Faith and love necessary to recognize....

Only where there is love is there also light, and where love works for each other, there will also be understanding. For a loving person will succeed in searching the deepest depths of his heart and will discover the light that shines within him. And he will be knowing, even though he is in a completely ignorant environment. And everyone can reach this knowing state if he wants to. Only unkindness sets barriers which cannot be crossed, and thus unkindness is always the cause of spiritual darkness. Worldly knowledge is not affected, but spiritual knowledge is. However, God's mercy also allows spiritual knowledge to reach those who do not descend into the depths of the heart themselves.... He also offers it to them where it is not desired in order to awaken the desire for the light.... It is then often difficult to accept it as divine truth because the person has not travelled the actual path to attaining knowledge and because his faith in God's love, wisdom and omnipotence is not strong enough. He does not recognize God in His greatness and he does not know about His infinite love for people. And therefore it does not seem possible to him that this love expresses itself towards His earthly children. And his lack of faith prevents him from recognizing what God is doing to him.... Love and faith are the pillars of the teaching proclaimed by Jesus Christ.... Recognition is also rooted in love and faith. Faith in God's love, wisdom and omnipotence makes everything seem possible, because it is founded in love, it is decided in His wisdom and carried out by His omnipotence. Who therefore stands in faith and at the same time is active in love, his heart also grasps the extraordinary working of those spiritual powers, which stand in God-like will, which are therefore mediators of the divine power current. And therefore it is understandable that people's lack of love makes God's obvious activity necessary. Faith is to be renewed or strengthened as a result, otherwise the wisdom, the divine truth, cannot be conveyed to people. God's will, however, is that there should be light amongst them, and thus He first seeks to deepen their faith, and this is again only possible if a process occurs where evidence ceases to exist, thus He allows supernatural working to be assumed. Evidence cannot always be offered to people and they should learn to believe without it. He will also be able to do so if, in case of doubt, he approaches God Himself for clarification or strengthening of faith. The willingness to believe is already a considerable step forward, the ability to believe is then the consequence of the will to believe. For God also gives the one who wants to believe the strength to carry out His will, and what still seems unacceptable to him today can already be understandable to him tomorrow if the path to God is travelled by him and not only the intellect tries to fathom something that seems extraordinary to him. God wants to be approached for the truth. But a person should never feel called upon to try to clarify something that seems extraordinary without divine assistance. If he asks for it, it will soon become clear to him whether and to what extent divine activity is the cause of an unusual event. Faith and loving activity are therefore absolutely necessary if a person wants to make a judgement that corresponds to the truth. However, anyone who lacks either of these will also be imperfect in his thinking. He cannot grasp the truth and is therefore incapable of scrutinizing what is commanded to people by God....

깨닫기 위해서는 믿음과 사랑이 필요하다.

단지 사랑이 있는 곳에 빛이 있고, 사랑이 서로를 위해 역사하는 곳에 이해가 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 사랑하는 사람은 심장의 가장 깊은 곳을 찾는 일에 성공하고, 그는 자신 안에서 비추는 빛을 발견하게 될 것이기 때문이다.

그는 완전히 무지한 환경 속에 있지만, 알게 될 것이다. 누구나 원한다면, 이런 아는 상태에 도달할 수 있다. 단지 사랑 없음이 넘어갈 수 없는 장벽을 세운다. 그러므로 항상 사랑 없음이 영적인 어두움의 원인을 찾아야만 한다. 세상의 지혜를 가진 사람들은 고난을 함께 당하게 될 것이지만, 영적인 지식을 가진 사람은 고난을 당하지 않게 될 것이다.

그러나 하나님의 긍휼은 또한 스스로 심장 깊은 곳으로 들어가지 않는 사람들에게 영적 지식이 전달되도록 허용한다. 하나님은 또한 빛을 향한 갈망을 깨우기 위해, 갈망하지 않는 사람에게 빛을 제공한다. 그러면 이 빛을 하나님의 지혜로 영접하는 일이 어렵다. 왜냐면 사람이 실제 지식을 얻기 위한 길을 가지 않았기 때문이고, 그의 하나님의 사랑과 지혜와 전능함에 대한 믿음이 충분하게 강하지 않기 때문이다.

그는 하나님의 위대함을 깨닫지 못하고, 사람들을 향한 하나님의 무한한 사랑을 알지 못한다. 그러므로 이런 사랑이 이 땅의 자신의 자녀들에게 자신을 표현하는 일이 그들에게 불가능해 보인다. 믿음의 부족이 하나님이 그에게 행하는 일을 깨달을 수 없게 한다.

사랑과 믿음은 예수 그리스도가 선포한 가르침의 기둥이다. 지식도 또한 사랑과 믿음에 근거를 두고 있다. 하나님의 사랑과 지혜와 전능함에 대한 믿음은 모든 일이 가능하게 보이게 한다. 왜냐면 모든 일이 사랑에 기초하고, 모든 일이 하나님의 지혜로 결정이 되고, 하나님의 전능함을 통해 실행이 되기 때문이다.

그러므로 믿음 안에 서고, 동시에 사랑 안에서 일하는 사람은 누구나 하나님과 같은 뜻을 가진, 즉 하나님의 힘의 흐름의 중재자인 영적인 세력의 특별한 일을 이해할 수 있다. 그러므로 인간의 사랑 없음이 하나님이 명백하게 역사하는 일이 필요하게 한다는 것을 이해할 수 있다. 이를 통해 믿음이 새롭게 되거나, 강하게 되어야 한다. 왜냐면 그렇지 않으면 지혜들인, 하나님의 진리가 사람들에게 전달될 수 없기 때문이다.

그러나 하나님의 뜻은 그들 사이에 빛이 임하는 일이다. 그러므로 하나님은 먼저 믿음을 깊게 해주려고 시도한다. 이런 일은 단지 증명할 수 없는 일들이 일어날 때, 즉 사람이 초자연적인 일로 영접하게 하는 일을 통해 가능하다. 인간에게 항상 증거를 제공할 수 없다. 그는 증거 없이, 일어난 그대로 믿는 법을 배워야 한다. 그는 또한 의심하지 않고, 하나님 자신에게 설명을 해주거나, 믿음을 강하게 해주기를 구한다면, 그는 또한 믿을 수 있게 될 것이다.

믿기 원하는 의지는 이미 현저하게 성장한 것이다. 믿을 수 있는 능력은 믿기 원하는 의지의 결과이다. 왜냐면 하나님은 믿기 원하는 사람에게 그의 뜻을 수행할 힘을 주기 때문이다. 그가 하나님께 향한 길을 간다면, 그리고 단지 이성만이 그에게 특별하게 보이는 것을 헤아려 보게 하지 않는다면, 오늘 받아드릴 수 없게 보이는 것이 내일은 그에게 이해할 수 있게 된다.

하나님은 사람들이 진리를 간청하기를 원한다. 그러나 사람은 하나님의 도움 없이는 어떤 특별한 일을 명확하게 설명하도록 부름을 받았다고 느껴서는 안 된다. 그가 설명해주기를 간청한다면, 하나님의 역사가 특별한 일의 원인인지, 어느 정도 원인인지가 그에게 선명하게 될 것이다.

그러므로 사람이 진리에 합당한 판단을 내리기를 원한다면, 믿음을 갖고, 사랑을 행하는 일이 절대적으로 필요하다. 그러나 둘 중 하나가 부족한 사람은 그의 생각이 또한 아직 완전하지 못하게 될 것이다. 그는 진리를 이해할 수 없고, 그러므로 하나님이 사람들에게 제공하는 것을 점검할 수 없다.
