Only love redeems on earth and in the hereafter....

Neither on earth nor in the beyond is spiritual ascent possible without loving activity, for love alone leads to God, love alone reduces the distance from the human being to God, and love alone brings about union with God. Therefore it is the greatest commandment on earth to be lovingly active, otherwise earthly life will be lived uselessly and the soul will enter the beyond at the same distance from God as it was before its embodiment as a human being. But earthly life is the last grace for the spiritual in the earthly world.... then life begins in eternity, in the spiritual kingdom, which can also be a state of death, a state of powerlessness which can never be called life. And now there is only one possibility again to ascend through loving activity.... but activity in weakness is impossible, and therefore the soul is in greatest adversity because it first has to accept strength in order to be able to work in love. And this acceptance of strength is again dependent on its will, which has to be directed towards loving activity for other souls. But a weak soul is extremely weak-willed if it does not have a completely God-opposing will and gives itself over to the forces of the underworld. And a weakened will is hardly able to strive for a change of situation for itself, even less does the soul think of the suffering souls and use its will correctly, i.e. it carries the will within itself to help them. Yet only this will to be lovingly active towards needy souls provides it with the strength which it can now use and thereby treads the path of ascent itself. Until the soul develops the will to love within itself its state will be desolate and hopeless, for only love alone brings redemption from its torment. And this is why the ascent in the beyond is far more difficult than on earth, and endless time can pass before the soul decides to work with love, whereas on earth the human being is in full possession of his vitality and the slightest occasion can impel him into an act of love, which he can therefore also carry out immediately because he is capable of it. The being's inability in the beyond is a state of utmost agony, for after earthly life the being feels it as a fetter which it cannot release. And since it passed away on earth without love it also does not know about its strength. It is now dependent on the help of other souls which try to persuade it to have the right will through suggestions, and on the prayer of people on earth that strength will be supplied to it which is meant for its weakened will. Redemption can never take place through other beings, the soul has to redeem itself through love.... This is divine law which can never be circumvented. And this is why God creates countless possibilities on earth which are intended to kindle love in the human being, so that he will now work and thereby mature his soul, so that he will not enter the beyond as a powerless being but is already a recipient of strength, i.e. he can enter eternity as a being of light himself, albeit with varying degrees of light strength, yet always able to work with his strength in love again on the suffering souls and constantly increase the degree of light. For love has to be practiced on earth as well as in the spiritual kingdom, it is the binding agent between the souls and God, because God Himself is love and the being can only unite with Him if it has become love itself....

단지 사랑이 이 땅과 저세상에서 구원한다.

이 땅에서나 저세상에서 사랑을 행하지 않고 영적으로 성장하는 일은 불가능하다. 왜냐면 사랑이 유일하게 하나님께 인도하고, 사랑이 유일하게 사람과 하나님과의 간격을 좁히고, 사랑이 유일하게 하나님과 연합하게 하기 때문이다. 그러므로 사랑을 행하는 일이 이 땅에서 가장 큰 계명이다. 그렇지 않으면 이 땅의 삶을 쓸모 없이 산 것이 되고, 혼은 인간으로 육신을 입기 전에 가졌던 하나님과의 같은 간격을 가지고 저세상으로 들어간다. 그러나 이 땅의 삶은 영적인 존재에게 이 땅의 세계에서 마지막 은혜이다. 그러면 삶은 영원 가운데 영의 나라에서 시작이 되고, 이 나라가 또한 죽음의 상태와 절대로 생명이라고 할 수 없는 무기력한 성태가 될 수 있다.

이제 다시 단지 사랑을 행하는 일을 통해 성장할 수 있는 유일한 가능성이 있다. 그러나 무기력한 상태에서 역사하는 일은 불가능하다. 그러므로 혼이 가장 큰 위험에 처하게 된다. 왜냐면 사랑을 행할 수 있기 위해 먼저 힘을 받아야만 하기 때문이다. 이런 힘을 받는 일은 다시 혼의 의지에 달려 있고, 사랑을 행하는 일이 다른 혼들에게 사랑을 행하는 일이 돼야만 한다. 무기력한 혼이 전적으로 하나님을 멀리하지 안았고, 자신을 지하 세계의 세력에게 드리지 않았다면, 혼의 의지가 연약하고, 연약한 의지는 스스로 자신의 형편의 변화를 위해 전혀 추구할 수 없고, 그들 안에 같이 고통을 당하는 혼은 긍휼히 여기고, 이런 혼들을 도우려는 그들의 의지를 올바르게 사용할 수 없다.

그러나 단지 위험 가운데 고통당하는 혼들에게 사랑을 행하려는 의지가 혼에게 힘을 주고, 혼이 이제 이 힘을 사용할 수 있게 된다. 이로써 혼은 스스로 높은 곳으로 향한 길을 가게 된다. 혼이 자신 안의 사랑하려는 의지를 펼치기 전의 혼의 상태는 절망적이고 소망이 없는 상태이다. 왜냐면 단지 유일하게 사랑이 고통으로부터 벗어날 수 있게 하기 때문이다. 그러므로 저세상에서 성장하는 일은 이 땅에서 보다 훨씬 더 어렵고, 혼이 사랑을 행하기로 결정하기까지, 끝 없이 긴 시간이 지나갈 수 있다. 반면에 인간은 이 땅에서 그의 생명력을 충분히 소유하고 있고, 가장 작은 일이 원인이 되어 그가 사랑을 행하도록 인도할 수 있고, 그는 또한 즉시 사랑을 행할 수 있다. 왜냐면 그에게 사랑을 행할 힘이 있기 때문이다.

저세상에 있는 존재의 무기력은 극심한 고통의 상태이다. 왜냐면 존재는 이 땅의 삶을 산 후에 무기력을 자유롭게 될 수 없는 속박으로 느끼기 때문이다. 혼이 사랑이 없이 이 땅의 삶을 살았기 때문에 혼은 사랑의 힘에 대해 알지 못하고, 혼은 이제 다른 혼들의 도움에 의존되게 된다. 다른 혼들은 올바른 제안을 혼에게 해주면서 혼이 올바른 의지를 갖게 하려고 노력한다. 혼은 또한 연약한 의지를 가진 혼에게 힘을 주는 이 땅의 사람의 기도에 의존되게 된다. 구원은 절대로 다른 존재를 통해 얻을 수 없고, 혼이 스스로 사랑을 통해 자신을 구원해야만 한다. 이는 절대로 피할 수 없는 하나님의 법이다.

그러므로 하나님은 이 땅에서 인간 안에 사랑이 불타오르게 하는 셀 수 없이 많은 가능성을 만들어 준다. 이로써 사람이 이제 일하고, 이런 일을 통해 자신의 혼을 성장하게 하고, 그가 무기력한 존재로 저세상에 들어 가지 않고, 이미 힘을 받는 존재가 되게 한다. 즉 비록 사람이 서로 다른 빛의 강도를 가질지라도 자신이 빛의 존재로써 영원 안으로 들어갈 수 있게 한다. 이로써 그는 항상 자신의 힘으로 고통받는 혼에게 사랑을 향할 힘이 있고 끊임없이 빛의 정도를 높인다. 왜냐면 사랑은 이 땅과 같이 영의 나라에서도 행해져야만 하기 때문이다. 사랑은 혼과 하나님 사이를 연결시키는 도구이다. 왜냐면 하나님 자신이 사랑이고 존재 자신이 스스로 사랑이 되면, 존재가 단지 하나님과 연합할 수 있기 때문이다.
