Many are called, few are chosen.... labourers in the vineyard....

Many people are indeed called to serve God, yet only a few people respond to God's call, and these few are therefore the chosen ones to whom God gives a task which is tremendously important and who are therefore showered with divine grace. For they consciously give themselves to God and are therefore easily guided by Him because they offer no resistance to His divine guidance. For they believe in God and eagerly endeavour to fulfil His will. But God's will is to proclaim the truths of faith to people.... It is God's will that a link should agree to receive His word, to build the bridge from earth to the beyond, and as such He would accept every person who would like to offer himself to Him out of love for his fellow human beings. For He needs many labourers for His vineyard. However, the will of man usually strives against the divine will and so only a few will agree to work for Him.... So only a few are chosen, i.e. only a few receive God's grace so obviously that it is recognized as grace. And this explains why people cannot really imagine which forces are at work in the creation of these writings, i.e. why they express themselves in such a way that the result can be visible to all people. Whatever God gives and in whatever form, it will always remain incomprehensible to people as long as they do not fulfil such a task, which is a conscious service in love, but which can never be expected of a person who is in the midst of earthly life. Even if God calls him to spiritual activity.... he will not hear the call.... And if he hears it, he will not want to give up the earthly world and therefore will not be able to answer the call. Only someone who surrenders everything will be chosen to work for the lord, for he must listen within and can only do so if nothing ties him to the earthly world anymore, if he fully surrenders his will and submits himself to God for constant guidance. He is now constantly looked after by the beings who take care of him on God's behalf, and his unrestricted devotion to God now earns him a gift of grace of incomprehensible value.... He is taught without interruption, he is given a light so that it shall shine far and wide. Thus he has now become a mediator between God and people who, in their blindness and stubbornness, are no longer able to hear the voice of God within themselves and who nevertheless need active help, whose soul also sighs for redemption.... A single person who offers himself to God for service can have a tremendously beneficial effect for humanity, for whom the lord chooses He also provides with His grace and strength to a great extent, so that he may be an efficient labourer in His vineyard, so that he may provide help in love where it is needed....

Molti sono chiamati, pochi gli eletti - Operai nella Vigna

Molti uomini sono chiamati a servire Dio, ma solo pochi uomini seguono la Chiamata di Dio e questi pochi sono gli eletti ai quali Dio pone un compito che è immensamente importante, e che verranno ricoperti con la Grazia divina. Perché si danno coscientemente a Dio e perciò facilmente guidare da Lui, perché non oppongono nessuna resistenza alla Sua Guida divina, perché credono in Dio e sono ferventissimamente intenzionati ad adempiere la Sua Volontà. Ma la Volontà di Dio è di annunciare agli uomini le Verità della fede. La Volontà di Dio è che un anello di congiunzione si dichiari disposto per l’accoglienza della Sua Parola, di edificare il ponte dalla Terra nell’aldilà, ed Egli accetterebbe come tale ogni uomo, che volesse offrirsi a Lui per amore per il prossimo, perché Lui ha bisogno di molti operai per la Sua Vigna. La volontà dell’uomo però tende quasi sempre contro la Volontà divina, e così si dichiareranno solo pochi di agire per Lui. Quindi solo pochi sono eletti, cioè solo a pochi affluisce la Grazia di Dio in modo così evidente, che viene riconosciuta come Grazia. E così è spiegato, del perché l’uomo non riesce a farsi nessuna giusta immagine, quali Forze sono efficaci nel sorgere di questi Scritti, che si manifestano quindi in modo, che il risultato può essere visibile per tutti gli uomini. Qualunque cosa Dio dà ed in quale forma, rimarrà sempre incomprensibile per gli uomini, finché non adempiono un tale compito, che è un servire cosciente nell’amore, cosa che però non può mai essere aspettata da un uomo, che sta in mezzo alla vita terrena. Anche se Dio lo chiama all’attività spirituale, non sentirà la Chiamata. E se la sente, non vorrà rinunciare al mondo terreno e quindi non potrò seguire la Chiamata. Solo chi rinuncia a tutto, verrà eletto per l’agire per il Signore, perché deve ascoltare nell’interiore e lo può fare soltanto, quando non c’è più niente che lo incatena al mondo terreno, quando rinuncia totalmente alla sua volontà e si sottomette a Dio per la costante Guida. Ora viene in continuazione assistito dagli esseri, che si prendono cura di lui su Incarico di Dio, e la sconfinata devozione a Dio gli procura ora un Regalo di Grazia di inafferrabile valore. Viene istruito senza interruzione, gli viene data una Luce, affinché deve risplendere lontano. Lui è ora diventato quindi un mediatore fra Dio e gli uomini, che nella loro cecità ed ostinazione non sono più capaci, di sentire in sé la Voce di Dio, e che hanno comunque bisogno di un forte aiuto, la cui anima sospira anche per la Redenzione. Un unico uomo che si offra Dio nel servizio, può operare in modo immensamente benefico per l’umanità, perché chi il Signore elegge, lo provvede anche con la Sua Grazia e Forza in alta misura, affinché Gli sia un diligente operaio nella Vigna, affinché presti l’aiuto nell’amore, dove questo è necessario.
