Keep death in mind....

Imagine the hour of your death and ask yourselves whether you are well prepared for eternity.... Consider your relationship with God and how you have used the pound He has given you for your time on earth.... Ask yourselves whether you could stand before God’s judgment seat, whether your earthly life is right with God, whether you have shown love, and whether you are ready to depart from earth at any hour without fear of having to give account to God.... Consider that your strength will also come to an end with death and that you cannot do anything by yourselves if you depart from this earth with an immature soul. Ask yourselves whether you are satisfied with yourselves and can depart from this world in peace.... And exercise the strictest self criticism, and after that make an effort to perfect yourselves....

Make use of every day that is given to you, as long as you are on earth you can still achieve a lot. You have the opportunity to purify yourselves even now, because you have the strength to do so and can increase it with actions of love.... Keep death in mind and recognise yourselves as a weak creature who cannot delay for an hour once God has determined your hour of death. And with deeply felt sincerity ask God for His mercy, for His grace, for His support, that He will give you His love and with His love also the strength which guarantees your ascent. Keep only this goal in mind, that you may awaken to eternal life when your earthly life is over, and then live in accord with this goal, carry out God’s will and always think that every day could be your last day on earth.... Then you will prepare yourselves, you will live consciously and without fear pass across into the kingdom of peace, your true home....

Sed conscientes de la muerte física

Visualizad la hora de la muerte y preguntaos hasta qué punto estáis preparados para la eternidad. Sed conscientes de cuál es vuestra relación con Dios y cómo habéis aprovechado del bulto ligero que Él os ha dado para el tiempo que pasáis por esta Tierra. Examinaos, a ver si podréis aprobar ante el tribunal de Dios... si vuestra forma de vida está justificada ante Él, si habéis actuado en el amor, y si en cualquier momento estáis dispuestos a dejar la Tierra atrás, sin tener que temer responsabilidades ante Dios...

Tened en cuenta que con la muerte también se acaba vuestra fuerza, de modo que ya no podréis hacer nada de propia fuerza si os vais de la Tierra en vuestro estado de inmadurez, y preguntaos a vosotros mismos si estáis conformes y si podéis marcharos de la Tierra con tranquilidad... Criticaos a vosotros mismos y luego procurad perfeccionaros. Aprovechad de cada día que todavía está a vuestra disposición. Porque mientras todavía estéis en la Tierra aún podréis conseguir mucho. Todavía tenéis la posibilidad de depuraros porque todavía os queda la fuerza para ello y la podéis aumentar mediante la actividad en el amor. Tened presente la muerte y, una vez que Dios haya determinado la hora de la defunción, reconoceos como seres débiles que no pueden retardarla ni por una sola hora.

Rogad a Dios profundamente por su Compasión, su Gracia y su Apoyo, para que os obsequie con su Amor - y con su Amor también la Fuerza que garantiza vuestro ascenso. Mantened únicamente este objetivo para que, una vez que esté terminada vuestra vida terrenal, despertéis para la Vida eterna. Vivid conforme a esta meta, cumplid con la Voluntad de Dios y tened en cuenta que cualquier día puede ser el último de vuestra vida en la Tierra.

De esta manera os vais a preparar bien. Viviréis conscientemente y transitaréis sin miedo al Reino de la Paz - a vuestra verdadera Patria.
