Harvest time.... reapers....

God has great plans, for the time of harvest has come. The reapers are not yet at work, the time of ripening is still, but it will soon be over, and fruits will be gathered into the barns, but the weeds will be burned. And before the last harvest, God Himself once again walks over His fields.... He shows Himself as lord of the world, on Whose behalf His reapers are active, who strive to produce a rich harvest for their lord. He Himself walks over the fields.... He wants to be seen and recognized and therefore lets His voice resound audibly. For His fields are people's hearts which shall yield good fruit but which have to be cleansed of weeds so that the seed will come up.... And everywhere He orders the activity of His labourers, so that His fields may be well tilled. But men resist His labourers, they leave the field uncultivated so that it remains without fruit.... Their hearts do not take up seed, they do not know God as their lord, and in the end the field will only have weeds and these will fall into the fire.... The field is the human heart, to which God constantly supplies good seed, but which must receive it of its own free will if it wants to be richly blessed with fruit at harvest time and be able to stand before the eye of its lord.... But when the lord Himself walks through the fields, He admonishes the tenants of His fields to cultivate well.... He makes Himself heard, so that they cannot say they are without fault and without knowledge of their task on earth. He will throb at every human heart and admonish and warn to make the defaulters work and make use of the last time until the day of harvest comes. And His language will be powerful so that it will not remain unheard, yet anyone who does not listen to it, who turns his back on Him and closes his ear, will be crushed by His wrath on the day of judgment, when everyone will be rewarded according to merit.... His labourers know the voice of their lord and gladly obey it, they are diligently active and cultivate the fields for the pleasure of their lord, and when He comes as a final reminder, they will not be frightened but be all the more eager to work, for they know that the time of harvest has come, that the day of judgment is no longer far away, when all good fruit will be gathered into the barns, but the weeds and the chaff will be destroyed in the eternal fire of divine justice....

추수의 때. 추수할 일꾼.

하나님은 큰 계획을 가지고 있다. 왜냐면 추수할 때가 되었기 때문이다. 수확할 일꾼이 아직 일을 시작하지 않았고, 때가 아직 성숙해져야 할 때이다. 그러나 이 때는 빠르게 끝이 날 것이고, 열매는 창고로 모아질 것이고, 잡초는 태워질 것이다. 마지막 수확을 하기 전에 하나님 자신이 밭을 다시 한번 지나가실 것이다. 하나님은 자신을 세상의 주인임을 보여주고, 하나님의 사명을 받아 하나님의 추수하는 일꾼들이 일하는 것을 보여준다. 일꾼들은 주님을 위해 풍성한 수확을 얻기 위해 노력한다. 하나님 자신이 경작지를 가로 질러 걷는다. 하나님은 사람들이 자신을 바라보고 깨닫기를 원한다. 그러므로 들을 수 있게 자신의 목소리가 울리게 한다. 왜냐면 그의 밭은 사람들의 심장이기 때문이다. 사람들의 심장은 좋은 열매를 맺어야 한다. 그러나 씨앗이 자라게 하기 위해 잡초를 깨끗하게 제거해야만 한다.

하나님은 어디에서나 자신의 일꾼들에게 할 일을 명한다. 이로써 자신의 밭을 잘 가꾸게 한다. 그러나 사람들은 하나님의 일꾼들의 일을 방해하고, 밭이 열매가 없는 상태로 남아 있도록 밭을 개간하지 않고 남겨 둔다. 그들의 심장은 어떤 씨앗도 받아드리지 않고, 하나님을 그들의 주님으로 깨닫지 못하고, 결국 밭은 단지 잡초만 무성하게 되고, 잡초들은 불에 태워지게 될 것이다. 밭은 인간의 심장이다. 하나님은 계속해서 좋은 씨를 인간의 심장에 공급하지만, 인간의 심장이 자유의지로 좋은 씨를 영접해야만 한다. 그러면 비로소 추수 때에 풍성한 열매로 축복을 받게 되고 주님의 눈앞에 합격할 수 있게 된다.

그러나 주님이 친히 밭을 걸으실 때 밭의 소작인에게 일을 잘하라고 훈계한다. 주님은 사람들이 자신들의 잘못이 아니고 이 땅에서 의 과제를 향한 지식이 없다고 말할 수 없도록 자신의 말을 들려준다. 주님은 채무 불이행자들이 수확의 날이 올 때까지 마지막 시간을 활용하여 일하게 만들기 위해 모든 인간의 심장을 두드리고 훈계하고 경고할 것이다. 그의 음성은 들리지 않게 되지 않도록 강력할 것이다. 그러나 주님의 음성을 듣지 않는 사람은, 주님에게 등을 돌리고 귀를 닫는 사람은 주님의 분노가 심판의 날에 그를 짓밟을 것이다. 이 때에 모든 사람이 행한 일에 따라 상급을 받게 될 것이다.

주님의 일꾼들은 주님의 목소리를 알고 기쁨으로 주님의 목소리를 따른다. 그들은 그들의 주님을 기쁘게 하기 위해 열심히 일하고 밭을 경작한다. 주님이 마지막 경고로써 오시게 되면, 그들은 두려워하지 않고, 더욱 열심히 일한다. 왜냐면 그들은 추수의 때가 온 것을 알고, 모든 좋은 열매를 창고로 모으게 되고, 잡초와 겨는 영원한 하나님의 공의의 불로 없애버리기 될 심판의 날이 멀지 않음을 알기 때문이다.
