.... Out of whose loins shall flow rivers of living water....

Spiritual hunger will always be satisfied and the soul will never need to starve, for God opens the source of life to every person, from which the living water springs. Jesus gave this promise to people on earth, yet the meaning of His promise has not been properly grasped by people, otherwise it would not seem impossible to them that God conveys His word to earth through revelations which come to a person from above. Divine love knows what people are lacking and does not want them to go hungry. And thus the source of life will never run dry, people will always be able to refresh themselves with its water and the human being himself will be able to become a never-ending source if he earnestly strives for it and calls a deep faith his own.... For this is what Jesus promised with the words: "He who believes in Me, out of his loins will flow rivers of living water." He was thus announcing the work of the spirit, the hearing of the divine word in the heart, the water that awakens to eternal life.... every human heart can become the fountain of eternal life, and the source of divine wisdom that flows from a believing heart is inexhaustible. The water that awakens to life is the living word of God, because it can only flow from a person living in love, from a heart that has thus become active, i.e. a living heart.... The word of God has life and awakens to life.... For when it is received in the heart, it is not a dead word. It is not an empty letter, but is felt by the spirit in man and born through the soul in the heart of man. And therefore it must also have a revitalizing effect.... i.e. stimulate activity, which is life. The word of God is the direct emanation of God's love, which must therefore also express itself again as love in the human being to whom the divine word flows.... It must therefore give birth to love again.... The divine word is not limited, it flows from an inexhaustible source like water, which knows no beginning and no end, which flows from the source as long as it is not wilfully caused to dry up. And so the word of God will also flow from the heart of anyone who lives a life of purity and love in deep faith, and the person will now be able to constantly draw from the living water, he will constantly hear the divine word within himself.... rivers of living water will flow from his loins, as God has promised....

그의 허리에서 생수의 강이 흐를 것이다.

영적 굶주림은 항상 해결이 될 것이고, 혼은 굶주릴 필요가 없게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 하나님은 모든 사람에게 생수가 샘솟는 생명의 원천을 열어 주었기 때문이다. 예수님은 이런 약속을 이 땅의 사람들에게 주었지만, 사람들이 그의 약속의 의미를 올바르게 파악하지 못했다. 그렇지 않으면 위로부터 사람에게 주는 계시를 통해 하나님이 자신의 말씀을 이 땅으로 전해주는 일이 사람들에게 불가능해 보이지 않았을 것이다. 하나님의 사랑은 사람들에게 부족한 것이 무엇인지 알고, 그들이 굶주리는 것을 원하지 않는다. 그러므로 생명의 근원은 절대로 마르지 않을 것이고, 사람들은 항상 원천에서 물을 통해 자신을 쾌활하게 할 수 있게 될 것이다. 그가 진지하게 생명의 샘을 추구하고, 깊은 믿음을 갖게 되면, 그 사람 자신이 절대로 마르지 않는 원천이 될 것이다.

왜냐면 이런 일을 예수가 다음 말씀으로 약속했기 때문이다: “나를 믿는 자는 누구든지 그의 허리에서 생수의 강이 흘러나올 것이다. “이를 통해 하나님은 영의 역사를, 심장 안에서 하나님의 말씀을 듣는 일을, 영원한 생명으로 깨어나게 하는 물을 알려주었다. 모든 인간의 심장은 영원한 생명의 샘이 될 수 있다. 믿는 심장에서 흘러나오는 하나님의 지혜의 샘은 마르지 않는다. 생명으로 깨어나게 하는 물은 생명력 있는 하나님의 말씀이다. 왜냐면 단지 사랑을 행하는 사람 안에서, 이로써 행하는 사람 안에서, 다시 말해 생명력이 있는 심장 안에서 생명력 있는 하나님의 말씀이 흘러나올 수 있기 때문이다. 하나님의 말씀은 생명이 있고, 생명으로 깨어나게 한다. 왜냐면 하나님의 말씀을 심장 안으로 받아드리면, 죽은 말이 아니기 때문이다. 하나님의 말씀은 공허한 문자가 아니라, 사람 안의 영이 느끼고, 사람의 심장 안에 있는 혼을 통해 나오기 때문이다. 그러므로 하나님의 말씀은 또한 살아나게 하는 역사를 일으켜야만 한다. 다시 말해 다시 생명을 의미하는 활동을 하도록 자극해줘야만 한다.

하나님의 말씀은 하나님으로부터 직접 발산된 사랑이고, 그러므로 하나님의 말씀이 흘러가는 사람 안에서 다시 사랑으로 나타나야만 한다, 다시 말해 다시 사랑을 낳아야만 한다. 하나님의 말씀에는 제한이 없고, 하나님의 말씀은 악의적으로 샘을 메우지 않는다면, 시작과 끝을 알지 못하는 마르지 않는 샘에서 흘러나오는 생수와 같다. 그러므로 하나님의 말씀은 또한 깊은 믿음으로 순결한 삶과 사랑의 삶을 사는 사람의 심장에서 흘러나올 것이고, 사람은 이제 생명수를 끊임없이 기를 수 있게 될 것이다. 그는 끊임없이 자신 안에서 하나님의 말씀을 들을 것이고, 하나님이 약속한대로 생수의 강이 그의 허리에서 흘러나올 것이다.
