Test of the heart necessary to recognize the gifts.... free will....

Every spiritual gift triggers happiness as soon as it is recognized as such. And this judgement must be made by the heart, in association with the intellect, but not by the intellect alone. Consequently, the will to reject must not resist the heart and grant the intellect alone the right to judge. Then the effect of strength will never be felt, for it does not tolerate resistance, i.e. the strength becomes ineffective where it is opposed. God's love does not compel, and compulsion would be any proof. But it would be proof if the divine gift would always and in all cases trigger a feeling of happiness, even if the human being is not willing to acknowledge it. This feeling would then force him to accept the gifts from above, and thus no human being would then stand outside of their working, which would mean that a change in people's thinking would result in their higher development in a short time, yet always compulsorily, thus without their own will. Such higher development would not correspond to God's wisdom, and therefore the human being will not feel any effect in himself who only lets his intellect become active where his heart should carry out an examination. But he will lose a great grace, a grace which could promote him very quickly if he let it take effect in himself. Therefore it is very difficult to persuade people to accept the divine word as long as they do not have the will to believe that God is the giver of it, thus as long as they doubt such activity on God's part. The mere assumption that God could express Himself in an extraordinary way would weaken the will to reject, and he would examine it impartially and thus let his heart speak, which truly advises him correctly. For the strength from God would touch the heart so beneficently that it would recognize the divine origin by it and accept it unconditionally. The human being is completely free to decide how he will respond to the gift offered to him from the spiritual kingdom. All compulsion of will is eliminated, and therefore the gift of eloquence will also be reduced to an unwilling person so that the human being will not be influenced against his will, for God in His love certainly offers Himself but does not impose Himself. The conveyance of His word to earth is in any case an act of grace which humanity does not deserve, since only rarely does a person have the will to establish such an intimate connection with God that the strength from God can flow over to him and that.... the word of God.... can only be offered where it is desired. Yet God is satisfied with the will of one person who desires the truth in order to pass it on to those who are in need of it. And thus humanity is given a delicious gift and does not recognize it.... It does not make use of a gift which comes to it undeservedly, it does not take hold of the father's hand Who seeks to snatch it from darkness.... it hesitates where it should accept immediately in order to make use of every day, in order to mature in realization, in order to make the word of God its guiding principle for its earthly life. The gifts of grace will increase in the last days but the human being's freedom of will will always be respected, thus no gift will ever appear such that the human being will be determined to acknowledge it as divine. Anyone who opens himself to the gift of grace, who in profound faith in God does not deny its significance for spiritual development, will feel profound happiness, yet anyone who does not believe such an effect of God's love to be possible because he is unbelieving or only calls a dead faith his own will remain empty and unimpressed. And therefore only individuals will feel the effect of the gift of grace and mature in their soul because they are of good will....

Examiner avec le cœur est nécessaire pour reconnaître les Dons - la libre volonté

Chaque Don spirituel fait jaillir le bonheur, dès qu’il est reconnu comme tel. Et le cœur doit émettre ce jugement en union avec l'entendement, mais pas l'entendement tout seul. Par conséquent la volonté de refus ne doit pas être un empêchement pour le cœur et assigner seulement à l'esprit le droit de juger. Un effet de la Force ne sera jamais ressenti, parce que celle-ci ne tolère aucune résistance, c'est-à-dire que la Force devient inefficace là où il lui est opposé résistance. L'Amour de Dieu ne force pas et toute preuve serait une contrainte. Mais ce serait toujours et dans tous les cas une contrainte, si le Don de Dieu faisait jaillir la sensation de bonheur, y compris lorsque l'homme n'est pas de bonne volonté pour le reconnaître. Cette sensation le forcerait ensuite à l'acceptation du Dons d'en haut et donc aucun homme ne serait en dehors de Son Action, ce qui signifierait qu'il y aurait par conséquent en peu de temps un changement des pensées des hommes, mais toujours par contrainte, donc sans sa volonté. Un tel développement vers le Haut ne correspondrait pas à la Sagesse de Dieu et donc l'homme qui fait devenir actif seulement son entendement, ne sentirait sur lui aucun effet, là où son cœur devrait exécuter un examen. Mais il perd une grande Grâce, Grâce qui pourrait le promouvoir rapidement, s’il la laissait devenir active sur lui. Donc il est très difficile d’inciter les hommes à l'acceptation de la Parole divine, tant qu’ils n'ont pas la volonté de considérer comme possible que Dieu soit le Donateur de celle-ci, donc tant qu’ils doutent d’une telle Action de Dieu. Déjà l'acceptation que Dieu puisse se manifester d’une manière extraordinaire, affaiblirait sa volonté de refus et l’inciterait à faire un examen impartial et ainsi il laisserait parler son cœur qui le conseille vraiment bien. Parce que la Force de Dieu toucherait avec bienveillance le cœur et dans cela il reconnaîtrait l'Origine divine et il l'accepterait inconditionnellement. À l'homme il est laissé l’entière liberté de comment il se positionne envers le Don qui lui est offert par le Règne spirituel. Toute contrainte de la volonté est exclue et donc le Don de l'éloquence est aussi réduit chez un homme qui accepterait le Cadeau à contrecœur, pour qu'il ne soit pas influencé contre sa volonté, parce que Dieu dans Son Amour S'offre, mais ne S'impose pas. L'apport de Sa Parole sur la Terre est sans autre un Acte de Grâce que l'humanité ne mérite pas, vu que seulement rarement un homme a la volonté d'établir le contact avec Dieu assez intimement pour que la Force de Dieu puisse lui affluer et donc cette Parole de Dieu est offerte seulement là où elle est désirée. Mais Dieu se contente de la volonté d'une personne qui désire la Vérité pour la guider à ceux qui sont dans la misère de l'âme. Et ainsi l'humanité est pourvue avec un Don délicieux et elle ne le reconnaît pas. Elle ne fait aucun usage de ce Cadeau qui lui arrive sans qu’elle l’ait mérité, elle ne saisit pas la Main du Père qui cherche à l'arracher de l'obscurité, elle hésite là où elle devrait vite accepter pour exploiter chaque journée pour mûrir dans la connaissance, pour faire de la Parole de Dieu la ligne de conduite pour sa vie terrestre. Dans le temps de la fin les Dons de Grâce augmenteront, mais la liberté de la volonté des hommes sera toujours préservée, donc un Don ne se manifestera jamais de sorte que l'homme soit déterminé à le reconnaître comme divin. Celui qui s’ouvre au Don de la Grâce, celui qui a une profonde foi en Dieu et qui ne nie pas l'importance qu’elle a pour le développement spirituel ressentira un profond bonheur, mais celui qui ne considère pas possible une telle Action de l'Amour de Dieu, parce qu'il est mécréant ou bien appelle sa propre foi une foi morte restera vide et non impressionné. Et donc seulement quelques individus percevront l'effet du Don de Grâce et mûriront dans leur âme, parce qu'ils sont de bonne volonté.
