"Come all to Me...."

Every soul is marked the path it has to take on earth in order to become free from its form, which means a fetter for it. This path need not be thorny if it is taken under God's guidance, if the human being does not walk alone on earth but constantly has eternal love as a companion, for then even the stony path will be easy to take; it will, as it were, float over all obstacles, it will take every bump without exerting itself, for the heavenly father helps His earthly child to reach its aim unharmed. But the soul itself must also contribute its share, it must declare its willingness before its embodiment to complete the path prescribed to it, it may not break it off, i.e. prematurely put an end to its life on earth, but it must take upon itself everything the earthly path entails. It must never forget that every human being's destiny has been so determined by divine love from eternity that it offers it abundant opportunities to attain highest maturity, and that every event is therefore necessary for this, even if it appears extremely painful to the human being. For God knows about every impulse of the human soul, and He has taken this into account in the individual's life. And the human being cannot change anything about it, he has to submit to his fate, yet he is entitled to prayer, and this prayer is able to avert the most difficult things if it is sent up with full faith, for such a prayer will be answered. For although the predetermined event does not fail to happen, God nevertheless gives the human being the strength to take it upon himself, and the soul derives its benefit from every event, it matures upwards and does not live earthly life in vain. Yet the soul should not be afraid of what is to come, for if it belongs to God it will not bear it alone but God will help it to bear it. Thus it will not feel the heaviness if it remains united with God through heartfelt prayer and unselfish neighbourly love. Then everything will be a blessing for it, whatever comes, because God's wisdom and love have determined the fate of every human being. God's wisdom and love protect the earthly child until the end, yet it must also consciously submit itself to God's divine love and wisdom and know and believe at all times that God can and will avert what is not absolutely necessary for the attainment of maturity of soul, and that He will also do so if the human being hands himself over to Him and appeals for His grace. For He is kind and merciful, He is like a father to His children and will not let any suffer if it faithfully trusts Him and recommends itself to His grace.... That His word may be fulfilled, "Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest...."

"Kommet alle zu Mir...."

Einer jeden Seele ist der Weg vorgezeichnet, den sie zu gehen hat auf Erden, um frei zu werden aus ihrer Form, die eine Fessel für sie bedeutet. Dieser Weg braucht nicht durchaus dornenvoll zu sein, so er beschritten wird unter der Führung Gottes, so der Mensch nicht allein wandelt auf Erden, sondern ständig die ewige Liebe zum Begleiter hat, denn dann ist auch der steinige Weg leicht zu beschreiten; er wird gleichsam hinwegschweben über alle Hindernisse, er wird jede Unebenheit nehmen ohne Kraftanstrengung, denn der himmlische Vater hilft Seinem Erdenkind, daß es unbeschadet zum Ziel gelange. Die Seele selbst muß aber auch das ihrige dazu beitragen, sie muß sich bereit erklären vor ihrer Verkörperung, den ihr vorgeschriebenen Weg zu Ende zu gehen, sie darf ihn nicht abbrechen, d.h. ihrem Leben auf Erden vorzeitig ein Ende machen, sondern sie muß alles auf sich nehmen, was der Erdenweg ihr einträgt. Sie darf nie vergessen, daß die göttliche Liebe eines jeden Menschen Schicksal so bestimmt hat von Ewigkeit, daß ihm dadurch überreich Gelegenheit geboten wird, die höchste Reife zu erlangen, und daß also jedes Ereignis dazu nötig ist, auch wenn es dem Menschen überaus schmerzvoll erscheint. Denn Gott weiß um jede Regung der menschlichen Seele, und dieser hat Er Rechnung getragen im Lebenslauf des einzelnen. Und der Mensch kann nichts daran ändern, er muß sich in sein Schicksal fügen, doch ihm steht das Gebet zu, und dieses Gebet vermag das Schwerste von sich abzuwenden, wenn es vollgläubig zur Höhe gesandt wird, denn ein solches Gebet wird Erhörung finden. Denn wenngleich das vorbestimmte Geschehnis nicht ausbleibt, gibt Gott doch dem Menschen Kraft, es auf sich zu nehmen, und die Seele ziehet ihren Nutzen aus jedem Ereignis, sie reifet zur Höhe und lebt das Erdenleben nicht vergeblich. Doch die Seele soll sich nicht fürchten vor dem Kommenden, denn so sie Gott angehört, trägt sie nicht allein, sondern Gott hilft ihr tragen. Also spüret sie das Schwere nicht so, wenn sie mit Gott verbunden bleibt durch inniges Gebet und uneigennützige Nächstenliebe. Dann gereichet ihr alles zum Segen, was auch kommt, denn die Weisheit und die Liebe Gottes haben das Schicksal eines jeden Menschen bestimmt. Die Weisheit und Liebe Gottes beschirmen das Erdenkind bis zum Ende, doch es muß sich auch der göttlichen Liebe und Weisheit Gottes bewußt unterstellen und jederzeit wissen und glauben, daß Gott abwenden kann und abwenden wird, was nicht unbedingt nötig ist für die Erlangung der Seelenreife, und daß Er es auch tun wird, so der Mensch sich Ihm hingibt und um Seine Gnade bittet. Denn Er ist gütig und barmherzig, Er ist wie ein Vater zu seinen Kindern und lässet keines leiden, so es Ihm gläubig vertraut und sich Seiner Gnade empfiehlt.... Auf daß Sein Wort erfüllt werde: "Kommet her zu Mir alle, die ihr mühselig und beladen seid, Ich will Euch erquicken...."
