Temple of the lord....

The lord's temple is the human soul when it has moulded itself into love and can now take God Himself into its abode. And this temple is pleasing to God, for now the human being truly serves God, because his activity of love has made him a servant of humanity, and God rewards such love with His nearness.... He comes into the heart of the person who has adorned it as a temple of the lord. The presence of God is the most precious gift for man and therefore also sanctifies the heart that may harbour Him. It has become a temple of God, where God Himself lets His voice be heard by the person in whose heart God has taken up residence. Hearing the voice of God makes man the happiest creature on earth, and he now knows that God is supremely good and holy, that His love is boundless, which leans towards man.... Man himself has become the temple of the lord, and the union with God has taken place.... This is a blissful union, a union of that which once emerged from God with its creator, and such a union must result in supreme bliss for the human being. And this bliss must be the result of a way of life in love, for where there is love there is God.... and where there is God there is unsuspected bliss. As soon as a person has moulded his heart into a temple for the lord, he is a child of God who enters into all filial rights. And so he may also speak with the father from mouth to mouth, he can hear Him at close quarters, he can hear His voice, ask Him and desire an answer, and he will be happy beyond all measure to know that the lord is within him at all times. For whoever's heart the saviour has chosen as His temple will never lose His grace and love, for divine love has seized him and will never leave him again. His spirit has united with the father-spirit and therefore there is no more relapse. Man has passed the test of earthly life, finally freed himself from the power of God's adversary and of his own free will decided in favour of God, Who now rewards his willingness with His boundless love, with His presence, with His voice, which now sounds to him wherever and whenever he wants to hear it. And thus man's heart has become a temple which harbours the holiest within itself, the divine lord Himself, Who has taken up residence in him as He has promised....

Il tempio del Signore

Il tempio del Signore è l’anima umana, se si è formata nell’amore ed ora Dio Stesso può prendervi dimora. E questo tempio compiace a Dio, perché ora l’uomo serve davvero Dio, perché la sua attività d’amore ha fatto di lui un servitore dell’umanità e Dio ricompensa un tale amore con la Sua Vicinanza. Egli viene nel cuore dell’uomo che ha adornato questo da tempio del Signore. La Presenza di Dio E’ il Dono più delizioso per l’uomo e perciò santifica anche il cuore che Lo può ospitare. E’ diventato un tempio di Dio, dove Dio Stesso fa risuonare la Sua Voce che l’uomo può sentire nel cuore in cui Dio ha preso dimora. Sentire la Voce di Dio rende l’uomo la creatura più felice sulla Terra ed ora sà che Dio E’ ultrabuono e santo, che il Suo Amore è illimitato che Si china all’uomo. L’uomo stesso è diventato il tempio del Signore ed ha avuto luogo l’unificazione con Dio. Questa è una beata unificazione, una unione di ciò che una volta era proceduto da Dio, con il suo Creatore ed una tale unione deve procurare all’uomo la più sublime Beatitudine. E questa deve aver l’effetto di un cammino di vita nell’amore, perché dov’è l’amore, c’E’ Dio, e dov’E’ Dio, vi è insospettata Beatitudine. Appena l’uomo ha formato il suo cuore nel tempio per il Signore, è diventato un figlio di Dio che entra in tutti i diritti di figlio. E così può anche parlare con il Padre da Bocca a bocca, Lo può sentire vicinissimamente, può udire la Sua Voce, farGli delle domande e desiderare la Risposta e sarà felice oltre ogni misura di sapere in sé il Signore in ogni momento. Perché il cuore di colui che il Salvatore ha eletto come Suo tempio, non perderà mai e poi mai più la Sua Grazia ed il Suo Amore, perché lo ha afferrato l’Amore divino e non lo lascia mai più in eterno. Il suo spirito si è unito con lo Spirito del Padre e quindi non vi sarà più nessuna ricaduta. L’uomo ha superato la prova della vita terrena, si è definitivamente liberato dal potere dell’avversario di Dio e si è deciso nella libera volontà per Dio, il Quale ora ricompensa la sua volontarietà con il Suo sconfinato Amore, con la Sua Presenza, con la Sua Voce che ora gli risuona dove e quando la vuole sentire. E così il cuore dell’uomo è diventato un tempio che cela in sé il Santissimo, il divino Signore Stesso, il Quale ha preso dimora in lui come Egli lo ha promesso.
