Strong will required to absorb the thoughts....

The more the outside world approaches a person and prevents him from listening in complete seclusion to the voice of the spirit, which now whispers the thoughts quietly to him, the more difficult it is to receive the thoughts. This is an act of the greatest strength of will, which must be practiced again and again, which again and again requires strength, which the human being must ask for. Since it is divine will that the human being should connect with his spirit and allow himself to be taught by it, He will never leave a prayer unanswered, it just has to come from the bottom of his heart. It may not just be a formal or lip prayer, but the desire for divine gift of grace through the spirit must be so strong that the prayer is fervently sent up, after which the person will always receive the strength. And then the human being is able to receive every thought flowing to him without hesitation and doubt, and only then can he be taught and receive profound wisdom. divine gift requires undivided attention, divine gift is not given out without deep desire, and divine gift is only imparted to those who are willing to pass it on. And a strong will is required for everything, which must be active again and again. For a person is never forced to do so against his will, but neither is he showered with a gift of grace which he does not seriously desire. He must remain in constant struggle, he must constantly immerse himself in prayer and be mindful of the fact that God's love offers him something extremely precious and that this precious gift cannot fall to him effortlessly without his will becoming active. Thoughts from the spiritual kingdom constantly buzz around him, good and bad, and only want to be received by him. And now the human being has to open himself and consciously ask for the good thoughts. Through his will he must put himself into the state of being able to hear every thought that comes to him. He must, so to speak, open his spiritual ear and now listen to the subtle voice which now announces itself. But if the human being does not muster this will, it remains silent within him. He has no intimate contact with the beings of the kingdom of light who want to impart divine wisdom to him in a mental form; and this contact must inevitably be established first, which first requires a strong will....

Starker Wille erforderlich zum Aufnehmen der Gedanken....

Es ist das Aufnehmen der Gedanken desto schwerer, je mehr die Außenwelt an den Menschen herantritt und ihn hindert, in völliger Abgeschlossenheit auf die Stimme des Geistes zu horchen, die ihm die Gedanken nun leise zuflüstert. Es ist dies ein Akt der größten Willensstärke, der immer wieder geübt werden muß, der immer wieder Kraft erfordert, die sich der Mensch erbitten muß. Da es göttlicher Wille ist, daß sich der Mensch mit seinem Geist verbinde und sich von ihm belehren lasse, wird Er auch niemals ein Gebet darum unerhört lassen, nur muß es aus tiefstem Herzen kommen. Es darf nicht nur ein Form- oder Lippengebet sein, sondern das Verlangen nach göttlicher Gnadengabe durch den Geist muß so stark sein, daß das Gebet inbrünstig emporgesandt wird, wonach dem Menschen auch stets die Kraft zugehen wird. Und dann ist der Mensch fähig, jeden ihm zuströmenden Gedanken aufzunehmen ohne Bedenken und Zweifel, und dann erst kann er belehrt werden und tiefste Weisheiten empfangen. Göttliche Gabe bedingt ungeteilte Aufmerksamkeit, göttliche Gabe wird nicht ausgeteilt ohne tiefes Verlangen, und göttliche Gabe wird nur dem vermittelt, der bereit ist, sie weiterzugeben. Und zu allem ist ein starker Wille erforderlich, der immer und immer wieder von neuem tätig sein muß. Denn niemals wird ein Mensch dazu gezwungen wider seinen Willen, aber auch nicht mit einer Gnadengabe überschüttet, die er nicht ernstlich begehrt. Er muß in ständigem Ringen bleiben, er muß sich ständig im Gebet vertiefen und dessen eingedenk sein, daß es etwas überaus Kostbares ist, was ihm die Liebe Gottes bietet, und daß ihm diese kostbare Gabe nicht mühelos zufallen kann, ohne daß sein Wille tätig wird. Die Gedanken aus dem geistigen Reich umschwirren ihn ständig, gute und böse, und wollen nur aufgenommen werden von ihm. Und nun muß sich der Mensch öffnen, und zwar bewußt die guten Gedanken erbitten. Er muß sich durch seinen Willen selbst in den Zustand versetzen, jeden ihm zugehenden Gedanken vernehmen zu können. Er muß gewissermaßen sein geistiges Ohr öffnen und nun der feinen Stimme lauschen, die sich nun kundgibt. Bringt der Mensch aber diesen Willen nicht auf, so bleibt es stumm in ihm. Er hat keinen innigen Kontakt mit den Wesen des Lichtreiches, die ihm in gedanklicher Form die göttliche Weisheit vermitteln wollen; und dieser Kontakt muß unweigerlich zuvor hergestellt sein, wozu als erstes ein starker Wille erforderlich ist....
