Task of God's servants: enlightenment about living faith and truth....

Your task consists of standing up for the truth, of enlightening and opposing the truth wherever you recognize error, so that you shake the certainty of those who believe error to be truth, so that they become thoughtful and the beings of light have a mental effect on them. Furthermore, your task consists of making the difference between living and dead faith clear to your fellow human beings, so that they are not content to pause over customs and formulas but shape their faith into a living one and establish a living connection with Me. You humans cannot hear My voice in you as long as you do not actively strive for a change of nature which, however, never happens without the firm inner will and prayer for grace and strength. Only then will life begin in you, only then will the soul remember the purpose of earthly life, and only then will it fulfil its task to develop upwards. But this will and prayer in spirit and in truth is rarely found among people, and yet they think they are believers because they comply with the church events and requirements; yet their souls do not achieve any significant progress, the change of nature does not take place, and the working of the spirit in the human being is an impossibility and likewise the supply of pure truth, which is why error is widespread in the world, which again signifies an unhappy state of humanity because truth alone is light and light alone is blissful. Satan's power is great, and it also extends to where the truth from Me should be represented, where the gospel should be taught in all purity, as I Myself preached it to people on earth. And this is why he also has such great power over the supposed believers, because they don't join Me closely enough themselves, because they certainly speak of Me but don't have Me in their heart; because they certainly pray but mostly with their lips and not in spirit and in truth. For the length of a prayer does not increase its effect, and a heartfelt thought is more likely to be heard than well-placed words of long duration. The adversary lurks everywhere and tries to bring people down, and he is very successful where the will to reach Me is not serious and firm. But who musters this will, I hold him firm that he does not fall in the temptations of the adversary. I give him strength and he will remain victorious. But where is the will so serious that the hot, pleading request rises up to Me: Lord, draw Me to You, help Me against all adversity of body and soul; give Me pure, unadulterated truth, and let Me recognize and love You.... Where is faith so alive that the heart speaks these words and not only the mouth?.... I want this living faith, and where I find it I will certainly be constantly present, for I will not let such a heart fall into My adversary's hands. But he tries to prevent you humans from intimate contact with Me, and thus he first tries to obscure the truth, he spreads error and gives you a distorted image of Me. And because your will is weak you let yourselves be influenced by him and you believe His words more, who portrays Me as a God of vengeance and wrath and not of love and reduces your desire for Me. He is present to you but I am far from you, for your heart does not draw Me, it belongs to the world which is his kingdom. And your faith is dead.... it is only a confession with the mouth but not a firmly convinced faith that I am and want to unite with you as My living creations. Faith is missing because you do not know the truth. And therefore you, My servants, should fight for the truth and take action against error, and I will always be present to you with My grace....

Aufgabe der Diener Gottes: Aufklärung über lebendigen Glauben und Wahrheit....

Eure Aufgabe besteht darin, daß ihr euch einsetzet für die Wahrheit, daß ihr überall, wo ihr den Irrtum erkennet, aufklärend redet und die Wahrheit entgegensetzet, daß ihr dadurch die Sicherheit derer erschüttert, die Irrtum für Wahrheit halten, daß sie nachdenklich werden und nun die Lichtwesen gedanklich auf sie einwirken. Eure Aufgabe besteht ferner darin, daß ihr den Mitmenschen den Unterschied des lebendigen und des toten Glaubens klarmachet, daß sie sich nicht begnügen mit dem Innehalten von Gebräuchen und Formeln, sondern ihren Glauben zu einem lebendigen gestalten und die lebendige Verbindung mit Mir herstellen. Ihr Menschen könnet solange nicht Meine Stimme in euch vernehmen, wie ihr nicht tatkräftig eine Wesenswandlung anstrebt, die aber niemals vor sich geht ohne den inneren festen Willen und das Gebet um Gnade und Kraftzuwendung. Dann erst beginnt in euch das Leben, dann besinnt sich die Seele auf den Erdenlebenszweck, und dann erst erfüllt sie ihre Aufgabe, sich zur Höhe zu entwickeln. Dieser Wille aber und das Gebet im Geist und in der Wahrheit ist wenig anzutreffen unter den Menschen, und dennoch meinen sie, gläubig zu sein, weil sie den kirchlichen Veranstaltungen und Anforderungen nachkommen; doch ihre Seelen erreichen keinen erheblichen Fortschritt, die Wandlung des Wesens geht nicht vonstatten, und das Wirken des Geistes im Menschen ist eine Unmöglichkeit und ebenso das Zuleiten der reinen Wahrheit, weshalb Irrtum über Irrtum in der Welt verbreitet ist, was wieder einen unseligen Zustand der Menschheit bedeutet, weil Wahrheit allein Licht ist und Licht allein beseligend. Die Macht des Satans ist groß, und sie erstreckt sich auch dorthin, wo die Wahrheit aus Mir vertreten werden sollte, wo das Evangelium gelehrt werden sollte in aller Reinheit, wie Ich es Selbst auf Erden den Menschen gepredigt habe. Und er hat darum so große Macht auch über die vermeintlich Gläubigen, weil sie selbst sich nicht eng genug an Mich anschließen, weil sie wohl von Mir reden, aber Mich nicht im Herzen haben; weil sie wohl beten, aber mit den Lippen zumeist und nicht im Geist und in der Wahrheit. Denn die Länge eines Gebetes erhöht die Wirkung nicht, und ein inniger Gedanke findet eher Erhörung als wohlgesetzte Worte von langer Dauer. Überall lauert der Widersacher und suchet die Menschen zu Fall zu bringen, und er hat guten Erfolg, wo der Wille nicht ernst und fest ist, zu Mir zu gelangen. Wer aber diesen Willen aufbringt, den halte Ich fest, daß er nicht fällt in den Versuchungen des Gegners. Ihm gebe Ich Kraft, und er wird Sieger bleiben. Wo aber ist der Wille so ernst, daß die heiße, flehentliche Bitte zu Mir emporsteigt: Herr, ziehe mich zu Dir, hilf mir gegen alle Not des Leibes und der Seele; gib mir reine, unverfälschte Wahrheit, und lasse mich Dich erkennen und lieben.... Wo ist der Glaube so lebendig, daß das Herz diese Worte spricht und nicht nur der Mund?.... Diesen lebendigen Glauben will Ich, und wo Ich ihn finde, bin Ich sicher ständig gegenwärtig, denn ein solches Herz lasse Ich nicht in die Hände Meines Gegners fallen. Dieser aber suchet euch Menschen zu hindern an der innigen Verbindung mit Mir, und also sucht er zuerst die Wahrheit zu verdunkeln, er streut Irrtum aus und gibt euch ein verzerrtes Bild von Mir. Und weil euer Wille schwach ist, lasset ihr euch beeinflussen von ihm, und ihr glaubet seinen Worten mehr, der Mich als einen Gott der Rache und des Zornes und nicht der Liebe schildert und euer Verlangen nach Mir verringert. Er ist euch gegenwärtig, Ich aber bin euch fern, denn euer Herz zieht Mich nicht, es gehört der Welt an, die sein Reich ist. Und euer Glaube ist tot.... er ist nur ein Bekennen mit dem Munde, nicht aber ein fest überzeugter Glaube, daß Ich bin und Mich mit euch als Meinen Geschöpfen vereinigen möchte. Der Glaube fehlt, weil ihr nicht in der Wahrheit steht. Und darum sollet ihr, Meine Diener, kämpfen für die Wahrheit und gegen den Irrtum vorgehen, und Ich werde euch immer gegenwärtig sein mit Meiner Gnade....
