Prayer of the awakened.... fulfilment....

Hear the divine spirit: In every way God is intent on helping people to the salvation of their souls, and everything that happens, that He Himself does or allows, is a means to this end. And therefore everything from God's hand must be gratefully accepted, even if the body feels it as suffering, because it is helpful for the soul. And this thought should also determine your prayer, you should only pray for the well-being of your soul and leave the well-being of your body to God's will, because His love and wisdom only remember your soul and the soul's eternal life is the aim and purpose of everything that comes upon you. Therefore you should pray that God will protect your soul from every danger and hand your body over to Him completely; you should leave it up to Him as He thinks of it and always trust in His love and wisdom, which must be your guarantee that everything God sends upon you is good. This applies to the awakened person who knows the meaning and purpose of suffering and who also recognizes humanity's spiritual hardship and knows about its consequences for the souls. His pleas and supplications should always be for spiritual well-being, it should be a constant prayer for light in the darkness of time, it should be a struggle for spiritual goods, for firm faith, for realization of truth and for spiritual knowledge, for this alone remedies the spiritual hardship and also the earthly hardship at the same time, because the latter is a consequence of the former. Anyone who is in knowledge should only pray for salvation from spiritual adversity.... nevertheless, he can also place all earthly adversities on the heavenly father's heart by completely handing himself over to His guidance, by believing that he, as His child, is lovingly sheltered by Him.... His faith in God's love must be strong, then all earthly worries will disappear, for if a child knows itself to be loved by the father it will no longer fear anything because God's love will turn away from it if it is beneficial for its soul. The human being must be certain of God's love.... And he will be so if he himself stands in love. Depending on the degree of his love for God and his neighbour and its activity God's love fills him and also becomes noticeable to him.... And the loving person will be completely carefree even in earthly adversity.... For he firmly trusts and therefore knows no worry. And this is the strength of divine love which flows through him as soon as he is lovingly active himself. He will no longer believe that he can master anything by his own strength but will completely hand himself over to the father in heaven and thus also place all earthly worries at His feet because he knows that only God can take them away from him, that only God directs his destiny as it is good for him. And thus he trusts that God, in His love, will not burden him with more than is necessary for his soul. And his prayer will be a surrender to divine will, he will not demand but surrender to God's will and determination.... Nevertheless, the soul can also take refuge in God in great physical adversity and call upon Him for strength and fortitude, for this adversity often comes upon a person in order to motivate him to intimate contact with God if he is in danger of slackening in prayer....

(24.10.1944) And then God reveals Himself by fulfilling the requests, for the power of prayer is to be proven to people so that the divine promise will be fulfilled: "Ask and it shall be given to you...." For God takes care of all His children who see their father in Him and express this to Him through faithful prayer. But God knows when His children are in need, He knows their earthly and spiritual shortcomings and considers them accordingly. The supplicant is given, and the sincerity of the prayer also guarantees fulfilment. But the strength of prayer is increased when the fulfilment of every request is entrusted to God's will, when the human being surrenderingly submits to His will, then he completely entrusts himself to God's guidance and then everything will be for the salvation of his soul. God’s word says: Ask and it will be given to you.... thus the human being may ask for everything, he may come to the father with earthly and spiritual requests.... he will always be considered according to his faith. But if he is willing to forego the fulfilment of a request, if this corresponds to divine love and wisdom, then he completely submits himself to God's will. And this will truly only aims at what is best for the human being. For the most part he will also be fulfilled because he has already progressed so far in realization that he no longer has to fear straying into the world, and then God will consider him spiritually and earthly, He will avert every adversity from him, He will make every test easy for him and lovingly guide him on his earthly path, and he need not fear that God will not hear his silent prayer.... For God's will will then also be his will as soon as he has submitted himself to Him, and God's will will also guide his thinking right.... he will then only pray for that which is conducive to his spiritual development and never think of his body again, and then God will give him what he needs for soul and body.... For His promise is fulfilled to the letter....

Gebet der Erweckten.... Erfüllung....

Vernehmet den göttlichen Geist: In jeder Weise ist Gott darauf bedacht, den Menschen zum Heil ihrer Seelen zu verhelfen, und alles, was geschieht, was Er Selbst tut oder zuläßt, ist ein Mittel dazu. Und darum muß alles aus der Hand Gottes dankbar entgegengenommen werden, auch wenn es der Körper als Leid empfindet, weil es für die Seele dienlich ist. Und dieser Gedanke soll auch euer Gebet bestimmen, ihr sollt nur bitten um das Wohl eurer Seele und das Wohl eures Körpers dem Willen Gottes überlassen, weil Seine Liebe und Weisheit nur eurer Seele gedenket und das ewige Leben der Seele Ziel und Zweck alles dessen ist, was über euch kommet. Also sollet ihr beten, daß Gott eure Seele vor jeder Gefahr beschützen möge, und euren Körper sollet ihr ganz Ihm übergeben; ihr sollt es Ihm anheimstellen, wie Er ihn bedenket, und immer auf Seine Liebe und Weisheit vertrauen, die euch Gewähr sein müssen, daß alles gut ist, was Gott über euch sendet. Dies gilt für den erweckten Menschen, der um Sinn und Zweck des Leides weiß und der auch die geistige Not der Menschheit erkennt und um ihre Folgen weiß für die Seelen. Sein Bitten und Flehen soll stets dem geistigen Wohl gelten, es soll ein ständiges Gebet sein um Licht in der Finsternis der Zeit, es soll ein Ringen sein um geistige Güter, um festen Glauben, um Erkenntnis der Wahrheit und um geistiges Wissen, denn dies allein behebt die geistige Not und auch gleichzeitig die irdische Not, weil diese eine Folge der ersteren ist. Wer im Erkennen steht, dessen Gebet soll nur eine Bitte sein um Errettung aus der geistigen Not.... dennoch kann er auch alle irdischen Nöte dem himmlischen Vater ans Herz legen, indem er sich voll und ganz Seiner Führung überlässet, indem er glaubt, daß er als Sein Kind liebevoll von Ihm behütet wird.... Sein Glaube an die Liebe Gottes muß stark sein, dann wird auch jegliche irdische Sorge schwinden, denn so sich ein Kind vom Vater geliebt weiß, fürchtet es nichts mehr, weil Gottes Liebe von ihm abwendet, so es seiner Seele zuträglich ist. Der Mensch muß der Liebe Gottes gewiß sein.... Und er wird dies sein, so er selbst in der Liebe steht. Je nach dem Grad seiner Liebe zu Gott und zum Nächsten und ihrer Betätigung erfüllt ihn die Liebe Gottes und wird ihm auch spürbar.... Und es wird der liebetätige Mensch völlig sorglos sein auch in irdischer Not.... Denn er vertrauet fest und kennt deshalb keine Sorge. Und das ist die Kraft der göttlichen Liebe, die ihn durchströmt, sowie er selbst liebetätig ist. Er wird nichts mehr aus eigener Kraft meistern zu können glauben, sondern sich voll und ganz dem Vater im Himmel überlassen und so auch alle irdischen Sorgen Ihm zu Füßen legen, weil er weiß, daß nur Gott sie ihm abnehmen kann, daß nur Gott sein Schicksal so lenket, wie es gut ist für ihn. Und also vertrauet er, daß Gott in Seiner Liebe ihm nicht mehr zu tragen auferlegt, als es für seine Seele nötig ist. Und sein Gebet wird eine Hingabe an den göttlichen Willen sein, er wird nicht fordern, sondern sich ergeben fügen in Gottes Willen und Bestimmung.... Dennoch kann auch die Seele in großer leiblicher Not zu Gott flüchten und Ihn um Kraft und Stärke anrufen, denn oft kommt diese Not über einen Menschen, um ihn zur innigen Fühlungnahme mit Gott zu bewegen, so er in Gefahr ist, nachzulassen im Gebet.... (24.10.1944) Und dann offenbart Sich Gott, indem Er die Bitten erfüllt, denn es soll die Kraft des Gebetes den Menschen bewiesen werden, auf daß sich die göttliche Verheißung erfülle: "Bittet, so wird euch gegeben werden...." Denn Gott nimmt Sich aller Seiner Kinder an, die in Ihm ihren Vater sehen und durch gläubiges Gebet dies Ihm bekunden. Gott aber weiß, wenn Seine Kinder in Not sind, Er kennt ihre irdischen und ihre geistigen Mängel und bedenket sie diesen entsprechend. Dem Bittenden wird gegeben, und die Innigkeit des Gebetes gewährleistet auch die Erfüllung. Doch des Gebetes Kraft wird erhöht, wenn die Erfüllung jeglicher Bitte dem Willen Gottes anheimgestellt (wird = d. Hg.), wenn sich der Mensch ergeben fügt in Seinen Willen, dann begibt er sich voll und ganz in die Führung Gottes, und dann gereichet ihm alles zum Heil seiner Seele. Gottes Wort lautet: Bittet, so wird euch gegeben werden.... also darf der Mensch bitten um alles, er darf mit irdischen und geistigen Anliegen zum Vater kommen.... er wird stets bedacht werden seinem Glauben gemäß. Ist er aber bereit, auf die Erfüllung einer Bitte zu verzichten, so dies der göttlichen Liebe und Weisheit entspricht, so unterstellt er sich gänzlich dem Willen Gottes. Und dieser hat wahrlich nur das Beste für den Menschen zum Ziel. Zumeist wird ihm auch Erfüllung werden, weil er in der Erkenntnis schon so weit vorgeschritten ist, daß kein Verirren an die Welt mehr zu fürchten ist, und dann wird Gott ihn geistig und irdisch bedenken, Er wird jede Not von ihm abwenden, Er wird ihm jede Prüfung leichtmachen und ihn liebevoll geleiten auf seiner Erdenbahn, und er wird nicht zu fürchten brauchen, daß Gott sein stilles Gebet nicht erhört.... Denn Gottes Wille ist dann auch sein Wille, sowie er sich Ihm unterstellt hat, und Gottes Wille lenket auch sein Denken recht.... er wird dann nur beten um das, was seiner geistigen Entwicklung förderlich ist, und niemals mehr seines Körpers gedenken, und dann gibt Gott ihm, was er benötigt für Seele und Leib.... Denn Seine Verheißung erfüllet sich aufs Wort....
