'Thou art Peter, the rock....' Living faith - the church of Christ....

Anyone who wants to belong to My church must have a living faith, for I do not acknowledge a dead faith because it does not merit the description of 'faith'. And thus you humans already have the right characteristic of My church as well as the explanation for My Words 'Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church.... ' My church is only based on the right faith.... But what is the right faith?.... Deeming something to be true which cannot be proven is your explanation. Nevertheless, this is not meant to be blind faith, not a thoughtless acceptance of religious doctrines, because this cannot give rise to a convinced faith. Even so, the human being must possess the inner conviction without proof.... This is the right faith or it would only be a play of words when faith is being talked about. Only a convinced faith is a living faith, and not blindly accepted dogma which is merely not rejected.... Peter possessed a convinced faith and this is why I referred to him as the rock which should be the foundation of My church. And time and again I will make this faith the condition for belonging to My church, for I Am not satisfied with those who only pay lip-service to a teaching but lack the inner conviction.

A living faith is a prerequisite, because the strength of faith will only become evident where the inner conviction exists. The fact that I expect more of people than a mere avowal with their lips should be obvious to every thinking person, after all, people could be presented with and expected to believe the most absurd teachings. But I made this impossible with My Words which specify a guideline to people.... Peter, the rock.... who shall be the foundation of My church. From this follows that you humans must therefore clarify your point of view regarding every doctrine, that you, in order that you can believe with conviction, will have to mentally form an opinion about it and thus, understandably, cannot accept every doctrine, that an erroneous teaching must be recognised by you, because you cannot gain the conviction that what you are expected to believe is the absolute truth. On serious reflection you will certainly be able to distinguish which doctrines correspond to the truth and which have to be rejected.... And thus you will also be and remain true followers of My church if you have a living faith, and I will bless you....

„Tu sei Pietro, la roccia“ – Fede viva - La Chiesa di Cristo

Chi vuole appartenere alla Mia Chiesa, deve stare nella viva fede, perché non considero una fede morta, perché questa non merita la designazione di “fede”. E così voi uomini avete già il vero Segno della Mia Chiesa, ed anche la spiegazione delle Mie Parole: “Tu sei Pietro, la roccia, su te voglio costruire la Mia Chiesa”. La Mia Chiesa è fondata su una vera fede, Ma che cosa è una vera fede? Ritenere qualcosa per vero ciò che non si può dimostrare, così suona la vostra spiegazione. Con ciò comunque non è intesa una fede cieca, nessun accettare senza riflettere di dottrine di fede, perché queste non possono far nascere una fede convincente. Ma l’uomo deve possedere la convinzione interiore, senza prova. Questa è vera fede, altrimenti sarebbe soltanto un gioco di parole se si parla di fede. Solo una fede convinta, una fede viva, ma mai una fede cieca tradizionale, che soltanto non può essere rifiutata. Pietro possedeva una fede convinta, e perciò l’ho indicato come roccia, che doveva reggere la Mia Chiesa. E farò di questa fede sempre di nuovo la condizione per l’appartenenza alla Mia chiesa, perché non Mi accontento di coloro che si confessano soltanto con la bocca per una dottrina, a cui manca però la convinzione interiore. Una fede viva è la condizione, perché soltanto allora si manifesta la forza della fede, dove si incontra la convinzione interiore. Che pretenda dagli uomini più che solo una semplice confessione con la bocca, deve essere chiaro per ogni uomo pensante, altrimenti potrebbero venire sottoposte agli uomini le dottrine più insensate e richiesta per queste la fede. Ma rendo impossibile questo fatto mediante le Mie Parole, nelle quali do agli uomini una norma, la roccia di Pietro – che deve reggere la Mia Chiesa. Da questo risulta che voi uomini dovete prendere posizione per ogni dottrina di fede, che voi, per poter credere convinti, dovete prenderne posizione, e comprensibilmente non potete accettare ogni dottrina di fede, e che una dottrina errata deve e può essere da voi anche riconosciuta, dato che da quella non potete ottenere la convinzione dell’assoluta Verità, ciò che viene preteso da voi di credere. Sarete benissimo in grado di distinguere dopo seria riflessione, quale dottrina corrisponde alla Verità, e quali dottrine devono essere rifiutate. E così sarete e rimarrete anche veri seguaci della Mia Chiesa, se state nella viva fede, e poi vi benedirò.
