Work of the beings of light on willing earthlings....

The beings descend to earth from the kingdom of light and stay close to people who open their hearts to God's emanation of love. As soon as the human being connects with God in thought or heartfelt prayer, his heart is opened to these emanations and now the beings of light can work and impart the emanation from God to the earthly human being who is willing to receive it. They are animated by God's will, they think and want nothing else than God wants, and thus they will also now provide the human being with light and strength in accordance with God's will. The light beings' activity towards earthly people consists of constantly influencing their thoughts and trying to direct them towards spiritual things, thus spiritualizing their thoughts, i.e. distracting them from earthly things. As soon as the beings of light succeed in doing so a soul is won for eternity, for a person who once occupies himself with spiritual thoughts finds no pleasure in earthly experiences, and thus he has also overcome the desire for matter and his soul is approaching a state of maturity, for it unites itself with the spirit within itself which is constantly in contact with the beings of light as givers of strength and light. The soul participates in the gifts offered to the spirit by the beings of light.... It receives light and becomes knowledgeable. This is a great success which the beings of light achieve when they have spiritualized a person in such a way that his thoughts constantly occupy themselves with spiritual questions, that they strive towards God and attach little value to earthly events. For such a spiritualized person will now likewise try to influence his fellow human beings and thus facilitate the light beings' activity on earth by drawing his fellow human beings' attention to the value of spiritual striving, thereby turning their thoughts towards spiritual things and thus working in cooperation with the beings of light....

Wirken der Lichtwesen an willigen Erdenmenschen....

Aus dem Lichtreich steigen die Wesen zur Erde hernieder und halten sich in der Nähe der Menschen auf, die ihre Herzen öffnen der Liebesausstrahlung Gottes. Sowie sich der Mensch in Gedanken oder innigem Gebet mit Gott verbindet, ist sein Herz geöffnet für diese Ausstrahlungen, und nun können die Lichtwesen wirken und dem empfangswilligen Erdenmenschen die Ausstrahlung aus Gott vermitteln. Sie sind von dem Willen Gottes beseelt, sie denken und wollen nichts anderes, als Gott will, und also werden sie auch nun den Menschen bedenken mit Licht und Kraft dem Willen Gottes gemäß. Das Wirken der Lichtwesen an den Erdenmenschen besteht nun darin, daß sie unentwegt deren Gedanken beeinflussen und sie auf geistige Dinge hinzulenken versuchen, daß sie also das Denken vergeistigen, d.h., es von irdischen Dingen ablenken. Sowie dies den Lichtwesen gelingt, ist eine Seele gewonnen für die Ewigkeit, denn ein Mensch, der sich einmal mit geistigen Gedanken befaßt, findet an irdischen Erleben keine Freude, und also hat er auch das Verlangen nach der Materie überwunden, und seine Seele geht dem Reifezustand entgegen, denn sie einet sich mit dem Geist in sich, der ständig mit den Lichtwesen als Spendern von Kraft und Licht in Verbindung steht. Es nimmt die Seele teil an den Gaben, die dem Geist geboten werden von den Lichtwesen.... Sie empfängt Licht und wird wissend. Es ist dies ein großer Erfolg, den die Lichtwesen erringen, so sie einen Menschen in dieser Weise vergeistigt haben, daß dessen Gedanken unentwegt sich mit geistigen Fragen beschäftigen, daß sie Gott entgegenstreben und irdischen Ereignissen wenig Wert beilegen. Denn ein so vergeistigter Mensch wird nun gleichfalls auf seine Mitmenschen einzuwirken versuchen und so den Lichtwesen ihre Tätigkeit auf Erden erleichtern, indem er den Mitmenschen aufmerksam macht auf den Wert geistigen Strebens, dadurch deren Gedanken geistigen Dingen zuwendet und also wirket in Zusammenarbeit mit den Wesen des Lichtes....
