Jesus Christ.... son of God....

The divinity of Jesus is so often the controversial question which people who believe in Him as the son of God are asked to answer.... Once again, this question can only be answered correctly by people of faith; Jesus' divinity can be explained to them, whereas people without faith cannot muster any understanding for it since they neither recognize the existence of a wise, omnipotent and loving deity nor His activity. And thus it will also remain incomprehensible to them that God can let Himself, i.e. His spirit, emanate to people as well as to all beings which emerged from Him.... They do not realize that there is a connection between the creator and His creatures which can never ever end. Nor do they realize that this deity, Which can be always and everywhere, can also shelter Itself in all its fullness in a human external form.... that a human being can thus be permeated by His love, as it were.... permeated by His strength.... And that this human being then harbours so much divinity within himself that his whole being is also permeated by the spirit of God and now his truly divine nature allows him to become a child of God. And this will remain incomprehensible to him as long as he sets himself apart from the teaching of Christ, i.e. as long as he does not take the path that Christ took on earth.... the path of love.... For wisdom only comes through love. The loving person grasps this immediately, he needs no lengthy explanation because the power from God, His spirit, is already at work in him, because he is in the circuit of the divine emanation of love and consequently the effect of a right life of love is also understandable to him. Jesus Christ, however, led such a life of love on earth, and consequently He also stood in the midst of God's emanation of love.... He was seized by God's infinite love, He was radiated through by His spirit, and a strong will flowed through Him.... But love, spirit, power and will are the essence of the eternal deity.... Thus Jesus, too, had become like God, He was His image, He Himself was a divine being, He was the son of God Who could no longer be regarded as an individual being but was completely one with His father from eternity, Who recognized His unity with His father, strived for complete union with Him and, through His life of love, had already found union on earth....

예수 그리스도. 하나님의 아들.

예수님이 하나님인지에 대한 질문은, 예수를 하나님의 아들로 믿는 사람들에게 대답을 요구하는, 논쟁의 대상이 되는 질문이다. 단지 예수를 하나님의 아들로 믿는 사람들에게 이 질문에 대한 올바른 답을 줄 수 있고, 그들에게 예수의 신성을 설명해줄 수 있다. 반면에 믿지 않는 사람들이 이를 이해할 수 있게 해줄 수 없다. 왜냐면 그들은 지혜롭고 전능하고 사랑이 충만한 신성이 존재하는 것을 깨닫지 못하고, 신성의 역사를 깨닫지 못하기 때문이다. 그러므로 그들은 하나님이 자신, 즉 자신의 영을 사람에게 또한 하나님에 의해 생성된 모든 존재들에게 발산해줄 수 있다는 것을 이해할 수 없다.

그들은 창조주와 그의 창조물 사이에 절대로 전혀 끝날 수 없는 연결이 있다는 것을 이해하지 못한다. 그들은 또한 항상 신성이 항상 어디에나 있을 수 있다는 것을 이해하지 못한다. 또한 한 인간의 겉형체 안에 모든 충만함으로 거할 수 있다는 것을 이해하지 못한다. 다시 말해 사람이 하나님의 사랑으로 충만하게 되고, 하나님의 능력으로 충만하게 채워질 수 있다는 것을 이해하지 못한다. 이로써 이 사람 자신의 모든 성품이 하나님의 영으로 충만할 정도로, 신적인 것을 자신 안에 가질 수 있고, 이제 그의 진정한 하나님의 성품이 그를 하나님의 자녀가 되게 한다는 것을 이해하지 못한다.

그가 그리스도의 가르침에서 멀리 떨어져 있는 한, 즉 그리스도가 이 땅에서 걸은 사랑의 길을 걷지 않는 한, 그는 이를 이해할 수 없을 것이다. 왜냐면 지혜는 사랑을 통해 나오기 때문이다. 사랑을 행하는 사람은 이를 즉시 파악하고, 그에게 더 이상 설명할 필요가 없다. 왜냐면 하나님의 힘인 하나님의 영이 이미 그 안에서 역사하고 있기 때문이다. 왜냐하면 그가 하나님의 사랑 발산의 흐름의 영역 안에 있고, 따라서 그가 또한 사랑을 행하는 진정한 삶의 결과를 이해하기 때문이다.

예수 그리스도는 이 땅에서 그런 사랑의 삶을 살았다. 그러므로 예수는 또한 하나님의 사랑의 발산의 영역 안에 거했다. 그는 하나님의 무한한 사랑에 의해 붙잡힘을 받았고, 하나님의 영에 의해 충만하게 되었고, 강한 의지로 충만했다. 그러나 사랑과 영과 힘과 의지는 영원한 신성의 본질이다. 그러므로 예수는 또한 하나님과 같게 되었고, 하나님의 형상이었고, 예수 자신이 신적인 존재였다. 그는 더 이상 개별적인 존재로 간주될 수 없는 하나님의 아들이었고, 영원으로부터 자신의 아버지와 완전히 하나였다. 그는 자신이 자신의 아버지에게 속해 있음을 깨달았고, 아버지와 완전하게 연합이 되기 위해 노력했고, 자신의 사랑의 삶을 통해 이미 이 땅에서 연합을 이루었다.
