Imperishability of what God allows to come to earth....

A gift that is of divine origin is imperishable. Everything that comes from God remains in its original substance because it is spiritual strength, it is the product of the emanation of love from God. It cannot perish because spiritual strength, once radiated, remains the same forever.... power that stimulates activity.... The form in which this power expresses itself is the same; it always remains imperishable. If God now reveals Himself, He also sends spiritual power to earth, for He is Himself in the word.... but God is strength.... And therefore it is understandable that He does not reveal Himself in the word in order to abandon this word to destruction. What His will allows to come into being has its reason and its purpose. For God does nothing arbitrarily, but everything is premeditated since eternity and testifies to His wisdom and love. And because His programmes are indestructible, they will also fulfil their purpose. Only rarely can the pure word of God be channelled to earth and therefore a work rarely endures. But the will of God is sufficient if what this will has brought to earth is to be preserved. And even if the word is hotly disputed, people will never be able to invalidate it, for its power flows into everyone who seriously scrutinizes it. And God Himself will see to it that only those who seriously scrutinize will gain insight, for He knows what is necessary and everything is good as He allows it to happen. In the time to come hardly anyone will be unburdened and everyone will need encouragement but will not want to look for it where alone it should be sought. Yet if the pure word reaches him he will experience it as strength which stirs him up inwardly and stimulates him to reflect on spiritual problems.... and which, on the other hand, seems to him like a gentle encouragement from on high. And anyone who reads the divine word attentively will fall under its spell, even if they have previously been hostile to it. For the word is power, and the power works as soon as the human being is without resistance towards it. And God will protect His word from falling into the hands of people who are immature in their judgement or still in the power of the adversary.... The word comes to earth in the face of great spiritual adversity; it is a means to remedy it; it is the help God sends to His own and is the lifeline for all who are in danger of drowning in the whirlpool of the world.... And this word should not be able to stand the test of time and be arbitrarily destroyed? God is Himself in the word with men.... This faith eliminates all fear of earthly measures.... God is the word and His love is infinite that He wants to come to people to help them.... However, He cannot make Himself known more visibly than in the word. But where His word flows down to earth, His spirit of love is also active there, and He will never let pass what this spirit of love has created. For God is strength, His working is an outpouring of strength, and human will is unable to dissolve the strength into nothing....

Onvergankelijkheid van dat, wat God naar de aarde laat komen

Een geschenk, dat van goddelijke oorsprong is, is onvergankelijk. Alles wat van God komt, blijft in zijn oorspronkelijke substantie bestaan, want het is geestelijke kracht, het is het voortbrengsel van de liefdesuitstraling uit God. Het kan niet vergaan, omdat geestelijke kracht, die eenmaal uitgestraald is, eeuwig hetzelfde blijft. Kracht, die tot werkzaamheid aanzet. In welke vorm deze kracht ook tot uiting komt, is om het even. Ze blijft steeds onvergankelijk.

Als God Zichzelf nu openbaart, dan stuurt Hij ook geestelijke kracht naar de aarde, want Hij is Zelf in het woord. Want God is kracht. En zodoende is het begrijpelijk, dat Hij niet Zichzelf in het woord openbaart, om dit woord aan de vernietiging prijs te geven. Wat Zijn wil laat ontstaan, heeft zijn verklaring en zijn doel. Want God doet niets willekeurig, maar alles is sinds eeuwigheid voorbedacht en getuigt van Zijn wijsheid en liefde. En omdat Zijn zendingen onverwoestbaar zijn, zullen ze ook hun doelen behalen.

Slechts zelden kan het zuivere woord van God naar de aarde geleid worden en daarom is een werk ook zelden van lange duur. Maar de wil van God voldoet om behouden te laten blijven, wat deze wil naar de aarde liet komen. En ofschoon het woord ook hevig betwist wordt, de mensen zullen het nooit ongeldig kunnen maken, want zijn kracht stroomt in iedereen over, die ernstig onderzoekt. En dat enkel diegenen die ernstig onderzoeken inzicht krijgen, daarvoor zal God Zelf zorg dragen, want Hij weet waar gebrek aan is en alles is goed, zoals Hij het laat gebeuren.

In de komende tijd zal er nauwelijks een mens zijn, die onbelast zal blijven en iedereen zal troostende woorden nodig hebben, maar deze niet daar willen zoeken, waar deze alleen gezocht moeten worden. Maar waar het zuivere woord hem toegestuurd wordt, zal hij het ook als een kracht voelen, die hem innerlijk in beroering brengt en hem aanzet tot nadenken over geestelijke vraagstukken en die hem anderzijds als een zachte bemoediging uit de hoogte voorkomt.

En degene die aandachtig het goddelijke woord leest, zal gefascineerd worden, ook wanneer hij er zich eerst tegen verzet heeft. Want het woord is kracht en de kracht wordt werkzaam, zodra de mens er geen weerstand tegen biedt. En God zal Zijn woord ertegen beschermen, dat het in handen valt, die te onrijp zijn voor de beoordeling ervan of zich nog in de macht van de tegenstander bevinden. Het woord komt naar de aarde met het oog op de grote geestelijke nood. Het is een middel voor het opheffen hiervan. Het is de hulp, die God de Zijnen stuurt en die het redmiddel is voor allen, die in het gevaar verkeren te verdrinken in de maalstroom van de wereld. En zou dit woord niet de tijd moeten overleven en niet willekeurig vernietigd moeten kunnen worden?

God Zelf is in het woord bij de mens. Dit woord elimineert elke vrees voor aardse maatregelen. God is het woord en Zijn liefde is eindeloos, zodat Hij naar de mensen wil komen om hen te helpen. Hij kan Zich echter niet zichtbaarder bekendmaken dan in het woord. Maar waar Zijn woord op aarde neerdaalt, daar is ook Zijn liefdesgeest werkzaam en nooit zal Hij laten vergaan, wat deze liefdesgeest liet ontstaan. Want God is kracht en Zijn werkzaam zijn is uitstroming van kracht en de menselijke wil is niet in staat om die kracht in het niets op te lossen.
