Regression.... spiritual and earthly decay....

The fact that humanity has regressed is evident from the fact that it takes no offence at the extent of unkindness which characterizes the present time. Hardly that it even takes notice of it, because as long as people are not affected themselves they only take cursory notice, but never take an open stand against it. And this does not testify to love for fellow human beings, on the contrary, it is proof of a regression which needs no other evidence. Love should be striven for on earth and precisely the opposite is the case.... people outdo each other in cruelty, which can soon no longer be surpassed. And if this state is not to extend to the whole of humanity, then God Himself must put a stop to it before everything is destroyed by unkindness. And this period of time will soon come when the old will fall. The earthly destructions, i.e. the destructions caused by human will, bear witness to people's disinherited state, and it is difficult to believe that these people could still convert, for they have already fallen too deeply into the adversary's nets. Only deep prayer to God provides these souls with the necessary strength, and with good will they can still free themselves in the last hour. And in this time of need God sends out His messengers to strengthen the souls, who convey the word of God to people, admonish them time and again to love and show them the consequences of the right as well as the wrong way of life. As long as they have not yet completely fallen prey to the adversary, they will heed this word, which can also be conveyed to them mentally. They will learn to detest their fellow human beings' lack of love, they will endeavour to cultivate love themselves and thereby also be educated to become knowledgeable creatures.... for God needs servants on earth and the flock of His fighters is truly not large.... And yet God allows people's destructions, He allows them to suffer unspeakably, to have all possessions destroyed or taken away from them, because these destructions will have an indescribable effect and are a better means of education than the divine word is if it is not received with a heart willing to love. For man respects such destructions, but not always the divine word. For even the unkindness of people can still be used by God as a means of education, so that they abhor the behaviour of their fellow human beings and endeavour to live differently themselves, and this is already a step towards improvement. Only one thing can still save people from spiritual decline, that they recognize themselves in the mirror of humanity's great injustice, that they seriously strive for a change and direct their thoughts towards the actual purpose on earth and towards their end.... that they think of life after death and commend themselves to their creator by recognizing their own weakness.... Then God will have mercy on them and guide them through the confusion of time, He will give them all help and make them receptive for His word, which will be offered to them time and again during the last days so that they will gain realization. For there is only a short time of grace left which has to be utilized. Yet only a few will find the path to God, for heartlessness has taken over and this is the surest sign of the end, of spiritual and earthly decline....

퇴보. 영적인 세상적인 타락.

인류가 퇴보했다는 사실은 인류가 현재를 특징 짓는 사랑 없는 정도에 전혀 거리낌이 없다는 사실에서 분명하게 드러난다. 사람들이 사랑 없음에 전혀 주의를 기울이지 않는다. 왜냐면 사람들 자신이 영향을 받지 않는 동안에는 단지 피상적인 지식으로 받아들이고, 절대로 공개적인 입장을 취하지 않기 때문이다. 이런 일은 이웃사람을 향한 사랑을 보여주지 않고, 반대로 다른 증거가 필요하지 않게 퇴보한다는 것을 보여준다.

이 땅에서 사랑을 추구해야 한다. 그러나 이와 반대의 일이 일어나고 있다. 사람들은 곧 더 이상 능가할 수 없게 잔학하게 대한다. 이런 상태가 인류 전체에게 확장되지 않으려면, 사랑 없음으로 모든 것이 멸망되기 전에 하나님 자신이 멈춰야만 한다. 옛 것이 무너지는 이런 때가 곧 임하게 될 것이다. 인간의 의지로 인한 세상의 파괴는 사람들이 영을 떠난 상태를 증거한다. 사람들이 이미 대적자의 그물에 너무 깊숙이 들어갔기 때문에, 이런 사람들이 아직 개종할 수 있다고 믿기가 어렵다. 단지 하나님께 드리는 깊은 기도가 이런 혼들에게 필요한 힘을 주고, 그들이 선한 의지를 가졌다면, 마지막 순간에 자신을 해방시킬 수 있다.

이런 위험 가운데 하나님은 혼들을 강하게 하기 위해 사람들에게 하나님의 말씀을 전하는 자신의 종을 보내고, 그들에게 항상 또 다시 사랑을 행하라는 권면을 하고, 그들이 올바른 삶과 그릇된 삶의 결과를 명심하게 한다. 그들이 아직 전적으로 대적자에게 완전히 굴복하지 않았다면, 그들은 그들에게 생각을 통해 전해질 수 있는 말씀에 주의를 기울일 것이다. 그들은 이웃 사람의 사랑 없음을 혐오하는 법을 배우게 될 것이고, 자신이 사랑을 행하기 위해 노력할 것이다. 그들은 이를 통해 아는 피조물로 양육을 받게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 하나님은 이 땅의 종이 필요하기 때문이다. 하나님의 전사들의 무리는 진실로 많지 않다.

그럴지라도 하나님은 사람들이 파괴하는 일을 허락하고, 그들이 말로 표현할 수 없는 고통을 당해야만 하는 일을 허용하고, 그들의 모든 재산이 파괴되거나 빼앗기는 일을 허용한다. 왜냐면 이런 파괴는 말할 수 없는 영향을 미치고, 사랑을 행할 준비된 심장으로 하나님의 말씀을 영접하지 않는다면, 이런 파괴가 하나님의 말씀보다 더 나은 양육의 수단이기 때문이다. 왜냐면 인간이 그런 파괴에는 주의를 기울이지만, 그러나 항상 하나님의 말씀에 주의를 기울이는 것은 아니기 때문이다.

하나님은 심지어 사람들의 사랑 없음도 교육의 수단으로 사용하여, 그들이 이웃 사람의 행동을 혐오하고, 스스로 다르게 살려는 노력을 하게 한다. 이런 일은 이미 개선을 위한 한 걸음이다. 인류의 큰 불의의 거울 앞에서 자신을 깨닫고, 자신의 변화를 위해 진지하게 노력하고, 그들이 실제 이 땅의 목적을 생각하고, 이 땅의 끝을 생각하고, 그들이 죽음 후의 삶을 생각하고, 자신의 약점을 깨닫는 가운데 창조주에게 자신을 의탁하는 단지 한 가지의 일이 사람들을 영적 타락으로부터 구할 수 있다.

그러면 하나님은 긍휼을 베풀고, 그들을 혼란의 때를 통과하도록 인도할 것이고, 그들에게 모든 도움을 줄 것이다. 하나님은 그들이 마지막 때에 항상 또 다시 그들에게 제공되는 자신의 말씀을 영접할 수 있게 만들 것이다. 이로써 그들이 지식에 도달하게 할 것이다. 왜냐면 전적으로 활용해야 할 은혜의 시간이 짧기 때문이다. 그러나 단지 소수의 사람들만이 하나님께로 가는 길을 찾게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 사랑 없음이 우위를 차지했기 때문이다. 이런 일은 종말과 영적인, 세상적인 타락의 가장 확실한 증거이다._>아멘
