Infallibility of the head of church....

Every religious doctrine should be examined before it is accepted. God demands this from you in order to reduce the adversary’s influence, because then you will also understand how he works yourselves. His objective is to infiltrate the divine truth with inaccuracies, but the human being can certainly become aware of it if he seriously examines what he is offered with the desire only to accept the divine, the truth. The opponent uses human will, i.e. he influences people to arbitrarily add other teachings to the divine teaching and to pass them on as God-given teachings. But human work is not without error and consequently the pure divine teaching is spoilt too, and even more so the less people scrutinise and think for themselves. And once again it is the opponent’s doing that human doctrines inherently prevent their scrutiny and contemplation.... that people are therefore required to accept each religious doctrine unconditionally and scrutiny of it is made out to be wrong. This furthers the activity of the prince of lies very much indeed. But God requires people to have a living faith, i.e. a faith of heart, a faith which affirms with full conviction what it is taught. Anyone who seriously thinks about it will be able to affirm every divine truth wholeheartedly, however, he will never be able to accept the action of Satan. He will soon recognise it as human work and, having found it to be worthless, thus abandon it with an easy heart. Examine everything and hold on to the best....

And because scrutiny inevitably has to entail the recognition and rejection of every error, the adversary knew how to prevent the examination of religious dogma by establishing a teaching which was intended to eliminate human thought and which thus has resulted in very nasty consequences.... This concerns the teaching of infallibility of the head of church, which apparently relieves the human being of every responsibility yet leads him into deep spiritual darkness if it is accepted and regarded as divine truth. Because any misguided teaching could then be added as divine truth without permitting criticism or rejection. And thus the door was opened to every error.... a field had been made available to the adversary’s activity on which he could scatter his seed widely....

Unfehlbarkeit des Kirchenoberhauptes....

Jede Glaubenslehre soll geprüft werden, bevor sie angenommen wird. Dies fordert Gott von euch, um das Wirken des Gegners von Gott abzuschwächen, denn ihr selbst werdet dann auch erkennen, was sein Werk ist. Sein Bestreben ist, die göttliche Wahrheit zu durchsetzen mit Irrtum, doch es kann der Mensch sehr wohl erkennen, so er ernstlich das ihm Gebotene prüft im Verlangen, nur das Göttliche, Wahre anzunehmen. Es bedienet sich der Widersacher des menschlichen Willens, d.h., er beeinflußt den Menschen, eigenmächtig der göttlichen Lehre Lehren hinzuzusetzen und sie als von Gott gegeben zu verbreiten. Menschenwerk aber ist nicht frei von Irrtum und somit auch die reine göttliche Lehre verunstaltet, und das desto mehr, je weniger die Menschen selbst prüfen und nachdenken. Und wieder ist es des Widersachers Werk, daß menschliche Lehren das Prüfen und Nachdenken darüber unterbinden.... daß also gefordert wird von den Menschen, eine jede Glaubenslehre bedingungslos anzunehmen, und ein Prüfen derselben als Unrecht hingestellt wird. Und dadurch wird das Wirken dessen außerordentlich begünstigt, der der Fürst der Lüge ist. Gott aber fordert von den Menschen einen lebendigen Glauben, d.h. einen Glauben des Herzens, einen Glauben, der voller Überzeugung bejaht, was ihm gelehrt wird. Jede göttliche Wahrheit wird der Mensch, der ernstlich darüber nachdenkt, auch voller Überzeugung bejahen können, das Werk des Satans aber wird er niemals annehmen können. Er wird es bald als Menschenwerk erkennen und also leichten Herzens dahingeben können, weil er es als wertlos erkennt. Prüfet alles und das Beste behaltet.... Und weil das Prüfen unweigerlich zur Folge haben muß, daß jeglicher Irrtum erkannt und abgewiesen wird, verstand es der Widersacher, das Prüfen von Glaubenslehren zu unterbinden durch Aufstellen einer Lehre, die das menschliche Denken ausschalten sollte und daher sehr üble Folgen gezeitigt hat.... Es ist dies die Lehre der Unfehlbarkeit des Kirchenoberhauptes, die scheinbar den Menschen jeglicher Verantwortung enthebt, ihn jedoch in tiefstes geistiges Dunkel führt, so sie anerkannt und als göttliche Wahrheit gewertet wird. Denn es konnte dann jegliche irrige Lehre als göttliche Wahrheit hinzugefügt werden, ohne daß sie beanstandet oder abgewiesen werden durfte. Und somit war jeglichem Irrtum die Tür geöffnet.... es war dem Wirken des Widersachers ein Feld zur Verfügung gestellt worden, auf das er ausgiebig seine Saat ausstreuen konnte....
