God's ways are often incomprehensible....

God's ways are often incomprehensible to people.... His wisdom and His love outline them to people in such a way that they are useful for the salvation of their souls, yet people are unable to recognize this, they only see the suffering but not the blessing of the suffering, nor do they see the goal, instead their eyes only dwell on the path which often seems impassable; they see the stones which often make it impassable and grumble and complain that God lets them take this particular path. And yet people should bear in mind that God's wisdom and love allows him to walk the earthly path as his soul requires. For He knows about the human being's state of maturity as well as about the effect of every event on him, and thus He arranges everything in such a way that it is often incomprehensible to people.... If the human being is in danger of going wrong of his own accord, God intervenes, and this for his salvation, but still leaving him free will insofar as that he does not necessarily have to follow the path God prescribes for him, but he can walk according to his (free) will, only he is so obviously guided that he would have to recognize a higher guidance if he paid attention to every event around him. As soon as he is a believer he also abandons himself to God's guidance without resistance, and then he does not demand but humbly submits himself to God's will; he follows the path God prescribes to him and he will also finally recognize God's wisdom and love as soon as he looks back on his earthly path at the end of his earthly life with a mature soul. In an often marvellous way God brings people together who are to help each other to ascend because one needs the other for his higher development. He lets people walk through earthly life together in order to give them the opportunity to further themselves spiritually in serving love, He leads people into the most diverse situations in which they can mature, and it will always be incomprehensible to them as long as they do not recognize their spiritual development as an earthly purpose, for it often seems as if God destroys people's happiness.... but then they are in danger of being broken by earthly happiness, that is, they think too little of their soul when earth brings them fulfilment of their longing. And therefore the human being will mostly have to sacrifice earthly happiness for the sake of his soul, and his fate in life is often so peculiar that he finds it difficult to believe in a God of love and wisdom. Yet spiritual development is the goal and purpose of life on earth, and where this is in danger, where it is not striven for, people often need harsh interventions from God's side.... His paths are often stony and thorny, but they lead safely to the heights. And blessed are those who allow themselves to be pushed along such paths without contradiction and follow them despite all obstacles until they reach their destination. They can return to the broad, passable path at any time, i.e. they can create their earthly path pleasantly by virtue of their free will, but God arranges the events in the life of the individual in such a way that he has to muster tremendous willpower in order to master them if he wants to escape God's influence. However, if he allows himself to be guided by God, he may seem to take a much harder path, but always with God's support and thus also reaches his goal. For the harshness of fate makes it easier for him to find God if he stands apart from Him, and then he overcomes every obstacle and also recognizes why he has to take that path; he learns to understand that only God's love and wisdom are at work, which determine everyone's path through life in order to save his soul from eternal ruin....

Gottes Wege sind oft unbegreiflich....

Gottes Wege sind den Menschen oft unbegreiflich.... Seine Weisheit und Seine Liebe zeichnet sie den Menschen vor, so wie sie diesen zum Seelenheil dienlich sind, doch der Mensch vermag dies nicht zu erkennen, er sieht nur das Leid, nicht aber den Segen des Leides, und er sieht auch nicht das Ziel, sondern seine Augen haften nur auf dem Weg, der oft unpassierbar scheint; er sieht die Steine, die ihn oft ungangbar machen, und murrt und klagt, daß Gott ihn gerade diesen Weg gehen lässet. Und doch sollten sich die Menschen vor Augen halten, daß Gottes Weisheit und Liebe ihn den Erdenweg so gehen läßt, wie dies seine Seele benötigt. Denn Er weiß sowohl um den Reifezustand des Menschen als auch um die Auswirkung eines jeden Geschehens auf diesen, und also fügt Er alles so, daß es oft den Menschen unverständlich ist.... Wenn der Mensch aus eigenem Antrieb falsch zu gehen in Gefahr ist, greift Gott ein, und dies zu seiner Rettung, ihm jedoch immer noch den freien Willen belassend insofern, als daß er nicht unbedingt den Weg gehen muß, den Gott ihm vorschreibt, sondern er wandeln kann nach (freiem) seinem Willen, nur wird er so augenscheinlich gelenkt, daß er eine höhere Führung erkennen müßte, wenn er jedes Geschehen um sich beachtet. Sowie er gläubig ist, überläßt er sich auch ohne Widerstand der Führung Gottes, und dann fordert er nicht, sondern fügt sich ergeben in den Willen Gottes; er geht den Weg, den Gott ihm vorschreibt, und er wird auch zuletzt die Weisheit und Liebe Gottes erkennen, sowie er seelisch gereift am Ende seines Erdenlebens seinen Erdenweg rückschauend überblickt. In oft wunderbarer Weise führt Gott die Menschen zusammen, die einander helfen sollen zum Aufstieg nach oben, weil einer den anderen benötigt zu seiner Höherentwicklung. Er läßt Menschen gemeinsam durch das Erdenleben wandeln, um ihnen die Möglichkeit zu geben, sich in dienender Liebe geistig zu fördern, Er führt die Menschen in die verschiedensten Lagen, in denen sie ausreifen können, und immer wird es ihnen unbegreiflich sein, solange sie nicht ihre geistige Entwicklung als Erdenzweck erkennen, denn oft hat es den Anschein, als zerstöre Gott das Glück der Menschen.... doch dann sind sie in der Gefahr, am irdischen Glück zu zerbrechen, d.h., sie gedenken ihrer Seele zu wenig, wenn ihnen die Erde Erfüllung ihres Sehnens bringt. Und darum wird zumeist der Mensch irdisches Glück hingeben müssen um seiner Seele willen, und sein Lebensschicksal ist oft so sonderbar, daß es ihm schwerfällt, an einen Gott der Liebe und Weisheit zu glauben. Doch die geistige Entwicklung ist Ziel und Zweck des Erdenlebens, und wo diese in Gefahr ist, wo sie nicht angestrebt wird, benötigen die Menschen oft harte Eingriffe von seiten Gottes.... Seine Wege sind oft steinig und dornenvoll, aber sie führen sicher zur Höhe. Und gesegnet, die sich widerspruchslos auf solche Wege drängen lassen und ihn trotz aller Hindernisse zurücklegen, bis sie am Ziel sind. Sie können jederzeit auf den breiten, gangbaren Weg zurück, d.h., sie können sich ihren Erdenweg angenehm schaffen kraft ihres freien Willens, doch Gott fügt die Geschehnisse im Leben des einzelnen so, daß er ungeheure Willenskraft aufbringen muß, um diese zu meistern, wenn er sich dem Einfluß Gottes entziehen will. Läßt er sich aber lenken von Gott, so geht er wohl scheinbar einen weit härteren Weg, doch immer mit der Unterstützung Gottes und kommt somit auch zum Ziel. Denn die Härte des Schicksals läßt ihn leichter zu Gott finden, so er abseits von Ihm steht, und dann überwindet er jedes Hindernis, und er erkennt auch, weshalb er jenen Weg gehen muß; er lernt es begreifen, daß nur die Liebe und Weisheit Gottes am Werk ist, die eines jeden Lebensweg bestimmen, um die Seele dessen zu retten vor dem ewigen Verderben....
