World of being.... world of appearance....

From the world of appearance the soul enters the world of being, the spiritual world, which is the real realm of the soul. But it is not always able to recognize this spiritual world, for as soon as it imperfectly departs from earth, it still takes the world of appearance over, only no longer materially, but as mental phantoms, thus even more illusory world, which fades into nothing before its eyes, if it wants to take possession of the goods. But for the perfect soul true life only begins now, it recognizes itself in its nature, knows about its spiritual task and through knowledge has only become a being which is aware of its strength and therefore is also blissful. It now also knows that every phase of development was previously necessary in order to reach the aim, the soul's true life, it knows that previously it was only an illusory life, a transition from the spheres of darkness into the spheres of light; it knows that darkness is not an eternal state, whereas light is and remains for all eternity. For what once stands in the light will never again fall back into darkness, it will live eternally and recognize every state before as a lifeless state.... it has overcome this state and has returned to the world of being from which it once emanated.... The illusory life wants to place itself in the foreground, and for the most part the soul grants it power over itself, i.e., it is willing to do everything that provides the body with the comforts of the illusory life, and it does nothing for itself, because the work for itself would be the effort for true life, but which it completely disregards. And that is why, through God's will, the illusory life will again and again approach the soul in all heaviness; God Himself wants to show it what the earthly world really is by often causing the body to suffer hardship, by depriving it of what it desires as valuable, by letting what the human being has built up collapse in order to show him the impermanence of what he makes the aim of his eager striving and earthly work. He wants to lead him to the realization that the earthly world is only an illusory world which has no lasting value for him, in order to make him aware of the necessity of working on his soul which ensures a constant life, a life in the spiritual world which not only appears but is what it represents.... the world of light, where everything is power-flooded and blissful, where there is no more decay, no more decline, no hardship and no ignorance, where everything lives and is active in the will of God, Whose love unmeasuredly considers and makes happy the perfect, which, as inhabitants of the spiritual world, is in intimate connection with God and, in the fulfilment of His will through everlasting activity, finds its highest happiness in the world of being.... in the world that never passes away but remains what it is for all eternity....

존재의 세계. 외적인 세계.

혼은 외적인 세계에서 존재의 세계로, 실제 혼의 나라인 영의 세계로 들어선다. 그러나 혼이 항상이 영의 세계를 깨달을 수 있는 것은 아니다. 왜냐면 혼이 온전하지 못한 상태에서 이 땅을 떠나면, 혼은 겉보기의 세계를 가지고 가지 때문이다. 그러면 이런 겉보기의 세계는 더 이상 물질적으로만 존재하는 것이 아니라 생각의 허상으로, 즉 훨씬 더 겉보기의 세계이고, 혼이 재물을 소유하기 원하면, 그의 눈 앞에서 사라져버린다. 그러나 온전한 혼은 이제 비로소 진정한 삶을 시작하고, 스스로 자신의 상태를 깨닫고, 자신의 영적인 과제를 알고, 이런 지식을 통해 자신의 힘을 의식하는 존재가 된다. 그러므로 혼은 또한 축복되게 된다.

혼은 이제 목표를 달성하기 위해, 혼의 진정한 생명에 도달하기 위해 이전의 모든 성장 단계가 필요했음을 알고, 이 전의 삶은 단지 겉보기의 삶이었고, 어두움의 영역에서 빛의 영역으로의 전환되는 과정임을 안다. 혼은 어두움이 영원한 상태가 아닌 반면에 빛은 모든 영원에 영원까지 존재하고, 머문다는 것을 안다. 왜냐면 한번 빛 안에 서게 된 존재는 다시는 어두움 속으로 떨어지지 않을 것이고, 영원히 살 것이고, 이 전의 모든 상태를 생명이 없는 상태로 깨달을 것이기 때문이다. 존재는 이런 상태를 극복했고 한때 자신이 생성된 존재의 세계로 돌아 갔다.

겉보기의 삶은 자신을 전면에 두기를 원하고 대부분 혼은 겉보기의 삶에게 자신에 대한 권세를 부여하다. 즉 혼은 겉보기의 삶이 육체에게 편안함을 제공하는 모든 일을 자원하여 행하고, 자신을 위해서는 아무 일도 하지 않는다. 왜냐면 자신을 위한 작업은 진정한 삶을 위한 노력이고, 혼이 이런 노력에 전혀 주의를 기울이지 않기 때문이다. 그러므로 하나님의 뜻에 의해 겉보기의 삶의 모든 어려움이 항상 또 다시 혼에게 일어난다. 하나님 자신이 육체가 자주 곤경에 빠지게 하면서, 육체가 가치가 큰 것으로 갈망하는 것을 빼앗으면서, 사람이 열심을 드려 추구하고 그의 이 땅의 일의 내용인 사람이 건설한 것이 지속되지 않음을 보여주기 위해 무너지게 하면서 혼에게 세상의 삶이 실제 무엇인지 알려주기를 원한다.

하나님은 그에게 그의 혼을 위해 일할 필요성을 보여주기 위해 그가 이 땅의 세계가 지속되는 가치가 전혀 없는 단지 환상의 세계임을 깨닫게 해주기를 원한다. 혼에 대한 작업은 지속적인 삶과 영의 나라의 삶을 보장하고, 겉모양뿐만 아니라 혼이 생각하는 대로 빛의 세계의 삶을 보장한다. 이 세계는 모든 힘으로 충만하고 축복 되고, 사라지는 것이 전혀 없고, 퇴보와 위험과 무지가 없고, 모든 것이 살아있고, 하나님의 뜻대로 일하고, 하나님의 사랑이 온전한 존재를 측량할 수 없게 돌보고, 행복하게 하고, 영의 세계의 거주자로서 하나님과 긴밀한 관계를 맺고, 영원한 활동을 통해 존재 세계에서 그의 뜻을 성취하면서 가장 높은 행복을 찾고, 절대로 사라지지 않고, 있는 그대로 모든 영원에까지 남아 있는 세계이다.
