Spiritual rebirth.... mediator.... task

The moment of spiritual rebirth is immensely uplifting for the soul and yet only slightly perceptible to the body, since spiritual rebirth is a union of the soul with the spirit within itself and signifies a separation from the body. The body has little part in this act of union and therefore this is often very difficult as long as the body has not yet become still, i.e. as long as it still puts up a certain resistance to the soul if it wants to enter into this union with the spirit. And yet heartfelt prayer gives the soul the strength to carry out its will. And prayer should therefore be used as an antidote when the body's desire is too strong and the soul threatens to become weak. The spirit in the human being also struggles for the soul and would like to bring it the delights of union, and if the soul then does not comply with its urging, the body gains the upper hand and its desire is fulfilled.... The spirit in man cannot force the soul, just as the body cannot exert any compulsion on it. It is up to the soul what it chooses. The decision in favour of the spirit, however, earns the soul a spiritual reward, whereas only earthly rewards await the soul if it decides in favour of the body. The spiritual reward is a total transformation of its thinking, eternal truth and knowledge, i.e. light.... The earthly reward is the goods of this world, which are impermanent and transient with the physical death of man. The person who is born again in the spirit no longer needs to fear earthly death, for his life lasts forever and he only lays down the earthly body in order to enter eternal life without any outer shell. He is therefore reborn into a new life in which there is no more death. However, the rebirth of the spirit excludes earthly pleasures and worldly enjoyment, because spirit and body cannot be considered at the same time. The soul can only decide in favour of one or the other. He who is therefore only worldly-minded will never be able to speak of the rebirth of the spirit. He must avoid everything worldly and completely separate himself from it in his heart, only then can the soul enter into union with the spirit, and the complete fusion of both results in rebirth, which is unimaginably blissful because it makes the human being worthy of receiving the wisdom from God, because it makes him a bearer of light and consequently a link between God and people. To be able to be a mediator who is allowed to announce the divine will to fellow human beings is a grace of utmost importance and associated with a task whose fulfilment again guarantees highest maturity of soul, and again only few people make themselves worthy of this grace, and only few people offer themselves to God for service and ask Him for an earthly task for the benefit of fellow human beings. But God provides these few with His love and grace in abundance, and they may request this grace and love at any time.... God will always listen to their requests and provide them with strength so that they are able to fulfil their task, so that the power of the spirit may work in them for the blessing of humanity....

La rinascita spirituale - Il mediatore - Il compito

Il momento della rinascita spirituale eleva enormemente l’anima e comunque solo poco percettibilmente per il corpo, perché la rinascita spirituale è una unificazione dell’anima con lo spirito in sé e significa separazione dal corpo. Il corpo ha poca parte in questo atto di unificazione e perciò è sovente molto difficile, finché il corpo non è diventato calmo, cioè finché oppone ancora all’anima una certa resistenza, quando vuole entrare in questa unificazione con lo spirito. E malgrado ciò, l’intima preghiera dà all’anima la Forza per eseguire la sua volontà. E perciò la preghiera dev’essere usata come mezzo di contrasto, quando il desiderio del corpo è troppo forte e l’anima minaccia di diventare debole. Pure lo spirito nell’uomo lotta per l’anima e vorrebbe procurarle le delizie dell’unificazione, e se poi l’anima non cede alla sua spinta, il corpo conquista il predominio, ed il suo desiderio viene esaudito. Lo spirito nell’uomo non può costringere l’anima, precisamente come il corpo non può esercitare su di lei nessuna costrizione. L’anima è libera per che cosa si decide. Ma la decisione per lo spirito procura all’anima una ricompensa spirituale, mentre all’anima spetta solo una ricompensa terrena se si decide per il corpo. La ricompensa spirituale è una totale trasformazione del suo pensare, eterna Verità ed il sapere, quindi Luce. La ricompensa terrena sono i beni di questo mondo, che sono incostanti e perituri con la morte corporea dell’uomo. L’uomo, che è rinato nello spirito, non deve più temere nessuna morte terrena, perché la sua vita dura in eterno, e depone il corpo terreno solamente per entrare nell’eterna Vita senza qualsiasi involucro esterno. Quindi è rinato ad una nuova Vita, nella quale non esiste più nessuna morte. La rinascita dello spirito però esclude gioie terrene e godimento mondano, perché non può essere provveduto contemporaneamente allo spirito ed al corpo. L’anima si può decidere solo per uno dei due. Quindi chi è di mentalità solo mondana, non potrà mai parlare della rinascita dello spirito. Deve evitare tutto il mondano e separarsene totalmente nel cuore, solo allora l’anima può entrare in collegamento con lo spirito e la totale fusione di ambedue ha per conseguenza la rinascita che rende inimmaginabilmente beati, perché rende l’uomo degno di ricevere le Sapienze di Dio, perché fa di lui il portatore di Luce e quindi un anello di congiunzione fra Dio e gli uomini. Poter essere un mediatore che può annunciare ai prossimi la Volontà divina, è una Grazia della massima importanza ed è unita con un compito il cui esaudimento garantisce di nuovo la più sublime maturità dell’anima, e nuovamente solo pochi uomini si rendono degni di questa Grazia, e solo pochi uomini si offrono in servizio a Dio e Gli chiedono un compito terreno per il bene dei prossimi. Ma questi pochi vengono provveduti da Dio con il Suo Amore e Grazia in ultramisura, e possono chiedere in ogni tempo questa Grazia e l’Amore. Dio darà sempre ascolto alle loro richieste e li provvederà con la Forza, affinché siano in grado di adempiere il loro compito, affinché agisca in loro la Forza dello spirito per la Benedizione dell’umanità.
