'Thou art Peter, the rock....' Living faith - the church of Christ....

Anyone who wants to belong to My church must have a living faith, for I do not acknowledge a dead faith because it does not merit the description of 'faith'. And thus you humans already have the right characteristic of My church as well as the explanation for My Words 'Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church.... ' My church is only based on the right faith.... But what is the right faith?.... Deeming something to be true which cannot be proven is your explanation. Nevertheless, this is not meant to be blind faith, not a thoughtless acceptance of religious doctrines, because this cannot give rise to a convinced faith. Even so, the human being must possess the inner conviction without proof.... This is the right faith or it would only be a play of words when faith is being talked about. Only a convinced faith is a living faith, and not blindly accepted dogma which is merely not rejected.... Peter possessed a convinced faith and this is why I referred to him as the rock which should be the foundation of My church. And time and again I will make this faith the condition for belonging to My church, for I Am not satisfied with those who only pay lip-service to a teaching but lack the inner conviction.

A living faith is a prerequisite, because the strength of faith will only become evident where the inner conviction exists. The fact that I expect more of people than a mere avowal with their lips should be obvious to every thinking person, after all, people could be presented with and expected to believe the most absurd teachings. But I made this impossible with My Words which specify a guideline to people.... Peter, the rock.... who shall be the foundation of My church. From this follows that you humans must therefore clarify your point of view regarding every doctrine, that you, in order that you can believe with conviction, will have to mentally form an opinion about it and thus, understandably, cannot accept every doctrine, that an erroneous teaching must be recognised by you, because you cannot gain the conviction that what you are expected to believe is the absolute truth. On serious reflection you will certainly be able to distinguish which doctrines correspond to the truth and which have to be rejected.... And thus you will also be and remain true followers of My church if you have a living faith, and I will bless you....

"You are Peter the Rock...." Fé Viva - Igreja de Cristo....

Quem quiser pertencer à Minha Igreja deve ter uma fé viva, pois não aceito uma fé morta porque não merece o nome 'fé'. E, portanto, vós, humanos, já tendes a característica certa da Minha Igreja e também a explicação das Minhas palavras: 'Tu és Pedro, a rocha, sobre ti edificarei a Minha Igreja....'. Só sobre uma fé certa é fundada a Minha Igreja.... Mas o que é uma fé certa?.... Acreditando que algo é verdade que não pode ser provado.... essa é a sua explicação. No entanto, não significa fé cega, nenhuma aceitação irreflectida de doutrinas de fé, porque isto não pode dar origem a uma fé convicta. Mas o ser humano deve possuir a convicção interior sem provas..... Isto é fé verdadeira, caso contrário seria apenas um jogo de palavras quando se fala de fé. Apenas uma fé convicta é uma fé viva, mas nunca uma declaração de fé adoptada cegamente que não é simplesmente rejeitada..... Pedro possuía uma fé convicta e por isso eu o conduzi como a rocha que deveria carregar a Minha igreja. E uma e outra vez farei desta fé uma condição para pertencer à Minha Igreja, pois não me contento com aqueles que só professam uma doutrina com a boca mas carecem de convicção interior. Uma fé viva é um pré-requisito porque a força da fé só vem à luz onde a convicção interior pode ser encontrada. Deve ser claro para qualquer pessoa pensante que exijo mais das pessoas do que uma mera confissão com a boca, afinal, os ensinamentos mais absurdos poderiam ser apresentados às pessoas e a fé neles exigida.

Mas torno isto impossível através das Minhas Palavras em que dou às pessoas um padrão.... a pedra Peter.... que levará a Minha Igreja. Daqui decorre que vós, humanos, tendes assim de tomar uma posição sobre cada doutrina de fé, que vós, para poderdes acreditar com convicção, tendes de tomar uma posição mental sobre ela e, portanto, compreensivelmente não podeis aceitar cada doutrina de fé, que um ensino errado tem de ser reconhecido por vós, porque não podeis ganhar a convicção da verdade absoluta daquilo em que sois obrigados a acreditar. Com um pensamento sério será muito bem capaz de distinguir que ensinamentos correspondem à verdade e que ensinamentos têm de ser rejeitados..... E assim também serão e continuarão a ser verdadeiros seguidores da Minha Igreja se tiverem uma fé viva, e eu abençoar-vos-ei...._>Ámen
