Prayer for poor souls....

Do not forget those who have crossed over into the beyond in distress of soul. For they need your help. They are too weak to be able to help themselves and are eternally grateful to you if you assist them and give them strength through your prayer. Love must be the reason for this prayer, love for the weak, the unredeemed, which you do not want to let suffer, for which you want to reduce suffering as far as it is within your power. If you could take a look into the kingdom of the unredeemed souls on earth, deep compassion would fill your heart and your will to help would be stimulated if only a spark of love glows within you. For their fate is an unspeakably sad one which, even if self-inflicted, impels every compassionate soul to help. In frightening darkness they dwell, according to the degree of their imperfection, and their surroundings, if they are dimly able to recognize them, are barren and unfriendly, and yet they themselves are too weak to leave the place where they dwell and create a better state for themselves, and therefore their hardship is excessive because everything causes them agony. And you can reduce their torment by taking care of the poor souls in prayer, by trying to imagine their great hardship with compassion and remembering them in heartfelt prayer.... by further reciting the gospel to them in spirit, i.e. by trying to make the blessing of love clear to them and presenting love as the only means of solution. As soon as you succeed in igniting the spark of love in a poor soul it will be saved for eternity, for then it will be able to receive strength directly from the kingdom of light, the inhabitants of which are likewise busy working on those souls but can only take action when a small desire for light and a spark of love can be recognized in the soul and when love is expressed in such a way that it wants to help the suffering souls. Then strength will be supplied to it in increased measure and now the ascent in the spiritual kingdom will begin. But never ever should you leave the souls to their fate, for only love redeems, and only a loving attitude towards them can provide them with relief from their suffering. And therefore your prayer must come from the heart, it must not just be a lip prayer, but love for the weak, helpless must impel you to sincerely appeal to God for mercy and help for these souls, you yourselves must be driven by the feeling to ease their fate and you must often turn your thoughts towards them, who already feel this as a relief and sense every loving prayer as a grant of strength. Do not forget these souls, for they need you and will be eternally grateful to you if you have helped them from the depths to the heights, from the night of their surroundings into the light....

La preghiera per povere anime

Non dimenticate coloro che sono passati nell’aldilà nella miseria dell’anima, perché hanno bisogno del vostro aiuto. Sono troppo deboli per poter aiutare sé stessi, e vi saranno eternamente grati se li assistete e date loro forza attraverso la vostra preghiera. Questa preghiera dev’essere il motivo l’amore, l’amore per il debole, il non redento che non volete lasciare soffrire, al quale volete diminuire la sofferenza per quanto stia nella vostra forza.

Se poteste dare sulla Terra uno sguardo in quel Regno delle anime non redenti, una compassione profonda colmerebbe il vostro cuore e la vostra volontà di aiutare verrebbe stimolata, se soltanto arde in voi una scintilla d’amore, perché la loro sorte è indicibilmente triste che, anche se causata da loro stessi, spinge ogni anima sensibile ad aiutare. Soggiornano nell’oscurità spaventosa, secondo il grado della loro imperfezione, ed il loro ambiente è, se sono in grado di riconoscerlo debolmente, deserto e triste, e ciononostante loro stesse sono troppo deboli per abbandonare il luogo del loro soggiorno e per procurarsi uno stato migliore, e perciò la loro miseria è ultragrande, perché tutto procura loro dei tormenti.

E voi potete diminuire loro questi tormenti, mentre vi prendete cura delle povere anime nella preghiera, mentre cercate di immaginarvi la loro grande miseria pieni di compassione e pensate a loro nell’intima preghiera, mentre inoltre recitate loro nello spirito il Vangelo, cioè se cercate di rendere loro chiara la benedizione dell’amore e presentate loro l’amore come unico mezzo di salvezza. Appena vi riesce di accendere la scintilla d’amore in una povera anima, lei è salva per l’Eternità, perché allora può ricevere direttamente la Forza dal Regno di Luce, i cui abitanti sono pure attivi in modo fervente su quelle anime, che però possono entrare in azione soltanto se nell’anima è riconoscibile un piccolo desiderio per la Luce ed una piccola scintilla d’amore e quando l’amore si manifesta nel fatto che vorrebbe aiutare altre anime sofferenti. Allora le viene apportata Forza in aumentata misura ed ora inizia la risalita nel Regno spirituale.

Non dovete mai lasciare le anime al loro destino, perché soltanto l’amore salva, e soltanto un pensare a loro nell’amore può procurare loro lenimento nella loro sofferenza. Perciò la vostra preghiera deve procedere dal cuore, non deve essere soltanto una preghiera di labbra, ma vi deve spingere l’amore per il debole, l’inerme, di chiedere intimamente la Grazia e l’Aiuto di Dio, per dare sollievo alla loro sorte e perciò dovete rivolgere a loro più sovente i vostri pensieri, che sentono questo già come sollievo e sentono ogni amorevole preghiera come apporto di Forza. Non dimenticate queste anime, perché hanno bisogno di voi e vi saranno eternamente grate, se avete loro aiutato dall’abisso in Alto, di giungere dalla notte del loro ambiente alla Luce.
