Overcoming matter....

Never forget that you are indeed children of the world but that you have to overcome the world in order to become aspirants of My kingdom, which is not of this world, and that this is your actual purpose of earthly life. Do not regard your earthly life as an end in itself but know that it is only a means to an end and that the end is only to detach yourselves from matter, thus to completely overcome the world. You have indeed been placed into this world and surrounded by matter which you can also make use of, yet only ever to such an extent that you, as well as the matter you use, are of service, that its actual purpose is fulfilled and at the same time you are able to serve your fellow human beings again through the use of matter and are thus active in neighbourly love. You shall overcome matter, but matter will overcome you.... it will try to captivate your thoughts, your souls, for this is the world's seduction, that everything worldly appears to you so appealingly that your desire for it is aroused and this desire can suffocate every other feeling if it is not fought against. You stand in the middle of the world, behind you lies the material world, i.e., all spiritual bound in matter still surrounds you, yet in front of you lies the spiritual kingdom, and both kingdoms seek to exert their influence on you. But your senses are still imprisoned by the material world and therefore cannot find the entrance into the spiritual kingdom. Therefore you have to fight against your desire, you have to fight against all covetousness which aims at earthly-material things. And in order to be able to do so more easily, the worthlessness of everything that surrounds you is presented to you; I constantly let you recognize the impermanence and nothingness of material things so that you detach your hearts from them, so that you become free from matter and can enter the spiritual kingdom unhindered by directing your thoughts to where there is no more passing away, where everything you acquire in spiritual possessions is permanent and imperishable.

You are indeed in the midst of the world but at the same time you can also occupy the spiritual kingdom if your soul desires it and only grants the body the right to dwell in matter, yet completely untouched by it, because the soul, the human being's thinking, feeling and wanting dwells in spiritual spheres and has found the true kingdom there where it feels at ease and will never again exchange it for the material world. Overcome matter, imagine its worthlessness and turn away from the goods of this world.... Seek to gain My kingdom and you will possess far more than the earthly world can ever offer you. For even if you are children of the world, the spiritual kingdom is open to you and accepts everyone who leaves the world behind in his desires and only strives upwards, who wants to enter My kingdom because he has recognized that the earthly world is My adversary's share and whom I therefore help to reach the aim....

Überwinden der Materie....

Vergesset nie, daß ihr wohl Kinder der Welt seid, die Welt aber überwinden müsset, um Anwärter Meines Reiches, das nicht von dieser Welt ist, zu werden und daß das eure eigentliche Erdenlebensbestimmung ist. Erachtet nicht euer Erdenleben als Selbstzweck, sondern wisset, daß es nur Mittel zum Zweck ist und daß der Zweck nur der ist, euch von der Materie zu lösen, also die Welt völlig zu überwinden. Ihr seid zwar hineingesetzt worden in diese Welt und umgeben von Materie, die ihr euch auch zunutze machen könnet, doch immer nur in einem Maß, daß sowohl ihr, wie auch die von euch genützte Materie, dienet, daß ihr eigentlicher Zweck erfüllt wird und gleichzeitig ihr durch Nutzung der Materie in der Lage seid, wieder den Mitmenschen zu dienen und so in der Nächstenliebe tätig seid. Ihr sollt die Materie überwinden, doch die Materie wird euch überwinden.... sie wird eure Gedanken, eure Seelen, zu fesseln suchen, denn das ist die Verführung der Welt, daß euch alles Weltliche so reizvoll vor Augen tritt, daß euer Verlangen danach rege wird und dieses Verlangen jedes andere Gefühl ersticken kann, wenn nicht dagegen angekämpft wird. Ihr steht mitten in der Welt, hinter euch liegt die materielle Welt, d.h., alles in der Materie gebundene Geistige umgibt euch noch, doch vor euch liegt das geistige Reich, und beide Reiche suchen ihren Einfluß auf euch auszuüben. Eure Sinne aber sind noch von der materiellen Welt gefangen und finden also den Eintritt in das geistige Reich nicht. Darum müsset ihr kämpfen wider euer Verlangen, ihr müsset ankämpfen gegen alle Begehrlichkeit, die Irdisch-Materielles zum Ziel hat. Und um das leichter zu können, wird euch die Wertlosigkeit alles dessen vorgestellt, was euch umgibt; die Unbeständigkeit und Nichtigkeit der materiellen Dinge lasse Ich euch ständig erkennen, auf daß ihr eure Herzen davon löset, auf daß ihr frei werdet von der Materie und nun ungehindert in das geistige Reich eingehen könnet, indem ihr eure Gedanken dorthin lenket, wo es kein Vergehen mehr gibt, wo alles beständig und unvergänglich ist, was ihr euch an geistigen Gütern erwerbet.

Ihr stehet wohl mitten in der Welt, könnet aber gleichzeitig auch das geistige Reich einnehmen, so eure Seele dieses begehret und nur noch dem Körper das Recht einräumet, in der Materie zu weilen, von dieser jedoch völlig unberührt, weil die Seele, das Denken, Fühlen und Wollen des Menschen in geistigen Sphären weilt und dort das wahre Reich gefunden hat, wo sie sich wohl fühlt und es niemals mehr gegen die materielle Welt eintauschet. Überwindet die Materie, stellet euch ihre Wertlosigkeit vor und wendet euch ab von den Gütern dieser Welt.... suchet Mein Reich zu gewinnen, und ihr werdet weit mehr besitzen, als euch die irdische Welt je bieten kann. Denn ob ihr auch Kinder der Welt seid, das geistige Reich steht euch offen und nimmt jeden an, der die Welt hinter sich lässet in seinen Wünschen und nur strebet nach oben, der in Mein Reich eingehen will, weil er erkannt hat, daß die irdische Welt Meines Gegners Anteil ist, und dem Ich darum helfe, daß er zum Ziel gelange....
