World of being.... world of appearance....

From the world of appearance the soul enters the world of being, the spiritual world, which is the real realm of the soul. But it is not always able to recognize this spiritual world, for as soon as it imperfectly departs from earth, it still takes the world of appearance over, only no longer materially, but as mental phantoms, thus even more illusory world, which fades into nothing before its eyes, if it wants to take possession of the goods. But for the perfect soul true life only begins now, it recognizes itself in its nature, knows about its spiritual task and through knowledge has only become a being which is aware of its strength and therefore is also blissful. It now also knows that every phase of development was previously necessary in order to reach the aim, the soul's true life, it knows that previously it was only an illusory life, a transition from the spheres of darkness into the spheres of light; it knows that darkness is not an eternal state, whereas light is and remains for all eternity. For what once stands in the light will never again fall back into darkness, it will live eternally and recognize every state before as a lifeless state.... it has overcome this state and has returned to the world of being from which it once emanated.... The illusory life wants to place itself in the foreground, and for the most part the soul grants it power over itself, i.e., it is willing to do everything that provides the body with the comforts of the illusory life, and it does nothing for itself, because the work for itself would be the effort for true life, but which it completely disregards. And that is why, through God's will, the illusory life will again and again approach the soul in all heaviness; God Himself wants to show it what the earthly world really is by often causing the body to suffer hardship, by depriving it of what it desires as valuable, by letting what the human being has built up collapse in order to show him the impermanence of what he makes the aim of his eager striving and earthly work. He wants to lead him to the realization that the earthly world is only an illusory world which has no lasting value for him, in order to make him aware of the necessity of working on his soul which ensures a constant life, a life in the spiritual world which not only appears but is what it represents.... the world of light, where everything is power-flooded and blissful, where there is no more decay, no more decline, no hardship and no ignorance, where everything lives and is active in the will of God, Whose love unmeasuredly considers and makes happy the perfect, which, as inhabitants of the spiritual world, is in intimate connection with God and, in the fulfilment of His will through everlasting activity, finds its highest happiness in the world of being.... in the world that never passes away but remains what it is for all eternity....

Il mondo dell’essere - Il mondo dell’apparenza

Dal mondo dell’apparenza l’anima entra nel mondo dell’essere, nel mondo spirituale che è il vero Regno dell’anima. Ma non riesce sempre riconoscere questo mondo spirituale, perché appena è deceduta imperfetta dalla Terra, si porta con sé il mondo dell’apparenza, soltanto non più così materiale, ma come fenomeno mentale, quindi ancora di più come mondo apparente che scompare in nulla davanti ai suoi occhi, quando vuole prendere possesso dei beni. Per l’anima perfetta però comincia solo ora la vera Vita, riconosce sé stessa nella sua costituzione, sà del suo compito spirituale e solo attraverso il sapere è diventata un essere che si rende conto della sua Forza e perciò è anche felice e beata. Ora sà anche che ogni fase di sviluppo precedente era necessaria per raggiungere la meta, la vera Vita dell’anima, lei sà che dapprima era solo una vita apparente, un passaggio dalle sfere dell’oscurità nelle sfere della Luce; lei sà che l’oscurità non è uno stato eterno, mentre la Luce è e rimane in tutta l’Eternità. Perché ciò che sta una volta nella Luce, non ricadrà mai più nell’oscurità, vivrà eternamente e riconoscerà ogni stato precedente come senza vita, ha superato questo stato ed è ritornato nel mondo dell’essere, dal quale era una volta uscito. La vita apparente vuole mettersi nel proscenio e l’anima gli concede quasi sempre un potere su di sé, cioè è volenterosa di fare tutto ciò che procura piacevolezze al corpo e non fa nulla per sé stessa, perché il lavoro su di sé sarebbe lo sforzo per la vera Vita che però lascia del tutto inosservato. E perciò per Volontà di Dio la vita apparente si avvicinerà all’anima sempre di nuovo in tutta la gravità; Dio Stesso le vuole mostrare che cosa sia in realtà il mondo terreno, mentre Egli fa capitare sovente il corpo in miseria, mentre gli toglie ciò che desidera, mentre lascia crollare ciò che l’uomo si è costruito per mostrargli l’incostanza di ciò di cui si fa la meta del suo fervente tendere e del suo lavoro terreno. Lo vuole condurre alla conoscenza che il mondo terreno è soltanto un mondo d’apparenza, che non ha nessun valore duraturo, per guidare davanti ai suoi occhi la necessità del lavoro sulla sua anima, che assicura una Vita costante, una Vita nel mondo spirituale, che non sembra soltanto essere, ma è ciò che presenta, il mondo della Luce dove tutto è compenetrato dalla Forza ed è felice, dove non esiste più nessuno scomparire, nessuna retrocessione, nessuna miseria e nessuna ignoranza, dove tutto vive ed è attivo nella Volontà di Dio, il Cui Amore provvede smisuratamente il perfetto e lo rende felice, che come abitante del mondo spirituale sta in intimo collegamento con Dio e nell’esaudimento della Sua Volontà attraverso sempre continua attività trova la sua massima felicità nel mondo dell’essere, nel mondo che non scompare mai più, ma rimane ciò che è, in tutta l’Eternità.
