Lies and truth and their origin....

The working of the spirit is unmistakable where the concepts of truth and lie are so clearly distinguished, thus God or His adversary can be recognized as the origin of what is offered to people. The spirit from God will always declare war on all untruth, since it is the pure truth in itself.... the emanation of God, Who is the truth Himself. Truth and falsehood are such opposites that the origin must also be two completely opposite entities. And the person who is in the truth will always feel connected to God, i.e. strive for the good from within, while the follower of the lie is in bondage to the will of the power that ignites all evil instincts in people. Just as the concept of truth can only be associated with God, a person who associates himself with God will never have to fear untruth or error, and consequently truth can always be assumed to exist where people are willing to turn to God. However, it is not the words but the actions of those who believe themselves to be knowledgeable that are decisive. A person who cannot do enough in his deeds of love will also irrevocably stand in the truth, for the spirit from God directs his thoughts towards the right realization. But lies will be represented by those people who do not act lovingly themselves, for their thoughts are influenced by the power that opposes God. The latter will always try to mix truth and lies.... The human being will neither desire the truth nor recognize the lie as such, but will accept without judgement everything that is offered to him, even consider everything to be good, even if it obviously suggests bad powers. For he does not detest lies, since he is blind in spirit and, due to his loveless nature, is still very much related to the one who himself is devoid of all love. Nor will he feel the urge within himself to want to recognize what is true and right because he desires nothing that is from God as long as he is still in the power of God's adversary. The working of the spirit is then understandably not possible, for the spirit from God can only express itself where the truth is desired, because God can only offer divine things to those who endeavour to come close to God. But the lie emanates from the adversary and also leads back to him, for everything that is a lie means distance from God and therefore drawing closer to His adversary. The person who desires the truth will recognize all characteristics of truth as well as those of lies and he will very soon know where he should look for the truth and where he can avoid lies. For the human being who desires truth gives himself, i.e. his thinking, to God, Who then enlightens him with His spirit, i.e. directs his thinking, so that he can clearly recognize and distinguish truth from lies....

Lüge und Wahrheit und ihr Ursprung....

Des Geistes Wirken ist unverkennbar, wo die Begriffe Wahrheit und Lüge so klar auseinandergehalten werden, also Gott oder Sein Gegner als Ursprung dessen, was den Menschen dargeboten wird, zu erkennen ist. Der Geist aus Gott wird immer jeglicher Unwahrheit den Kampf ansagen, da er in sich die pure Wahrheit ist.... die Ausstrahlung Gottes, Der die Wahrheit Selbst ist. Die Wahrheit und die Lüge sind so gegensätzlich, daß auch der Ursprung zwei ganz entgegengesetzte Wesenheiten sein müssen. Und immer wird der Mensch, der in der Wahrheit sich befindet, sich Gott verbunden fühlen, d.h. von innen heraus das Gute anstreben, während der Anhänger der Lüge dem Willen der Macht hörig ist, die alle bösen Triebe im Menschen entfacht. So wie nun der Begriff Wahrheit nur mit Gott in Verbindung gebracht werden kann, wird niemals der Mensch Unwahrheit oder Irrtum zu befürchten haben, der sich selbst in Verbindung mit Gott setzt, und folglich kann immer dort die Wahrheit vermutet werden, wo die Menschen Gott-zugewandten-Willens sind. Maßgebend dafür sind aber nicht die Worte, sondern die Taten derer, die wissend zu sein glauben. Ein Mensch, der sich nicht genug tun kann im Liebeswirken, der wird unwiderruflich auch in der Wahrheit stehen, denn der Geist aus Gott lenkt dessen Gedanken dem rechten Erkennen entgegen. Lügen vertreten aber werden die Menschen, die sich selbst nicht liebend betätigen, denn das Denken derer beeinflußt die Gott-gegnerische Macht. Diese wird stets Wahrheit und Lüge zu vermengen suchen.... Es wird der Mensch weder die Wahrheit begehren, noch die Lüge als solche erkennen, sondern urteilslos alles annehmen, was ihm geboten wird, ja sogar alles für gut halten, selbst wenn es offensichtlich auf schlechte Kräfte schließen läßt. Denn er verabscheut die Lüge nicht, da er blind ist im Geist und durch sein liebeloses Wesen noch sehr wesensverwandt ist mit dem, der selbst jeder Liebe bar ist. Und er wird auch nicht den Drang in sich spüren, das Wahre und Rechte erkennen zu wollen, weil er nichts begehrt, was von Gott ist, solange er noch in der Gewalt des Gegners von Gott sich befindet. Ein Wirken des Geistes ist verständlicherweise dann nicht möglich, denn der Geist aus Gott kann sich nur äußern, wo die Wahrheit begehrt wird, weil Gott Göttliches nur dem bieten kann, der Gott nahezukommen trachtet. Die Lüge aber geht vom Widersacher aus und leitet auch zu ihm zurück, denn alles, was Lüge ist, bedeutet Entfernung von Gott und also Annäherung an Seinen Gegner. Dem nach der Wahrheit verlangenden Menschen werden alle Merkmale der Wahrheit sowohl als auch die der Lüge kenntlich, und er wird sehr bald wissen, wo er die Wahrheit suchen soll und wo er die Lüge meiden kann. Denn der Wahrheit begehrende Mensch gibt sich selbst, d.h. sein Denken, hin an Gott, Der ihn nun mit Seinem Geist erleuchtet, d.h. das Denken richtet, so daß er klar erkennen kann und die Wahrheit von der Lüge wohl unterscheidet....
