Spiritual looking....

By means of spiritual vision the human being could gain insight into the spiritual kingdom, but this requires a degree of maturity of the soul which only a human being on earth rarely achieves. But the spiritual kingdom is no longer closed to him, earthly matter and the material cover of his soul is no longer an obstacle for him to rise from earth and walk in otherworldly realms for his own education and to increase his soul's maturity. Only the seriously striving and thirsting for truth will be granted this grace, and likewise, only from him will people be able to receive enlightenment who likewise strive for spiritual maturity, for what God has concealed from people will remain concealed from them until they themselves fulfil the laws which result in the lifting of the veil. The more perfect a person is on earth the deeper is his bond with the spiritual kingdom, for the gulf between the human being and the spiritual kingdom is only the imperfection of the former; if this is remedied the bridge is already built on which the human being, i.e. his soul, can swing into the spiritual kingdom at any time in order to receive riches there which further its spiritual development. The soul can also stay unconsciously in those realms, i.e., without the human being becoming fully conscious, thus his bodily sensations remain unaffected by the fact that the human being as such is unaware of it, whereas the soul derives the greatest advantage from it because it is constantly instructed and thus increases in strength and power in order to further educate itself spiritually in a conscious state, and thus covers the earthly path in constant striving for perfection. But if the human being is fully aware of what the soul has seen in the spiritual kingdom, then he has reached a higher stage of development and is also close to his physical end. His stay on earth then only has the purpose of explaining to those who strive but have not yet attained that perfection, and who are thereby to be spurred on to spiritual activity, to strive for perfection. However, the impressions will only be comprehensible to these fellow human beings, for the spiritual kingdom exhibits infinitely many deviations from the earthly kingdom, and only when the human being penetrates deeper spiritual knowledge through loving activity will the explanations of a spiritual observer be comprehensible to him, because earthly laws are eliminated and understanding spiritual laws requires a degree of perfection. Yet the soul of the spiritually observant person is immeasurably delighted by what reveals itself to it in the spiritual kingdom, and it only lives earthly life as if in a dream because it has recognized that it is not the soul's true life, that its true home is the spiritual kingdom and that actual life only begins when it can enter the spiritual kingdom without a material cover. It also appreciates the extraordinary grace that the spiritual vision has been opened to it and is full of gratitude and praise towards its creator, its father of eternity, Whose commandments it only strives to fulfil on earth and to Whom it is therefore also spiritually and mentally bound and will remain so for all eternity....

Geistiges Schauen....

Vermöge der geistigen Sehe könnte der Mensch Einblick nehmen in das geistige Reich, doch es erfordert dies einen Reifegrad der Seele, den selten nur ein Mensch auf Erden erreicht. Diesem aber ist das geistige Reich nicht mehr verschlossen, für ihn ist die irdische Materie und die materielle Hülle seiner Seele kein Hindernis mehr, sich von der Erde zu erheben und zu wandeln in jenseitigen Gefilden zur eigenen Schulung und zur Erhöhung seiner Seelenreife. Nur dem ernstlich Strebenden und nach der Wahrheit Dürstenden wird diese Gnade zuteil, und ebenso wird auch nur von ihm aus den Menschen Aufklärung gegeben werden können, die gleichfalls streben nach geistiger Reife, denn was Gott den Menschen verborgen hat, wird ihnen verborgen bleiben, bis sie selbst die Gesetze erfüllen, die ein Lüften des Schleiers zur Folge haben. Je vollkommener ein Mensch auf Erden ist, desto tiefer ist auch die Bindung von ihm mit dem geistigen Reich, denn die Kluft zwischen dem Menschen und dem geistigen Reich ist nur die Unvollkommenheit des ersteren; wird diese behoben, so ist die Brücke schon geschlagen, auf welcher der Mensch, d.h. dessen Seele, jederzeit in das geistige Reich sich schwingen kann, um dort Reichtümer entgegenzunehmen, die ihre geistige Entwicklung fördern. Es kann die Seele auch unbewußt in jenen Gefilden weilen, d.h., ohne daß es dem Menschen vollbewußt wird, also seine körperlichen Empfindungen unberührt bleiben davon, daß der Mensch als solcher es nicht weiß, während die Seele größten Vorteil davon zieht, weil sie ständig belehrt wird und also zunimmt an Kraft und Stärke, um sich im bewußten Zustand weiter geistig zu bilden, und den Erdenweg also zurücklegt in stetem Streben nach Vollkommenheit. Ist aber der Mensch sich vollbewußt dessen, was die Seele im geistigen Reich geschaut hat, dann ist er auf einer höheren Entwicklungsstufe angelangt und auch nahe vor seinem leiblichen Ende. Sein Verweilen auf der Erde hat dann nur noch den Zweck, erklärend zu wirken denen gegenüber, die streben, aber es noch nicht zu jener Vollkommenheit gebracht haben, und die dadurch angespornt werden sollen zu geistiger Tätigkeit, zum Streben nach Vollkommenheit. Faßlich werden die Eindrücke aber auch nur diesen Mitmenschen sein, denn das geistige Reich weiset unendlich viele Abweichungen auf von dem irdischen Reich, und erst, so der Mensch in tieferes geistiges Wissen eindringt durch Wirken in Liebe, sind ihm die Erklärungen eines geistig Schauenden verständlich, weil irdische Gesetze ausschalten und, geistige Gesetze zu verstehen, einen Grad der Vollkommenheit voraussetzt. Doch die Seele des geistig Schauenden ist maßlos beglückt von dem, was sich ihr im geistigen Reich offenbart, und sie lebt das Erdenleben nur noch wie in einem Traum, weil sie erkannt hat, daß es nicht das wahre Leben der Seele ist, daß deren wahre Heimat das geistige Reich ist und daß erst dann das eigentliche Leben beginnt, wenn sie eingehen kann ohne materielle Hülle in das geistige Reich.... Sie weiß auch jene außergewöhnliche Gnade zu schätzen, daß ihr die geistige Sehe geöffnet ist, und ist voller Dank- und Lobpreisung gegen ihren Schöpfer, ihren Vater von Ewigkeit, Dessen Gebote zu erfüllen ihr einziges Streben ist auf Erden und Dem sie darum auch verbunden ist seelisch und geistig und bleiben wird bis in alle Ewigkeit....
