Voice of the spirit God's voice.... protection from erroneous thinking....

You need never doubt that the voice of the spirit teaches you correctly, for it is God's voice.... You need never assume that beings other than God-devoted beings can influence you if you first commend yourselves to God in prayer. The connection you establish with God through prayer protects you against forces which would like to impart other than pure truth to you, and your own line of thought will never lead you astray, because good spiritual forces protect you from receiving the thought material of impure beings. And yet you must always take care that you eliminate bad influence through your will yourselves, so that the battle between the world of light and the forces of darkness cannot break out in the first place, so that only good beings have access to you, which only the human being's will can accomplish. For it alone is decisive as to which forces approach him. If your will is turned towards truth and therefore also towards God Himself, your thinking will always be right, it will correspond to the spiritual good which you receive through the working of the spirit within you; the voice of the spirit will always instruct you in divine wisdom, and everything you think, do and speak will correspond to God's will, Who works in you through His spirit Himself and, through His presence, constantly keeps all imperfect spiritual things away from you and prevents them from distressing you or winning you over. You can be completely certain of His protection, you can also be certain of His love which protects you from all harm to your soul, and you can always regard every advice, every instruction and every other announcement as His word, as His expressed proof of love, which He constantly wants to give to you so that you will recognise and love Him and remain in constant contact with Him. For He gladly dwells where a human heart opens itself to Him, loves Him and deeply desires Him.... And there is no more intimate union with God than through love.... Where love is practised, God will always be present and will reward the earthly child a thousandfold for its love. But the most beautiful reward on earth is His word, which sounds in the human heart.... Anyone who reaches this state can consider himself extremely fortunate, for he has the undeniable proof that God loves him and wants to make him happy and makes this known through the sounding word. But then there is no longer any doubt, then the human being on earth has already reached the degree his soul needs to unite with God. Then he will only live in order to fulfil a mission assigned to him, yet his longing will now constantly be directed towards the spiritual kingdom in order to be and remain intimately united with the aim of his longing, with God, for all eternity....

Stimme des Geistes Gottes Stimme.... Schutz vor irrigem Denken....

Daß euch die Stimme des Geistes recht belehrt, brauchet ihr nie und nimmer bezweifeln, denn sie ist Gottes Stimme.... Niemals brauchet ihr anzunehmen, daß andere als Gott-zugewandte Wesen euch beeinflussen können, so ihr euch zuvor Gott im Gebet empfehlet. Die Verbindung, die ihr durch das Gebet mit Gott herstellet, sichert euch gegen die Kräfte, die anderes als reine Wahrheit euch vermitteln möchten, und euer eigener Gedankengang wird niemals in die Irre führen, weil gute geistige Kräfte euch davor schützen, daß ihr das Gedankengut unreiner Wesen aufnehmet. Und doch müsset ihr stets darauf bedacht sein, daß ihr durch euren Willen selbst eine schlechte Beeinflussung ausschaltet, auf daß der Kampf zwischen der Lichtwelt und den Kräften der Finsternis nicht erst entbrennen kann, auf daß nur die guten Wesen zu euch Zugang haben, was nur der Wille des Menschen bewerkstelligen kann. Denn er allein ist ausschlaggebend, welche Kräfte sich ihm nahen. Ist euer Wille der Wahrheit zugewandt und demnach auch Gott Selbst, so wird euer Denken stets recht sein, es wird dem geistigen Gut entsprechen, das ihr empfanget durch das Wirken des Geistes in euch; es wird die Stimme des Geistes stets euch unterweisen in göttlichen Weisheiten, und alles, was ihr denkt, tut und redet, wird dem Willen Gottes entsprechen, Der durch Seinen Geist Selbst in euch wirket und durch Seine Gegenwart ständig alles unvollkommene Geistige euch fernhält und verhindert, euch zu bedrängen oder zu gewinnen. Ihr könnet euch Seines Schutzes völlig sicher wähnen, ihr könnet auch Seiner Liebe gewiß sein, die euch vor jedem Seelenschaden hütet, und ihr könnet jeden Rat, jede Belehrung und jede sonstige Kundgabe immer als Sein Wort betrachten, als Seinen zum Ausdruck gebrachten Liebesbeweis, den Er euch ständig geben will, auf daß ihr Ihn erkennet und liebet und in immerwährender Verbindung mit Ihm bleibt. Denn Er weilet gern, wo ein menschliches Herz sich Ihm öffnet, Ihn liebt und innig begehrt.... Und es gibt keinen innigeren Zusammenschluß mit Gott als durch die Liebe.... Wo Liebe geübt wird, dort wird Gott immer gegenwärtig sein und dem Erdenkind seine Liebe vergelten tausendfach. Der schönste Lohn auf Erden aber ist Sein Wort, das tönend im Herzen des Menschen klingt.... Wer diesen Zustand erreichet, der kann sich überaus glücklich schätzen, hat er doch den unleugbaren Beweis, daß Gott ihn liebt und ihn beglücken will und dies durch das tönende Wort kundgibt. Dann aber gibt es keine Zweifel mehr, dann hat der Mensch auf Erden schon den Grad erreicht, den seine Seele benötigt zum Zusammenschluß mit Gott. Dann lebt er nur noch, um eine ihm zugewiesene Mission zu erfüllen, doch sein Sehnen gilt nun unausgesetzt dem geistigen Reich, um mit dem Ziel seiner Sehnsucht, mit Gott, aufs innigste verbunden zu sein und zu bleiben bis in alle Ewigkeit....
