Desire for truth condition....

I will not withhold the truth from you, yet it will also be understandable to you that I want the truth to be desired, because only this demonstrates the will to enter into contact with Me and to progress from the state of ignorance into the state of realization with My help. To possess the truth will always signify light for the human being.... but the light will not be carried to the person who feels comfortable in darkness, since he therefore finds its glow annoying because he is comfortable with darkness. To offer the truth to a person who has no desire for it would be to radiate light into darkness, which would have to be called futile because the light is not needed and therefore not appreciated. And thus truth can be conveyed to a person in noblest form, he will not feel anything of its benefit because the spiritual darkness will not make him uncomfortable and the truth will remain completely unimpressive to him. This is why I request that you humans approach Me for the truth, that you, in the feeling of a deficient state, in the awareness of your ignorance, turn to the one Who can and will give you knowledge because He loves you as His creations which are blind in spirit and therefore wants to make you see again. But the light will never be given to you humans against your will.... You must want the giver of truth to instruct you in everything you need to know, then you will truly be enlightened, you will be allowed to receive unmeasured light, for the deeper the desire in you becomes the more you will be provided with knowledge which corresponds to the truth. But conversely, even the deepest knowledge can remain ineffective on you and not increase your state of light by one degree if it is indifferent to you to what degree you are knowledgeable. Then your spiritual state will also correspond to your desire, for I, as the eternal truth, want to be desired, and anyone who seeks Me will also find the truth. But anyone who does not desire the truth is not desirous of Me either, and thus the truth will remain withheld from him until he realizes that life can only be found in the truth and through the truth, until he recognizes that I and the truth are one and that no-one can become blissfully happy without the truth....

Verlangen nach der Wahrheit Bedingung....

Ich werde euch die Wahrheit nicht vorenthalten, doch es wird euch auch verständlich sein, daß Ich will, daß die Wahrheit begehrt werde, weil dies erst den Willen bekundet, mit Mir in Verbindung zu treten und aus dem Zustand der Unkenntnis mit Meiner Hilfe in den Zustand der Erkenntnis zu gelangen. Die Wahrheit zu besitzen, wird immer für den Menschen Licht bedeuten.... dem Menschen, der in der Finsternis sich wohl fühlt, wird aber nicht das Licht hingetragen, da er seinen Schein deshalb als lästig empfindet, weil ihm die Dunkelheit behagt. Einem Menschen nun die Wahrheit darbieten, der kein Verlangen nach ihr hat, wäre ein Verstrahlen des Lichtes in die Finsternis, das zwecklos genannt werden müßte, weil das Licht nicht benötigt, also auch nicht gewürdigt wird. Und so kann die Wahrheit in edelster Form einem Menschen zugeführt werden, er wird nichts von ihrer Wohltat spüren, weil ihm die geistige Finsternis nicht unbehaglich ist und die Wahrheit völlig eindruckslos auf ihn bleibt. Darum verlange Ich, daß ihr Menschen Mich angehet um die Wahrheit, daß ihr im Gefühl eines mangelhaften Zustandes, im Bewußtsein eurer Unkenntnis euch an Den wendet, Der euch Erkenntnis geben kann und will, weil Er euch als Seine Geschöpfe, die erblindet sind im Geist, liebt, und Er euch daher wieder sehend machen will. Niemals aber wird euch Menschen das Licht gegeben wider euren Willen.... Ihr müsset selbst wollen, daß euch der Geber der Wahrheit unterweise in allem, was zu wissen euch nottut, dann werdet ihr wahrlich aufgeklärt werden, ihr werdet ungemessen Licht empfangen dürfen, denn je tiefer das Verlangen in euch wird, desto mehr werdet ihr bedacht mit Wissen, das der Wahrheit entspricht. Doch umgekehrt kann auch das tiefste Wissen wirkungslos an euch bleiben und euren Lichtzustand nicht um einen Grad erhöhen, so es euch gleichgültig ist, in welchem Grade ihr wissend seid. Dann wird eurem Verlangen entsprechend auch euer Geisteszustand sein, denn Ich als die ewige Wahrheit will begehrt werden, und wer Mich suchet, der wird auch die Wahrheit finden. Wer aber die Wahrheit nicht verlangt, dem bin auch Ich nicht begehrenswert und also bleibt ihm die Wahrheit vorenthalten, bis er erkennt, daß nur in der Wahrheit und durch die Wahrheit das Leben zu finden ist, bis er erkennt, daß Ich und die Wahrheit eins sind und ohne die Wahrheit niemand selig werden kann....
