State of life.... activity.... serve....

In the night of death God's love is no longer effective on the being, i.e. its distance from God makes the being insensitive to it, and therefore its state is an extremely agonizing one which can only be lifted, i.e. alleviated, when the being strives towards God again through its will. Only then does it slowly begin to return from the completely powerless state into the state of life in which God's love can again have an effect on the beingness. The being never stands outside of God's love, but as long as it tries to withdraw itself from His love, it is also ineffective on it. But He constantly tries to persuade it to switch itself back into the circuit of divine love, and since it is initially too weak-willed or even has an opposing will, He binds this will insofar as that it is completely incapable of carrying it out. But since the being's freedom of will is its original nature it seeks to escape this banished state, and after endless times it declares itself willing to subordinate itself to God's will and thus to become active in accordance with His legislation, which underlies creation.... And then this activity is assigned to it, it is granted a relaxed envelopment in which it can now carry out what corresponds to God's will. It cannot act against it because it is in a state of compulsion, it is completely subject to God's will but through its willingness it has acquired the right to fulfil a task in the midst of creation which will always be a serving one towards another work of creation. But since it needs strength for every activity and therefore now also has it at its disposal, it has made itself receptive again through its will for God's strength of love. It can become effective on the beingness, even if it is unrecognized by the beingness itself in its darkness. The recognition of what the influx of the strength of love means for the beingness is only possible for the beingness in the state of free will, which can now step out of the darkness of the spirit into the brightest light embodied as a human being if it uses its free will correctly. The being's ascent development is only possible from the moment God's strength of love can take effect, and this effectiveness first requires the abandonment of resistance against God. Even if the being is too weak to strive towards God, the lack of will is nevertheless no longer open resistance against God, and the weakness of will can be remedied through the loving care of the perfect beingness, which constantly tries to move it towards God-turned thinking, as well as through the prayer of people on earth for all weak spiritual beings still languishing under the spell of matter.... If the beingness is willing to serve then it has overcome its weakness of will and progresses in its ascent development. And if, in the stage as a human being, service in love is the result of its free will, then God's strength of love will be fully effective in it, then the human being will have entered the state of life from the state of death, it will constantly receive strength from God, it will reduce its distance from Him and be constantly active in love. As a free, self-aware being it will act according to its own will and yet be subject to divine will, for since it is permeated by God's strength, which is love in itself, its entire being must also be love, and this is the effect of divine strength of love, that the being which does not close itself off to His strength of love also becomes love.... This is the state of life, of unity with God and of bliss, because the being feels the strength of love as highest happiness, as closeness to God and desire for constant activity....

Lo stato di vita – L’attività – Il servire

Nella notte della morte l’Amore di Dio non è più efficace sull’essenziale, cioè la sua lontananza da Dio rende l’essere insensibile per Questo e perciò il suo stato è oltremodo tormentoso che può essere sospeso, cioè mitigato solamente quando l’essere attraverso la sua volontà tende di nuovo ad avvicinarsi a Dio. Solo allora comincia lentamente a ritornare dallo stato di totale assenza di Forza in quello della Vita, nel quale l’Amore di Dio può di nuovo agire sull’essenziale. Questo stesso non stà comunque mai al di fuori dell’Amore di Dio, ma finché esso stesso cerca di sottrarsi al Suo Amore, questo è anche’inefficace su di lui. Ma Egli cerca sempre di muoverlo di includere sé stesso di nuovo nella Cerchia della Corrente dell’Amore divino e dato che inizialmente è senza volontà oppure è di volontà totalmente avversa, Egli lega questa volontà in quanto è totalmente incapace di eseguirla. Ma dato che la libertà della volontà è la costituzione primordiale dell’essenziale, cerca di fuggire a questo stato legato e dopo tempi infinitamente lunghi si dichiara pronto a subordinarsi alla Volontà di Dio e di essere quindi attivo secondo la Sua Legge che è alla base della Creazione. Ed allora gli viene assegnata questa attività, gli viene concesso un avvolgimento più allentato nel quale ora può eseguire ciò che corrisponde alla Volontà di Dio. Non può agire contro questa, perché si trova in uno stato di costrizione, è totalmente sottomesso alla Volontà di Dio, ma attraverso la sua volontaria disponibilità ha conquistato esso stesso il diritto di adempiere un compito in mezzo alla Creazione, che sarà sempre di servire nei confronti di un’altra Opera di Creazione. Ma dato che ha bisogno di Forza per ogni attività e quindi ora ne dispone anche, attraverso la sua volontà ha reso sé stesso di nuovo ricettivo per la Forza d’Amore di Dio. Questa può diventare efficace sull’essenziale, anche se da esso stesso non la riconosce nella sua oscurità. Riconoscere ciò che significa per l’essenziale l’afflusso della Forza d’Amore, gli è possibile solo nel suo stato della libera volontà, che ora incorporato come uomo può uscire dall’oscurità dello spirito ed entrare nella Luce più chiara, se utilizza bene la sua volontà. Uno sviluppo verso l’Alto dell’essenziale è possibile solo dal momento in cui Dio Stesso può agire e questa efficacia richiede dapprima la rinuncia alla resistenza contro Dio. Persino quando l’essere è troppo debole per tendere a Dio, l’assenza di volontà non è più comunque una aperta resistenza contro Dio e la debolezza di volontà può essere sospesa attraverso l’amorevole provvidenza dell’essenziale perfetto che cerca continuamente di rivolgere il suo pensare a Dio, come anche attraverso la preghiera degli uomini sulla Terra per tutto ciò che è debole, per lo spirituale che langue ancora nel bando della materia. Se l’essenziale è pronto a servire, allora ha superato la sua debolezza di volontà e procede nel suo sviluppo verso l’Alto. E se ora nello stadio come uomo il servire nell’amore è la conseguenza della sua libera volontà, allora la Forza d’Amore di Dio diventa pienamente efficace in lui, allora l’uomo è uscito dallo stato di morte ed è entrato nello stato di Vita, riceve continuamente la Forza di Dio, diminuisce la distanza da Lui ed è continuamente attivo nell’amore. Agirà come essere libero, consapevole di sé stesso secondo la propria volontà e comunque sottomesso alla Volontà divina, perché dato che è compenetrato dalla Forza di Dio che in Sé E’ Amore, anche tutto il suo essere dev’essere amore e questo è l’effetto della divina Forza d’Amore, che diventi amore anche l’essere che non si chiude alla Sua Forza d’Amore. Questo è lo stato della Vita, dell’unione con Dio e della Beatitudine, perché l’essere percepisce la Forza d’Amore come sublime felicità, come Vicinanza di Dio ed il desiderio per la costante attività.
