Activity of the beings in the beyond.... transmission of knowledge....

The spiritual eye recognizes the processes in the spiritual kingdom and can therefore also see the beings' activity, that is, it can gain an overview of the activity of those beings which extends both to earth as well as to the creations outside of earth. Yet only rarely does the human being on earth have the ability to see with spiritual eyes because this requires a high degree of maturity. And this is why people usually have a completely wrong idea of the beyond, of the kingdom which is outside of earth and which receives the souls of those who have ended their earthly life. And because their knowledge is inadequate they form a wrong idea, for the knowledgeable person realizes that the spiritual kingdom also makes demands on its inhabitants, only the activity is different from that on earth. And as soon as he would be able to see spiritually he would also be able to recognize the nature of the activity and explain to his fellow human beings what the activity of the beings in the beyond consists of. But divine love nevertheless wants to inform people of it, it wants to impart knowledge to them which is intended to contribute towards eager activity of love on earth. For this activity in the beyond is likewise an extremely busy activity of love. The spiritual kingdom harbours more or less God-connected and God-distant beings which live a life full of light or without light in eternity.... they are beings who constantly enjoy bliss or lead a pitiful life in agonizing poverty. And the spiritual being full of light tries to change the latter state in order to likewise lead the beings of darkness to the state of happiness. And this endeavour requires an extremely lively activity, a constant work of love in untiring patience and perseverance. An activity like on earth is out of the question, because the spiritual kingdom is not a material world, it is only a world of thoughts and wishes, it is a spiritual world where nothing physical, visible or tangible exists, but everything is only present in the thought world of the being and the thought is again the epitome of the love power from God flowing towards the being. It is a rich knowledge possessed by beings whose fullness of light testifies to their union with God. And this knowledge also constitutes the being's state of happiness, for through knowledge everything is bright, light and clear. The state of darkness is therefore a state of ignorance, which depresses the being inconceivably, so that the light-filled being takes pity on it and wants to help the being of darkness. On earth the loving human being alleviates his fellow human being's hardship with earthly gifts, in the beyond such gifts are no longer possible, and thus only spiritual gifts can be offered to the being in need, which suffers due to its lack of knowledge. Thus only a mental transfer can take place, and this is the activity of the beings in the beyond, that they try to increase the thought material of the beings without light and direct it into such channels that this thought material corresponds to truth. And this can only happen through perpetual teaching, through a transfer of that which gives joy to the giving being itself.... through a passing on of divine strength to the completely powerless beings which desire strength....

Tätigkeit der Wesen im Jenseits.... Übertragen des Wissens....

Das geistige Auge erkennt die Vorgänge im geistigen Reich, und es kann sonach auch die Tätigkeit der Wesen ersehen, also einen Überblick gewinnen über das Wirken jener Wesen, das sich sowohl auf die Erde wie auch auf die Schöpfungen außerhalb der Erde erstreckt. Doch nur selten hat der Mensch auf Erden die Fähigkeit, mit geistigen Augen schauen zu können, weil dazu ein hoher Reifegrad erforderlich ist. Und darum machen sich die Menschen zumeist einen ganz falschen Begriff vom Jenseits, von dem Reich, das außerhalb der Erde ist und die Seelen derer aufnimmt, die das Erdenleben beendet haben. Und weil ihr Wissen mangelhaft ist, machen sie sich eine falsche Vorstellung, denn der wissende Mensch ist sich darüber klar, daß das geistige Reich an seine Bewohner ebenfalls Anforderungen stellt, nur die Tätigkeit eine andere ist als auf Erden. Und sowie er geistig zu schauen vermöchte, würde er auch die Art der Tätigkeit ersehen und es verständlich den Mitmenschen wiedergeben können, worin das Wirken der jenseitigen Wesen besteht. Die göttliche Liebe will aber dennoch den Menschen davon Kunde geben, Sie will ihnen ein Wissen vermitteln, das beitragen soll zu eifriger Liebetätigkeit auf Erden. Denn es ist dieses jenseitige Wirken gleichfalls eine überaus rege Liebetätigkeit. Es birgt das geistige Reich mehr oder weniger Gott-verbundene und Gott-ferne Wesen, die ein lichtvolles oder lichtloses Leben führen in der Ewigkeit.... es sind Wesen, die ständig Glückseligkeit genießen oder in qualvollster Dürftigkeit ein erbarmungswürdiges Leben führen. Und den letzteren Zustand sucht das lichtvolle Geistige zu wandeln, um die Wesen der Finsternis gleichfalls dem Glückszustand zuzuführen. Und dieses Vorhaben erfordert eine überaus rege Tätigkeit, ein ständiges Liebeswirken in unermüdlicher Geduld und Ausdauer. Eine Tätigkeit wie auf Erden scheidet dabei aus, denn das geistige Reich ist keine materielle Welt, es ist nur eine Welt der Gedanken und Wünsche, es ist eine geistige Welt, wo nichts Körperliches, Sichtbares oder Greifbares besteht, sondern alles nur in der Gedankenwelt des Wesens vorhanden ist und der Gedanke wiederum der Inbegriff der dem Wesen zuströmenden Liebeskraft aus Gott ist. Es ist ein reiches Wissen, das die Wesen besitzen, deren Lichtfülle den Zusammenschluß mit Gott bezeugt. Und dieses Wissen macht auch den Glückszustand des Wesens aus, denn durch das Wissen ist alles hell, licht und klar. Der Dunkelheitszustand also ist ein Zustand der Unwissenheit, der das Wesen unvorstellbar bedrückt, so daß dies das lichtvolle Wesen erbarmt und es dem Wesen der Finsternis beistehen möchte. Auf Erden lindert der liebetätige Mensch die Not des Mitmenschen mit irdischen Gaben, im Jenseits sind solche nicht mehr möglich, und also können nur geistige Gaben dem Wesen geboten werden, das in der Not ist, das leidet durch den Mangel an Wissen. Also kann nur eine gedankliche Übertragung stattfinden, und dies ist die Tätigkeit der Wesen im Jenseits, daß sie das Gedankengut der lichtlosen Wesen zu vermehren suchen und es in solche Bahnen lenken, daß dieses Gedankengut der Wahrheit entspricht. Und es kann dies nur durch immerwährendes Belehren geschehen, durch ein Übertragen dessen, was dem gebenden Wesen selbst Freude bereitet.... durch ein Weiterleiten göttlicher Kraft auf die völlig kraftlosen Wesen, die nach Kraft verlangen....
