'Thou art Peter, the rock....' Living faith - the church of Christ....

Anyone who wants to belong to My church must have a living faith, for I do not acknowledge a dead faith because it does not merit the description of 'faith'. And thus you humans already have the right characteristic of My church as well as the explanation for My Words 'Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church.... ' My church is only based on the right faith.... But what is the right faith?.... Deeming something to be true which cannot be proven is your explanation. Nevertheless, this is not meant to be blind faith, not a thoughtless acceptance of religious doctrines, because this cannot give rise to a convinced faith. Even so, the human being must possess the inner conviction without proof.... This is the right faith or it would only be a play of words when faith is being talked about. Only a convinced faith is a living faith, and not blindly accepted dogma which is merely not rejected.... Peter possessed a convinced faith and this is why I referred to him as the rock which should be the foundation of My church. And time and again I will make this faith the condition for belonging to My church, for I Am not satisfied with those who only pay lip-service to a teaching but lack the inner conviction.

A living faith is a prerequisite, because the strength of faith will only become evident where the inner conviction exists. The fact that I expect more of people than a mere avowal with their lips should be obvious to every thinking person, after all, people could be presented with and expected to believe the most absurd teachings. But I made this impossible with My Words which specify a guideline to people.... Peter, the rock.... who shall be the foundation of My church. From this follows that you humans must therefore clarify your point of view regarding every doctrine, that you, in order that you can believe with conviction, will have to mentally form an opinion about it and thus, understandably, cannot accept every doctrine, that an erroneous teaching must be recognised by you, because you cannot gain the conviction that what you are expected to believe is the absolute truth. On serious reflection you will certainly be able to distinguish which doctrines correspond to the truth and which have to be rejected.... And thus you will also be and remain true followers of My church if you have a living faith, and I will bless you....

« Tu es Pierre, le roc » – Foi vivante - l'Église du Christ

Celui qui veut appartenir à Mon Église, doit être dans une foi vivante, parce que Je ne considère pas une foi morte, parce que celle-ci ne mérite pas la désignation de « foi ». Et ainsi vous les hommes avez déjà le vrai Signe de Mon Église, et aussi l'explication de Mes Paroles : « Tu es Pierre, le roc, sur toi Je veux construire Mon Église ». Mon Église es fondée sur une vraie foi, mais qu'est une vraie foi ? Retenir pour vrai quelque chose qui ne peut pas être démontré, ainsi sonne votre explication. Avec cela aucune foi aveugle n'est visée, aucune acceptation de doctrine de foi sans réfléchir n’est permise, parce que celles-ci ne peuvent pas faire naître une foi convaincue. Mais l'homme doit posséder la conviction intérieure, sans preuve. Cela est la vraie foi, autrement ce serait seulement un jeu de mots si on parle de foi. Seulement une foi convaincue, une foi vivante, mais jamais un dogme aveugle traditionnel qui n’aurait pas été rejeté. Pierre possédait une foi convaincue, et donc Je l'ai présenté comme un roc qui devait porter Mon Église. Et Je ferai de cette foi toujours de nouveau une condition pour l’appartenance à Mon église, parce que Je ne Me contente pas de ceux qui se déclarent seulement avec la bouche pour une doctrine, s’il leur manque la conviction intérieure. Une foi vivante est la condition, parce que seulement alors la force de la foi se manifeste, là où se rencontre la conviction intérieure qui exige des hommes plus que seulement une simple déclaration avec la bouche, cela doit être clair pour chaque homme qui pense, autrement il pourrait être soumis aux hommes les doctrines les plus insensées et leur demander d’avoir foi en celles-ci.

Mais Je rends impossible ce fait au moyen de Mes Paroles, dans lesquelles Je donne aux hommes une règle, Pierre le roc – qui doit tenir Mon Église. De cela il résulte que vous les hommes devez prendre position pour chaque enseignement concernant la foi, et si vous l’acceptez votre foi peut être appelée convaincue, et il est compréhensible que vous ne pouvez pas accepter chaque doctrine de foi, et qu'une doctrine erronée doit et peut être reconnue par vous, vu qu’avec celle-là vous ne pouvez pas obtenir la conviction de l'absolue Vérité sur ce qui est exigé de vous de croire. Vous serez très bien en mesure de distinguer après une sérieuse réflexion, quelle doctrine correspond à la Vérité, et quelles doctrines doivent être refusées. Et ainsi vous serez et resterez de vrais disciples de Mon Église si vous êtes dans la foi vivante, et ensuite Je vous bénirai.
