Spiritual low.... denier of God.... teaching them....

If you bear in mind people's low spiritual level, which is expressed in increased unkindness, in complete lack of faith and in a purely materialistic way of life, you will also recognize the necessity to remedy this low spiritual level as soon as you are informed about the actual meaning and purpose of earthly life. Consequently, knowledge of this is necessary insofar as that the reign and activity of God then becomes understandable to the human being, that he then recognizes that only God's love underlies all events, no matter how painful and seemingly unbearable for people. The further man himself distances himself from God through unkindness, the more incomprehensible it is to him that a deity should direct world events because, in his opinion, it testifies to neither wisdom nor love. And that is why he completely rejects God, he gives up all belief in an almighty, loving and wise creator. And it is difficult to teach such a person anything else, it is difficult to make him understand the meaning and purpose of divine activity as long as he recognizes nothing at all other than what is visible and tangible to him. The suffering of the present time certainly allows some people to find their way back to God, but far more lose their faith completely, and that out of ignorance, out of a lack of realization of their actual purpose of life on earth. However, they themselves are to blame for their ignorance insofar as they live without love because they are of wrong will and do not utilize their vitality in the right way.... in serving neighbourly love. For otherwise they would be instructed by the spirit within themselves, their thinking would be right, they would be mentally pointed to their actual purpose and also recognize the deplorable state of affairs brought about by people's lack of love. Man hardens himself more and more through his wrong thinking, which dark powers instil in him, and yet he cannot be helped in any other way than by pointing out his wrong way of life, the consequences of this both for him and his soul as well as earthly for the whole of humanity, which is of the same mind as he is. He can only be made aware of these consequences and thereby recognize the truth that the announced earthly events will also come to pass, so that he will now find an explanation for the great suffering affecting the earth and mentally approach the teachings. This is the only way to make him aware of the coming great event, although he can still find a natural explanation for it if he is completely hardened in his mind. However, his wrong thinking cannot be forcibly guided correctly, it must be left to his will to connect the events with a guiding deity. Faith in God can be gained through profound suffering, through an extraordinary intervention by God which manifests itself in the creation of nature. However, everything can also pass by unimpressively for a person who has completely renounced God and then there is no other way for him to recognize Him. He is lost for this earth period and has to start a new epoch of redemption. He is so far from God that he has to go through the course of development again. His will, which he used wrongly in the free state, has to be bound again because otherwise no redemption is possible for him.

Depresión espiritual.... Negadores de Dios.... Enseñando a estos....

Si visualizáis la depresión espiritual de las personas, que se expresa en un mayor desamor, en una completa incredulidad y en un estilo de vida sobre una base puramente material, también reconoceréis la necesidad de remediar esta depresión espiritual, tan pronto como se os haya informado sobre el significado real y el propósito de la vida terrenal. En consecuencia, el conocimiento de esto es necesario en la medida en que el gobierno y la obra de Dios se vuelven comprensibles para el hombre, que entonces reconoce que solo el amor de Dios es la base de todo lo que sucede, por doloroso e insoportable que parezca para las personas.

Cuanto más el hombre mismo se aparta de Dios a través del desamor, más incomprensible le resulta que una Deidad debe guiar los acontecimientos mundiales porque, en su opinión, no testimonia ni la sabiduría ni el amor. Y es por eso que rechaza a Dios por completo, abandona toda fe en un Creador todopoderoso, amoroso y sabio. Y es difícil instruir a una persona así de otra, es difícil hacerle comprender el significado y el propósito del gobierno divino, siempre y cuando no reconozca nada en absoluto que no sea visible y tangible para él.

El sufrimiento del tiempo presente probablemente permite que algunas personas encuentren el camino de regreso a Dios, pero muchas más pierden su fe por completo, y eso por ignorancia, por falta del propósito real de su vida en la tierra. Pero ellos mismos tienen la culpa de su ignorancia en la medida en que viven sin amor porque son de voluntad incorrecta y no usan su energía vital de manera correcta.... al servicio de la caridad. Porque de lo contrario serían instruidos por el espíritu dentro de sí mismos, su pensamiento sería correcto, se le señalaría mentalmente su determinación real y también reconocerían los agravios que provoca la falta de bondad de los hombres.

El hombre se endurece cada vez más a través de su pensamiento equivocado, que las fuerzas oscuras le infunden, y sin embargo, no puede ser ayudado de otra manera que con referencias a su forma de vida equivocada, a las consecuencias de esto, tanto para él y su alma, así como también terrenalmente para toda la humanidad, que es de la misma mente como él mismo. Solo se le puede llamar la atención de estas consecuencias y reconocer la verdad en ellas, de que los acontecimientos terrenales anunciados también ocurrirán, de modo que ahora encuentra una explicación para el gran sufrimiento que afecta a la tierra, y ahora se acerca mentalmente a las enseñanzas.

Esta es la única manera de hacerle consciente de los grandes acontecimientos que están por venir, aunque todavía puede encontrar una explicación natural para ello, si es completamente de mente obstinada. Pero, obligatoriamente, su pensamiento erróneo no puede ser dirigido correctamente, debe dejarse a su voluntad el de poner los sucesos en relación con una Deidad que lo dirige.

La fe en Dios puede ser ganado mediante un sufrimiento profundo, mediante una intervención extraordinaria de Dios, que se manifiesta en la creación de la naturaleza. Pero también todo puede pasar sin ninguna impresión en la persona que ha renunciado completamente a Dios, y entonces no hay otra posibilidad para llevarle al reconocimiento. Está perdido para este periodo terrestre y debe empezar una nueva época de redención. Está tan lejos de Dios que tiene que volver a pasar por el curso de desarrollo. Su voluntad, que usó erróneamente en el estado libre, tiene que ser atada nuevamente porque de lo contrario no es posible la redención para él....
