Relationship of man to God as of child to father....

The relationship between man and God should be the same as the relationship between a child and its father. Then the child's love is the driving force to do what the father asks, and then the father can also consider his child as a loving father does. The child should come to the father in the most faithful trust and present his needs to him in the firm confidence that he will be helped, because a good father does not leave his child in need and misery and is always ready to help. This intimate relationship with God presupposes faith in a loving being, in Whose power it lies to avert all evil from man, and God blesses such faith by not leaving unfulfilled the prayer that is sent to Him in such faith. The more heartfelt the child's devotion to His father is, the more lovingly the father will take care of the child, for the human being has now established the original relationship of his own accord, of his own free will; he has fulfilled the purpose of earthly life by bridging the separation from God, as the original spirit from which he emerged, and by God's grace he has placed himself into a state which will result in his union with God as soon as he leaves earthly life. And this can only be achieved by consciously recognizing and voluntarily submitting to a power Which inclines Itself towards earthly people in fatherly love. The relationship between child and father must be established because this was the original relationship in which the being that emerged from God was free and unimaginably happy....

Relação do homem com Deus como de criança para pai....

A relação do ser humano com Deus deve ser a mesma que a relação da criança com o pai. Então o amor infantil é a força motriz para fazer o que o Pai pede, e então o Pai também pode considerar o Seu filho como um Pai amoroso. O filho deve vir ao Pai na confiança mais fiel e apresentar-lhe as suas necessidades na firme confiança de que será ajudado, porque um bom Pai não deixa o seu filho em necessidade e miséria e está sempre pronto a ajudar. Este relacionamento íntimo com Deus pressupõe fé num Ser amoroso em cujo poder reside evitar todo o mal do ser humano, e Deus abençoa tal fé não deixando a oração não cumprida que é enviada a Ele em tal fé. Quanto mais íntima for a devoção do filho ao seu Pai, tanto mais amorosamente o Pai cuidará do filho, pois o ser humano estabeleceu agora a relação original por si mesmo, de livre vontade; cumpriu o propósito da vida terrena, fazendo a ponte entre a separação de Deus como espírito original de Quem ele emergiu e, pela graça de Deus, colocou-se em um estado que lhe confere a união com Deus, assim que deixa a vida terrena. E isso só pode ser alcançado através do reconhecimento consciente e da submissão voluntária a um Poder que se inclina para as pessoas terrenas no amor paternal. A relação do filho com o Pai tem de ser estabelecida, porque esta foi a relação original em que o ser que emergiu de Deus era livre e inconcebivelmente feliz...._>Amém
