사랑을 통해 많은 능력을 얻을 수 있다. 비록 능력이 임의대로 이웃에게 전달될 수 없지만 그러나 이 능력은 이웃사람들을 영적인 세상적인 특별한 역사를 할 수 있게 한다. 그러므로 너희는 너희의 모범을 통해 아직 너희와 같이 성장하지 못한 그들에게 역사해야만 한다. 너희는 많은 일을 이룰 것이다. 너희가 너희의 의지를 실행하는데 방해받을 지라도, 너희의 의지는 나에 의해 인정받고, 너희가 영적 성장을 이루게 한다.

그러나 만약에 너희 자신이 의지적으로 좌절하지 않는다면, 진실로 너희가 이 땅에서 성장할 수 있도록 너희 모두에게 너희의 운명이 미리 계획되어 있다. 너희가 저항을 극복하는 곳에서 너희는 가장 빠르게 성장할 수 있고, 언젠가 너희 성장을 위해 내가 제공한 많은 기회들로 인해 나에게 사랑과 감사를 드릴 것이다. 너희가 이 땅에서 도달하는 성장 정도에 결정적인 것은 오직 나를 향한 의지이고 이 의지는 자주 시험을 받는다. 왜냐면 대적자가 이미 나를 향한 결정을 한 혼이 나를 떠나게 하기 위한 노력을 그치지 않기 때문이다. 그러나 선한 의지를 가진 사람은 성공하지 못하게 되지 않을 것이다.
