Harvest time.... reapers....

God has great plans, for the time of harvest has come. The reapers are not yet at work, the time of ripening is still, but it will soon be over, and fruits will be gathered into the barns, but the weeds will be burned. And before the last harvest, God Himself once again walks over His fields.... He shows Himself as lord of the world, on Whose behalf His reapers are active, who strive to produce a rich harvest for their lord. He Himself walks over the fields.... He wants to be seen and recognized and therefore lets His voice resound audibly. For His fields are people's hearts which shall yield good fruit but which have to be cleansed of weeds so that the seed will come up.... And everywhere He orders the activity of His labourers, so that His fields may be well tilled. But men resist His labourers, they leave the field uncultivated so that it remains without fruit.... Their hearts do not take up seed, they do not know God as their lord, and in the end the field will only have weeds and these will fall into the fire.... The field is the human heart, to which God constantly supplies good seed, but which must receive it of its own free will if it wants to be richly blessed with fruit at harvest time and be able to stand before the eye of its lord.... But when the lord Himself walks through the fields, He admonishes the tenants of His fields to cultivate well.... He makes Himself heard, so that they cannot say they are without fault and without knowledge of their task on earth. He will throb at every human heart and admonish and warn to make the defaulters work and make use of the last time until the day of harvest comes. And His language will be powerful so that it will not remain unheard, yet anyone who does not listen to it, who turns his back on Him and closes his ear, will be crushed by His wrath on the day of judgment, when everyone will be rewarded according to merit.... His labourers know the voice of their lord and gladly obey it, they are diligently active and cultivate the fields for the pleasure of their lord, and when He comes as a final reminder, they will not be frightened but be all the more eager to work, for they know that the time of harvest has come, that the day of judgment is no longer far away, when all good fruit will be gathered into the barns, but the weeds and the chaff will be destroyed in the eternal fire of divine justice....

Zeit der Ernte.... Schnitter....

Großes hat Gott vor, denn die Zeit der Ernte ist gekommen. Noch sind die Schnitter nicht an der Arbeit, noch ist die Zeit des Ausreifens, doch schnell wird sie vorüber sein, und Früchte werden gesammelt werden in die Scheunen, das Unkraut aber verbrannt werden. Und vor der letzten Ernte schreitet Gott Selbst noch einmal über Seine Felder.... Er zeigt Sich als Herr der Welt, in Dessen Auftrag Seine Schnitter tätig sind, die sich bemühen, eine reiche Ernte für ihren Herrn zu erzielen. Er schreitet Selbst über die Felder.... Er will gesehen und erkannt werden und läßt deshalb vernehmbar Seine Stimme ertönen. Denn Seine Äcker sind die Herzen der Menschen, die gute Früchte zeitigen sollen, die aber gereinigt werden müssen vom Unkraut, auf daß die Saat aufgehe.... Und überall ordnet Er die Tätigkeit Seiner Arbeiter an, auf daß Seine Äcker gut bestellt werden. Doch die Menschen wehren Seinen Arbeitern, sie lassen das Feld unbestellt, daß es ohne Früchte bleibt.... Ihre Herzen nehmen keine Saat auf, sie kennen Gott nicht als ihren Herrn an, und der Acker wird am Ende nur Unkraut aufweisen und dieses dem Feuer verfallen.... Der Acker ist das menschliche Herz, dem Gott unentwegt guten Samen zuführt, das aber in freiem Willen diesen aufnehmen muß, will es zur Zeit der Ernte mit Früchten reich gesegnet sein und bestehen können vor dem Auge seines Herrn.... Doch so der Herr Selbst durch die Felder schreitet, mahnet Er die Pächter Seiner Äcker zur guten Bestellung.... Er bringt Sich zu Gehör, auf daß sie nicht sagen können, unverschuldet und ohne Kenntnis ihrer Aufgabe auf Erden zu sein. Er wird an jedes menschliche Herz pochen und mahnen und warnen, um die Säumigen zur Arbeit zu veranlassen und die letzte Zeit auszunützen, bis der Tag der Ernte gekommen ist. Und Seine Sprache wird mächtig sein, so daß sie nicht ungehört bleibt, doch wer ihr nicht Gehör schenkt, wer Ihm den Rücken zukehrt und sein Ohr verschließet, den wird Sein Zorn zermalmen am Tage des Gerichtes, wo jeder nach Verdienst gelohnet wird.... Seine Arbeiter kennen die Stimme ihres Herrn und kommen ihr freudig nach, sie sind emsig tätig und bestellen die Äcker zum Wohlgefallen ihres Herrn, und so Er kommen wird als letzte Mahnung, werden sie nicht erschrecken, sondern desto eifriger tätig sein, denn sie wissen, daß die Zeit der Ernte gekommen ist, daß der Tag des Gerichtes nicht mehr fern ist, wo alle guten Früchte gesammelt werden in die Scheuern, das Unkraut und die Spreu aber vertilgt werden im ewigen Feuer göttlicher Gerechtigkeit....
