I will provide you with what you need on earth to reach the aim in the richest measure so that the maturing of your soul will not be impossible for you. But I have also known for eternity the measure of grace needed for each individual.... I therefore also know which means are useful to him and how he adapts to them. Hence also the different fates of life, but they are all paths to the aim, to the final perfection, if the human being treads them and strives upwards. Life on earth consists for each one in a different activity, which brings him success or failure. The most diverse occupations produce striving people who are intent on earthly success, who therefore also make different demands on life according to their successes, which, however, are mostly for the well-being of the body. However, this earthly striving does not result in spiritual advancement, which is why this is completely independent of a person's living conditions and ability. Only a way of life according to My will is necessary in order to progress spiritually, and every person can lead this way of life, whether poor or rich, whether high or low, whether young or old, whether clever or limited in his knowledge. I have placed a reminder in people's hearts so that everyone also knows by himself what is good or evil, because he knows exactly how every action affects himself. Whoever heeds this admonisher, whoever listens to the voice of his conscience, will also take the right path that leads to the aim. But the voice of conscience is first formed through education, through teachings, through receiving My word, in short, through knowledge which is imparted to each one of you through the gospel which is proclaimed to you through word and scripture. This gospel makes My will known to you, which is summarized in one commandment: Love God above all things and your neighbour as yourself. Whoever fulfils this commandment lives in My order and his spiritual ascent is certain. He can also be without deeper knowledge, yet his soul will mature from.... But he can also receive knowledge from Me.... People are considered according to how they want to utilize the grace they receive.... He who wants to hand out much will receive much; but he who only lives for himself, yet this in My eternal order, will also be able to be ignorant on earth, yet he will not be empty of spiritual possessions, for he will stand in brightest light, thus he will be knowledgeable and powerful as soon as he discards his physical cover. To become perfect on earth does not require special knowledge but only the will to unselfish neighbourly love, and this can be mustered by every person who strives for more, who listens to the admonisher in his heart, who fulfils My will because he feels that he is only pleasing to Me if he is good to his fellow human beings of his own accord, if he shows Me and his neighbour the love I demand of him and therefore have given people the commandment of love as the most important commandment....

너희가 이 땅에서 목표에 도달하기 위해, 너희에게 필요한 것을 내가 너희에게 가장 충만하게 제공한다. 이로써 너희 혼의 성장이 불가능하지 않게 한다. 그러나 나는 또한 영원으로부터 모든 각각의 사람이 사용하는 은혜의 분량을 안다. 이로써 나는 어떤 수단이 그에게 도움이 되는지, 그가 이런 수단에 어떤 자세를 갖는 지를 안다. 그러므로 만약에 사람들이 이 길을 가고, 높은 곳을 추구한다면, 서로 다른 삶의 운명들이 목표로 인도하기 위한, 완성에 이르게 하기 위한 모든 길이다. 이 땅의 삶은 모든 사람들에게 그가 성공하거나 또는 실패하는 서로 다른 일들로 되어 있다.

아주 다양한 직업들 가운데 이 세상에서 성공하는 사람들이 나오고, 그들의 성공에 따라 이 땅의 삶의 요구가 다르다. 그러나 이 요구는 대부분 육체의 행복을 구하는 요구이다. 그러나 이런 세상을 향한 추구는 그들에게 어떤 영적인 성장을 주지 못한다. 그러므로 삶의 형편과 한 사람의 유능함이 전적으로 서로 다르고 영적으로 성장하기 위해 단지 내 뜻대로 사는 삶이 필요하다. 모든 사람이 가난하거나 부자이거나, 높은 위치에 있거나, 낮은 위치에 있거나, 젊거나 나이가 들었거나, 지혜롭거나 또는 지식이 적은 사람이거나 내 뜻대로 사는 삶을 살 수 있다.

사람들의 심장 안에 내가 경고자를 넣어 주었고 이로써 모든 사람이 스스로 무엇이 선하고 악한 지를 알 수 있게 했다. 왜냐면 그가 모든 행동이 자신에게 어떠한 효과를 주는 지 정확하게 알기 때문이다. 이런 내면의 경고자의 말에 주의를 기울이는 사람은, 즉 자신의 양심의 소리에 귀를 기울이는 사람은 또한 목표로 인도하는 올바른 길을 간다. 그러나 양심의 음성은 양육을 통해, 가르침을 통해, 나의 말씀을 영접하는 일을 통해 비로소 양육된다. 짧게 말해 복음을 통해 너희에게 전해지는 모든 지식으로, 말씀과 성경을 통해 너희에게 선포되는 지식으로 양심의 소리가 양육된다.

복음이 "하나님을 무엇보다 사랑하고, 이웃을 네 몸처럼 사랑하라”는 하나의 계명 아래 요약이 되어 있는 내 뜻을 너희에게 알려 준다. 이 계명을 지키는 사람은 나의 질서 안에 살고, 그의 영적인 성장은 확실하다. 그에게 깊은 지식이 없을 수 있고 그럴지라도 그의 혼은 성장한다. 그러나 그는 나로부터 지식을 얻을 수 있다. 사람들은 자신에게 주어진 은혜를 활용하기 원하는 대로 도움을 받을 것이다. 많이 나누어 주기 원하는 사람은 많이 받게 될 것이다. 그러나 단지 자신을 위해 사는 사람은, 나의 영원한 질서 안에서 사는 사람은 이 땅에서 무지한 가운데 머물 수 있지만 그러나 영적인 부유함이 없게 되지 않을 것이다. 왜냐면 그가 가장 밝은 빛 가운데 거할 것이기 때문이다. 다시 말해 그가 육신의 겉 형체를 벗으면, 알게 될 것이고, 능력이 충만하게 될 것이기 때문이다.

이 땅에서 온전하게 되기 위해 특별한 지식이 필요한 것이 아니고, 단지 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 이웃 사랑을 행하려는 의지 만이 필요하다. 이런 의지를, 더 많은 것을 추구하고, 심장의 경고자의 말을 듣고, 내 뜻을 성취시키는 모든 사람이 가질 수 있다. 왜냐면 그가 자신이 동인이 되어, 이웃사람을 선하게 대하고, 내가 그에게 요구하는 나와 이웃사람에 대한 사랑을 행하면, 이로써 그는 단지 나를 기쁘게 한다고 느끼기 때문이다. 그러므로 나는 사람들에게 가장 중요한 계명으로 사랑의 계명을 주었다.
