Prayer in spirit and in truth prerequisite for the working of the spirit....

You can only hear the voice of the spirit within you after you open your heart through heartfelt prayer. And this prayer must be directed towards Me in spirit and in truth, otherwise I will close My ear and you will wait in vain for divine enlightenment. This is a law which has to be fulfilled, but which was not always fulfilled where the enlightenment of the spirit was necessary in order to be instructed in the pure truth. Anyone who is responsible as a teacher and leader for the souls of those he instructs must first stand in truth himself and make the transmission of truth possible through intimate contact with Me, he must know that I and truth are one, that therefore truth cannot be received without Me and that the connection with Me must be established first, otherwise the connection with truth cannot be achieved either. But the connection with Me depends on the human being's free will, and therefore he must turn to Me of his own accord, which happens through heartfelt prayer, through prayer in spirit and in truth.... Anyone who prays like this will also hear My voice, his thoughts will be guided such that they will move in truth, even though My word is not audibly heard by him due to his lack of maturity of soul. For this presupposes a certain degree of maturity which is not reached by all people who ask for the truth. And therefore people who proceed intellectually can also live in truth if they have first established the most intimate connection with Me, however, their way of life must also correspond to My will, they must live a life of love, otherwise My working on them through the spirit is impossible. For I, love and truth are one.... Again and again this has to be explained to you humans, that you recognize people's spirit by their fruits and thus can never grant right thinking to someone who does not live according to My will, and thus you will always have a standard if you want to test a person's statements for their credibility. Anyone who lives in love, who acknowledges Me and seeks the truth, will also live in truth and his thinking will be right, for I will enlighten his spirit so that the truth will spread through him....

La preghiera nello Spirito e nella Verità - Premessa per l’Agire dello Spirito

Voi potete sentire la voce dello spirito in voi solamente, dopo che aprite il vostro cuore tramite l’intima preghiera. E questa preghiera deve essere rivolta a Me nello Spirito e nella Verità, altrimenti chiudo il Mio Orecchio e voi attendete invano la divina illuminazione. Questa è una Legge che deve essere adempiuta, che però non è sempre stata adempiuta, dove era necessaria l’illuminazione dello spirito, per essere istruiti nella pura Verità. Chi da insegnante o guida è responsabile per le anime di coloro che istruisce, egli stesso deve dapprima stare nella Verità e rendere possibile di portare agli altri la Verità tramite l’intimo collegamento con Me, deve sapere che Io e la Verità Siamo Uno, che quindi la Verità non può essere ricevuta senza di Me e che dapprima deve essere stabilito il contatto con Me, altrimenti non può nemmeno essere stabilito il contatto con la Verità. Ma il contatto con Me dipende dalla libera volontà dell’uomo, ed egli stesso si deve rivolgere a Me e ciò avviene tramite l’intima preghiera, attraverso la preghiera nello Spirito e nella Verità. Chi prega in questo modo sentirà anche la Mia Voce, i suoi pensieri vengono guidati affinché si muova nella Verità, benché la Mia Parola non gli è udibile in modo suonante per la mancanza di maturità dell’anima, perché questo premette un certo grado di maturità, che non viene raggiunto da tutti gli uomini che chiedono la Verità. E perciò anche degli uomini che procedono intellettualmente, possono stare nella Verità, se dapprima hanno stabilito con Me il contatto, ma anche il loro cammino di vita deve corrispondere alla Mia Volontà, devono condurre una vita nell’amore, perché altrimenti il Mio Agire attraverso lo spirito in loro è impossibile, perché Io, l’Amore e la Verità, Siamo Uno. A voi uomini questo deve sempre di nuovo essere spiegato, che riconosciate nei frutti lo spirito degli uomini e non possiate mai acconsentire un giusto pensare a colui che non vive secondo la Mia Volontà, e così avrete sempre una norma quando volete esaminare la credibilità delle esecuzioni di un uomo. Chi vive nell’amore, chi Mi riconosce e cerca la Verità, starà anche nella Verità ed il suo pensare sarà giusto, perché il suo spirito è illuminato da Me, affinché la Verità trovi diffusione attraverso di lui.
