Desire for truth condition....

I will not withhold the truth from you, yet it will also be understandable to you that I want the truth to be desired, because only this demonstrates the will to enter into contact with Me and to progress from the state of ignorance into the state of realization with My help. To possess the truth will always signify light for the human being.... but the light will not be carried to the person who feels comfortable in darkness, since he therefore finds its glow annoying because he is comfortable with darkness. To offer the truth to a person who has no desire for it would be to radiate light into darkness, which would have to be called futile because the light is not needed and therefore not appreciated. And thus truth can be conveyed to a person in noblest form, he will not feel anything of its benefit because the spiritual darkness will not make him uncomfortable and the truth will remain completely unimpressive to him. This is why I request that you humans approach Me for the truth, that you, in the feeling of a deficient state, in the awareness of your ignorance, turn to the one Who can and will give you knowledge because He loves you as His creations which are blind in spirit and therefore wants to make you see again. But the light will never be given to you humans against your will.... You must want the giver of truth to instruct you in everything you need to know, then you will truly be enlightened, you will be allowed to receive unmeasured light, for the deeper the desire in you becomes the more you will be provided with knowledge which corresponds to the truth. But conversely, even the deepest knowledge can remain ineffective on you and not increase your state of light by one degree if it is indifferent to you to what degree you are knowledgeable. Then your spiritual state will also correspond to your desire, for I, as the eternal truth, want to be desired, and anyone who seeks Me will also find the truth. But anyone who does not desire the truth is not desirous of Me either, and thus the truth will remain withheld from him until he realizes that life can only be found in the truth and through the truth, until he recognizes that I and the truth are one and that no-one can become blissfully happy without the truth....

진리를 갈망해야 하는 조건.

나는 너희에게 진리를 숨기지 않을 것이다. 그러나 내가 너희가 진리를 갈망하기를 원한다는 것을 너희는 이해할 수 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 진리를 갈망하는 일이 비로소 나와 연결을 이루려는 의지를 나타내고, 나의 도움으로 무지한 상태를 벗어나 깨달은 상태에 도달하려는 의지를 나타내기 때문이다. 진리를 소유하는 일은 항상 사람에게 빛을 의미한다. 그러나 어두움 속에서 편안함을 느끼는 사람에게 빛이 전달되지 않는다. 왜냐면 그런 사람은 어두움이 그에게 편안하기 때문에 빛의 비추임을 부담으로 느끼기 때문이다.

진리를 갈망하지 않는 사람에게 진리를 제공하는 일은 어두움 속으로 빛을 발산해주는 일이고, 헛된 일이라고 할 수 있다. 왜냐면 빛을 필요로 하지 않고, 그러므로 빛을 합당하게 여기지 않기 때문이다. 진리가 가장 고귀한 형태로 그런 사람에게 전해지면, 그는 진리가 주는 행복을 전혀 느끼지 못할 것이다. 왜냐면 그에게 영적 어두움이 불편하지 않고, 진리가 그에게 전혀 인상을 주지 못하고 머물기 때문이다.

그러므로 나는 진리를 나에게 구할 것을 너희에게 요구하고, 너희가 부족한 상태를 느끼고, 너희의 무지를 의식하는 가운데 너희에게 지식을 줄 수 있고 주기를 원하는 분에게 향할 것을 요구한다. 왜냐면 그 분이 자신의 피조물들이고 영이 눈이 먼 너희를 사랑하고 그러므로 너희가 다시 보게 되기를 원하기 때문이다. 그러나 너희의 의지와는 반대로 너희 사람들에게 절대로 빛이 주어지지 않을 것이다. 너희 자신이 진리를 주는 분이 너희가 알아야 할 모든 것을 너희에게 가르쳐 주기를 원해야만 한다. 그러면 너희는 진실로 깨우침을 받게 될 것이고, 측량할 수 없는 빛을 받을 수 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 너희 안의 갈망이 깊어질수록 너희가 진리에 합당한 지식을 더 많이 받을 것이기 때문이다.

그러나 이와 반대로 너희가 어느 정도 알고 있는 지에 관심이 없다면, 가장 깊은 지식도 너희에게 효력이 나타나지 않을 수 있고, 너희의 빛의 정도를 한 단계도 증가시켜주지 못할 수 있다. 그러면 너희의 영의 상태가 너희의 갈망대로 될 것이다. 왜냐면 영원한 진리인 나를 갈망하기를 내가 원하기 때문이고, 나를 찾는 사람은 진리를 찾을 것이기 때문이다. 그러나 진리를 갈망하지 않는 사람에게 나는 갈망할 만하지 않다. 그러므로 그가 단지 진리 안에서 진리를 통해 생명을 찾을 수 있다는 것을 깨닫기까지, 그가 나와 진리가 하나이고, 진리 없이는 아무도 축복을 받을 수 없다는 것을 깨닫기까지 진리가 그에게 전해지지 않는다.
