Willful decision in earthly life....

Only the decision of will is demanded of you during your earthly life, but you have to express it with your heart, not only with your mouth. The human being's will will be directed upwards or downwards, and his way of life will correspond to this will, which thus expresses the direction his will has taken. Since the will is now free from Me, the human being determines the direction of his will of his own accord, thus he is not in a state of compulsion and therefore, in order to be able to decide, must have knowledge of both aims between which he is to decide. Good and evil can be his thinking, good and evil can be his striving, good and evil are the opposite poles which exert their attraction on every human being who lives on earth. Good and evil are the forces that try to influence human thinking. But the human being has to make the decision himself and thus I have also given him the ability to recognize good and evil, thus according to his feelings his decision should be the right one, yet this feeling is dulled by opposing forces through an irritating portrayal of evil which, however, is only successful where the resistance against Me is still great. Good as well as evil can be recognized, whether it wants to be recognized is up to the human being himself, who can think and want freely in all directions. Where the adversary lures the human being with earthly advantages and successes, graces without measure are available from My side, so that the battle between good and evil can never be called unequal and even the most primitive human being can just as well give the right direction to the will as the intellectually extremely superior one, for which My justice and My love is a guarantee. Yet the slightest affection for evil gives the adversary tremendous power which he uses in a frightening way, just as, conversely, the slightest devotion of the will to Me guarantees an extraordinary influx of grace in order to withstand all temptations and onslaughts of the adversary. The human being has free will and is not defencelessly at the mercy of the opposing powers during his earthly life, yet he has to make the decision himself because it determines his life in eternity.

이 땅의 삶에서 의지의 결정.

이 땅의 삶은 너희에게 단지 의지의 결정을 요구한다. 그러나 너희는 이 의지를 단지 입으로 표현하는 것이 아니라 심장으로 표현해야만 한다. 사람의 의지는 위아래나 아래로 향해야만 하고, 이런 의지에 따라 그의 삶을 살 것이다. 즉 의지가 어떤 방향을 정했는지가 나타나게 될 것이다. 내가 의지의 자유를 주기 때문에 인간은 자신의 의지의 방향을 스스로 정한다. 그러므로 그는 강요받는 상태에 있지 않고, 그가 정할 수 있기 위해 선택을 위한 두 가지의 목표를 아는 지식이 그에게 있어야만 한다.

그의 생각은 선하거나 악할 수 있고, 그가 추구하는 일이 선하거나 악할 수 있고, 이 땅에 사는 모든 사람을 끌어들이는 반대의 극이 선하거나 악할 수 있다. 사람의 생각에 영향을 미치려는 세력들이 선하거나 악할 수 있다. 그러나 결정은 사람 자신이 직접해야만 한다. 그러므로 내가 또한 그에게 선과 악을 깨달을 수 있는 능력을 주었고, 그러므로 느낌을 따르는 그의 결정은 옳아야만 하게 된다. 그러나 대적자의 세력이 이런 느낌을 악한 세력의 오류를 일으키는 묘사를 통해 둔감하게 만들지만 대적자의 세력은 단지 나에 대한 저항이 아직 큰 곳에서 성공한다.

사람은 선과 악을 깨달을 수 있다. 모든 방향으로 자유롭게 생각하고 의지를 정할 수 있는 사람이 선과 악을 깨닫기를 원할지는 자신에게 달려 있다. 대적자의 편은 이 땅의 이익과 성공으로 사람을 유혹한다. 그런 곳에서 내 은혜가 측량할 수 없게 제공이 된다. 그러므로 선과 악의 싸움이 절대로 불평등한 싸움이라고 할 수 없다. 심지어 가장 원시적인 사람도 이성이 아주 발달된 사람처럼 의지를 올바른 방향으로 향하게 할 수 있고, 이런 일을 나의 공의와 나의 사랑이 보장한다.

그러나 악을 향한 아주 작은 애착에 대적자에게 엄청난 권세를 부여하고, 대적자는 이런 애착을 끔찍한 방식으로 활용한다. 이와 반대로 나를 향한 아주 작은 의지가 모든 유혹과 공격을 견딜 수 있기 위한 특별한 은혜가 제공되는 일을 보장한다. 인간은 자유의지를 가지고 있다. 인간은 이 땅의 삶에서 대적자의 권세에 무방비한 상태에 있지 않다. 그러나 인간이 스스로 결정해야만 한다. 왜냐면 이런 결정은 영원 가운데 그의 삶을 정하는 결정이기 때문이다.
