Passing on the spiritual food.... charity....

Spiritual nourishment gives the human being the necessary strength to resist evil and to work on his soul. And therefore he need not fear that he might ever lack strength if he needs it, that is, if he has the will for spiritual ascent. The will will always also earn him the strength which can be supplied to the human being through the reception of the divine word. His spiritual hunger will be satisfied at all times and he will no longer want to miss the nourishment of the soul once he has been fed with it. For it is a divine gift, it is the expression of His love, it is the supply of strength and vigour which, once he has received it, the human being will be deprived of. Yet God does not arbitrarily withdraw this divine gift from him, and thus the soul's nourishment remains constant as long as the human being himself does not disregard the gift of grace. Now, however, love dictates that he should also offer his fellow human being spiritual nourishment, to feed him likewise, so to speak, so that he can cover the earthly path in accordance with God's will. Only then will the human being prove himself worthy of God's love. love should impel the human being to give to his fellow human being what has become indispensable to him; he should pass on the strength and grace in the realization that without spiritual nourishment his fellow human being will have to starve and that God allows the gift of grace to reach earth for all people.... For people must constantly wrestle with evil forces and need strengthening in order to be able to fight through their battle. The spiritual food has been offered to man by God out of love, and it should be passed on to fellow human beings with the same love, only then will the recipient of God's divine gift of grace make himself worthy and fulfil the first commandment to love his neighbour as himself....

Il condurre oltre il Cibo spirituale - L’amore per il prossimo

Il Cibo spirituale dà all’uomo la necessaria Forza per la resistenza contro il male e per il lavoro sulla sua anima. E perciò non deve temere che gli possa mai mancare la Forza se ne ha bisogno, cioè se ha la volontà per la risalita. La volontà gli procurerà anche sempre la Forza che può essere guidata all’uomo attraverso la ricezione della Parola divina. Gli verrà calmata sempre la fame spirituale e non vorrà più fare a meno del Nutrimento dell’anima quando ne è stato una volta nutrito. Perché è il Dono divino, è la manifestazione del Suo Amore, è l’apporto della Forza e fortificazione che per l’uomo significa penuria dell’anima, quando l’ha una volta ricevuto. Ma Dio non gli sottrae arbitrariamente questo Dono divino e così rimane costantemente la Nutrizione animica finché l’uomo stesso non disprezza il Dono di Grazia. Ma ora l’amore obbliga di offrire anche al prossimo il Cibo spirituale, di nutrire pure lui in certo qual modo, affinché possa percorrere la via terrena così com’è la Volontà di Dio. Solo allora l’uomo è degno di essere provveduto da Dio con la Sua Forza. L’amore deve spingere l’uomo di rivolgere al prossimo lo stesso che per lui è diventato indispensabile; deve condurre oltre la Forza e la Grazia nella conoscenza che senza il Cibo spirituale l’uomo deve languire e che Dio lascia giungere sulla Terra il Dono di Grazia per tutti gli uomini, perché devono costantemente lottare con le forze maligne e necessitano di una fortificazione per poter combattere la loro battaglia. Il Cibo spirituale è stato offerto agli uomini dall’Amore di Dio e dev’essere condotto oltre nello stesso amore a tutti i prossimi, solo allora il ricevente del divino Dono di Grazia di Dio lo rende degno ed adempie il primo Comandamento, di amare il prossimo come sé stesso.
