God speaks.... God Himself is the word....

No one who seriously delves into the word of God will ever doubt that the connection between heaven and earth, from the spiritual to the earthly kingdom, can be established.... God’s word has to come from Himself and be conveyed to the human being, and for this purpose God makes use of people who are devoted to Him, who thus heard His word and passed it on to their fellow human beings. God’s word is the audible expression of His will which has to be made known to His living creations or they would not be able to live according to His will. Whether this word of His is handed down, whether it is read out of ancient writings.... it must once have been spoken by God, and people must have heard it directly from Him, who then pass it on to their fellow human beings on His behalf. The divine word is unmistakable evidence of His existence for the one who hears it from Him, yet if he then passes it on to his fellow human beings, faith in the existence of a being Which wants to reveal Itself to His living creations must already begin. But faith, in turn, should be a convinced one, and it is the human being's task during earthly life to create this inner conviction. But God Himself helps every person who wants to recognize Him. However, His word must first be acknowledged, i.e. seriously considered, otherwise the human being will not be able to make a judgment which can give him inner conviction. His word must be seriously thought through and then put to the test, i.e., The human being must live according to the divine word which reveals God's will, and then, as a result of his way of life, his ego will be able to judge, it will, so to speak, recognize itself as the creature of an exceedingly perfect being, and its faith in this being will now be convinced, i.e., it will be alive, for it is no longer improbable to the human being that there is a connection between the spiritual and the earthly kingdom; then he will soon be able to hear God's voice within himself, because God reveals Himself to everyone who believes in Him and wants to hear His word. The belief that God reveals Himself through the word is little found amongst people who, however, should only go back to the origin of what spread amongst people as the 'Word of God'. Once people have acknowledged that God has spoken and that His word, the scriptures and the tradition originated from Him, the assumption that He will no longer express Himself is also unjustified; rather, the ever-increasing spiritual adversity is the reason for a God of love, wisdom and omnipotence to reveal Himself again and again in order to strengthen people's weak faith, to revive it and to make Himself known. Anyone who believes in God is only a convinced believer if he also considers an expression of the God-being possible, because a living faith also considers the connection between the creator and His living creations to be irrefutable and the transmission or manifestation of God's will can also be derived from this relationship of coexistence, which then also explains and proves God's nature. God Himself is the word, and through the word He has given people the proof of His existence.... And thus He established the connection between heaven and earth, yet always only on condition that the human being seeks the connection to heaven from earth, i.e. that he is willing to enter into the right relationship which earns him the audible utterance of God.... God reveals Himself through His word to the one who wants to know God and who makes himself worthy of His love and grace....

하나님이 말한다. 하나님 자신이 말씀이다.

진지하게 하나님의 말씀 안으로 깊이 들어가는 사람은 하늘과 이 땅 사이에, 즉 영의 나라에서 이 땅의 나라에 이르는 연결이 이뤄질 수 있다는 것을 전혀 의심하지 않을 것이다. 하나님의 말씀은 하나님 자신에게서 나와서 사람들에게 제공돼야만 한다. 이를 위해 하나님은 자신에게 헌신하는 사람을 사용하고, 사람은 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 이웃에게 전해야 한다. 하나님의 말씀은 하나님의 뜻을 들을 수 있게 표현한 것이고, 하나님의 말씀이 그의 피조물들에게 알려져야만 한다. 그렇지 않으면 피조물들은 하나님의 뜻대로 살 수 없게 될 것이다. 하나님의 말씀이 이제 전달되었든 지, 하나님의 말씀을 옛 경전에서 읽었든지, 하나님이 한번 말씀하셨던 것이고, 사람들이 하나님으로부터 직접 들었어야만 했던 것이고 그리고 하나님의 사명대로 이웃에게 전달된 것이다.

하나님으로부터 말씀을 듣는 사람에게 하나님은 말씀은 하나님이 존재한다는 오해할 수 없는 증거이다. 그러나 그가 이제 이를 이웃에게 전하면, 그가 이미 자신을 자신의 피조물에게 계시해주기 원하는 존재를 믿는 믿음을 활용해야만 한다. 그러나 이 믿음이 또한 확신이 되야 하고, 이런 내적인 확신을 갖는 일이 사람이 이 땅에서 사는 동안에 해야 할 과제이고, 하나님 자신이 자신을 깨닫기 원하는 모든 사람을 돕는다. 그러나 하나님의 말씀을 가장 먼저 깨달아야만 한다. 즉 진지하게 점검해봐야만 한다. 그렇지 않으면 사람이 자신에게 내적인 확신을 줄 수 있는 판단을 내릴 수 없다.

하나님의 말씀을 진지하게 생각해보고 시험을 해봐야만 한다. 즉 사람이 하나님의 뜻을 선포하는 하나님의 말씀대로 살아야 한다. 그러면 그의 삶의 결과로 그 자신이 판단할 수 있게 될 것이다. 어떤 의미에서 그가 자신을 최고로 온전한 존재의 피조물로 깨달을 것이고, 이런 존재를 믿는 그의 믿음이 이제 확신이 될 것이다. 즉 생명력이 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 영의 나라와 이 땅의 나라와 연결되는 일이 그에게 더 이상 불가능한 일이 아니기 때문이다. 그러면 그는 곧 자신 안에서 하나님의 음성을 들을 수 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 하나님이 자신을 믿고, 자신의 말씀을 듣기 원하는 모든 사람에게 자신을 계시하기 때문이다.

하나님이 말씀을 통해 자신을 계시한다는 믿음을 사람들 가운데 적게 찾아볼 수 있다. 그러나 사람들은 하나님의 말씀으로 사람들 사이에 퍼진 것의 기원으로 돌아가야 한다. 사람이 하나님이 말씀하셨고, 하나님의 말씀과 성경과 전승된 것들이 하나님으로부터 나왔다는 것을 인정하면, 하나님이 더 이상 자신을 표현하지 않는다는 가정을 옳다고 할 수 없게 된다. 오히려 지속적으로 증가하는 영적인 위험이 사랑과 지혜와 전능한 하나님이 사람들의 연약한 믿음을 강하게 하고, 믿음이 살아나게 하고, 하나님 자신을 깨닫게 하기 위해 항상 또 다시 자신을 계시하게 한다.

하나님을 믿는 사람의 믿음은, 그가 하나님 자신이 자신을 표현하는 일을 가능하게 여긴다면, 비로소 확신이 있는 믿음이 된다. 왜냐면 생명력이 있는 믿음은 창조주와 그의 피조물과의 연관 관계를 반박할 수 없는 관계로 여기고, 이런 연관 관계로부터 하나님의 뜻을 계시해주는 일이나 알려주는 일을 할 수 있고, 이런 계시가 또한 하나님의 성품을 설명하고 증명한다고 여기기 때문이다. 하나님 자신이 말씀이고, 하나님은 말씀을 통해 사람들에게 자신의 존재에 대한 증거를 준다. 그러므로 하나님이 하늘과 땅 사이의 연결을 이룬다. 그러나 항상 사람이 이 땅에서 하늘과의 연결을 추구한다는 조건 아래, 즉 사람이 자원하여 하나님의 표현을 들을 수 있는 올바른 관계를 맺는다는 조건 아래 하나님은 하늘과 이 땅과의 연결을 이룬다. 하나님은 사람이 자신의 말씀을 통해 자신을 깨닫기 원하고, 자기 자신을 하나님의 사랑과 은혜에 합당하게 만드는 사람에게 자신을 계시한다.
