Truth - Desire for God....

The inner urge for truth is the sign that the human being feels that he belongs to God, for as soon as he longs for the truth his spirit is active in him and the human being recognizes his origin, he feels himself to be a spirit of God's spirit, he feels himself to be His created being and longs to return to his creator and father of eternity. He who longs for the truth has already detached himself from the hostile power whose endeavours are directed against the truth. Truth is of divine origin, and he who desires to stand in truth seeks to establish a connection with God, Who is Truth Himself. He will detest everything that does not correspond to the truth and will only be anxious not to fall prey to error; he will also avoid appearances and everything that could conceal the truth. For the desire for God in him will not allow him to make concessions to the prince of lies. Once someone desires God, God's love will not let him fall, and therefore it will not tolerate that God's adversary takes possession of people's will and thoughts and thus spreads untruth in the world through them. And so anyone who strives to come closer to God will inevitably stand in the truth and also recognize the truth as such, for this is the gift God offers to anyone who desires Him. No wrong thought can arise in a person if he gives himself to God intimately because he has a desire for God. His thinking will be directed towards the right realization, he can never err, for it is God Himself Who conveys the truth to him, Who in a manner of speaking offers Himself to the earthly child in the form of knowledge which desires Him and the truth. And as soon as the human being stands in the truth he also begins to become like God. A person who denies God will never strive for truth, he will not harbour a desire for knowledge and light, nor will he ever occupy himself with thoughts which are related to God.... He is not thirsty for knowledge and therefore no enlightenment can be given to him. Truth is like a drink of fresh water, clear and refreshing, for truth is a gift from God, and what is from God must be delicious and also have a beneficial and refreshing effect on people. But the truth also unites the human being with God, for being instructed in the truth also means coming ever closer to God, because God and the truth are one. And thus the human being need never fear that he will walk in error as long as his endeavours are directed towards God, for God knows the heart's desire and will not grant error access where truth is striven for and where the human being's will is turned towards God....

Wahrheit - Gottverlangen....

Der innere Drang zur Wahrheit ist das Zeichen, daß der Mensch sich zu Gott gehörig fühlt, denn sowie er nach der Wahrheit verlangt, ist sein Geist in ihm tätig, und es erkennt der Mensch seinen Ausgang, er fühlt sich als Geist vom Geist Gottes, er fühlt sich als Sein Geschöpf und verlangt zurück zu seinem Schöpfer und Vater von Ewigkeit. Wer nach der Wahrheit verlangt, der hat sich schon gelöst von der feindlichen Macht, deren Streben gegen die Wahrheit gerichtet ist. Die Wahrheit ist göttlichen Ursprungs, und der in der Wahrheit zu stehen begehrt, der sucht die Verbindung mit Gott herzustellen, Der die Wahrheit Selbst ist. Er wird alles verabscheuen, was nicht der Wahrheit entspricht, und nur ängstlich darauf bedacht sein, keinem Irrtum anheimzufallen; er wird auch den Schein meiden und alles, was die Wahrheit verschleiern könnte. Denn das Gott-Verlangen in ihm läßt nicht zu, daß er Zugeständnisse macht dem Fürsten der Lüge gegenüber. Wer einmal nach Gott verlangt, den läßt die Liebe Gottes nicht fallen, und also duldet sie auch nicht, daß sich der Gegner Gottes des Willens und der Gedanken der Menschen bemächtigt und also durch diese Unwahrheit in der Welt verbreitet wird. Und so wird, wer das Bestreben hat, Gott näherzukommen, unweigerlich in der Wahrheit stehen und auch die Wahrheit als solche erkennen, denn das ist die Gabe, die Gott einem jeden bietet, der Ihn begehrt. Es kann kein falscher Gedanke im Menschen auftauchen, so er sich Gott innig hingibt, weil er Verlangen hat nach Gott. Dessen Denken wird dem rechten Erkennen zugelenkt werden, er kann niemals irren, denn es ist Gott Selbst, Der ihm die Wahrheit zugehen läßt, Der gewissermaßen Sich Selbst dem Erdenkind anträgt in Form von Wissen, das Ihn und die Wahrheit begehrt. Und sowie der Mensch in der Wahrheit steht, beginnt er auch, Gott ähnlich zu werden. Es wird niemals ein Mensch nach Wahrheit trachten, der Gott verneint, er wird kein Verlangen in sich tragen nach Wissen und Licht, er wird sich auch niemals mit Gedanken befassen, die mit Gott zusammenhängen.... Er ist nicht wißbegierig, und also kann ihm auch keine Aufklärung gegeben werden. Die Wahrheit ist wie ein Trunk frischen Wassers, klar und erfrischend, denn die Wahrheit ist eine Gabe Gottes, und was von Gott ist, muß köstlich sein und sich auch segenbringend und erquickend auswirken am Menschen. Die Wahrheit schließt aber auch den Menschen mit Gott zusammen, denn in der Wahrheit unterwiesen zu werden heißt auch, Gott immer näherzukommen, weil Gott und die Wahrheit eins sind. Und somit braucht der Mensch niemals zu befürchten, daß er im Irrtum wandelt, solange sein Streben Gott gilt, denn Gott kennt das Verlangen des Herzens und wird dort dem Irrtum keinen Zugang gewähren, wo die Wahrheit angestrebt wird und wo der Wille des Menschen Gott zugewandt ist....
